My 3-year-old son received this set as a Christmas present last year, and he has played with it at least four days a week since then. That bothers me a lot because, as most parents are aware, it's simple to buy a gift you believe your kid would enjoy, and they do, for about two weeks, until it's entirely forgotten.These trains are much less expensive than name brand toys while still being impeccably painted, strong, and compatible with the majority, if not all, of the name brand wooden trains and track sets. These fit in well with the wooden Thomas locomotives that my son already has. The magnets are also rather powerful, but not so powerful that a tiny child couldn't readily tear them apart. My son frequently constructs trains with 8 or 9 cars, and he can usually pull them around the track without them disintegrating.There is an extra benefit of fine motor work with a few of the trains having sections that lift off and snap back onto pegs (like the oil tanker train).My autistic son occasionally tosses things when he is upset. These trains have been dropped on the rough kitchen floor several times, but they are in good condition. They should endure a very, very long time, in my opinion.The wooden box that they come in, as seen in the image, provides a great gift presentation, but the fact that the "shelves" aren't very deep makes it impractical for keeping the trains. In order to exhibit some of my son's miniature figures, including Shopkins, we ultimately spray painted it and hung it up in his room.

My two young boys, who love trains and have a sizable collection of trains for their wooden track system, are both railfans. My error was to put this on my 3-year-wish old's list rather than my 2-year- old's, so when my 3-year-old opened this gift, my 2-year-old almost had a tantrum! Poor little 2 year old looked like his Christmas had been wrecked as they fought over it. Therefore, I went online and placed an order for a second one, and the boys carry these about with them. There will undoubtedly be tears when a sensitive disappears.Excellent quality, as usual with Brio, the magnets are powerful, operate with other magnet train cars and the common wooden railway rails. a huge hit

These trains are fantastic! When my kid was 13 months old, we originally bought the other set offered by Orbrium, and he played with those EVERY DAY until we finally gave him this collection with the animals. Even at the age of 19 months, my kid still adores these as much as he did the previous set. The trains are composed of robust wood and high-quality components and are extremely colorful and beautifully painted. Since the magnets are polarized, you only need to ensure sure they are facing each other in the proper direction. These sets fit and glide quite well on our Step2 Canyon Table, which we bought them for. These are especially fantastic since the trains can be put together in a multitude of ways to offer variation for kids who are very active and imaginative!

My son thinks the item is pretty cool. He absolutely adores it! We engage in chasing and saving games. As you play a game of dinosaur invasion. It has a priceless design and several ornamental elements. My son caused some pieces lose after two weeks. I therefore choose to get him a new one. so that I can double the size of the track way! It'll be even more enjoyable! Purchase one for your son; it is the first toy in which he has consistently shown interest for more than two weeks. Really a boy thing, the car thing!

My children, ages 5 and 6, adore this set. They enjoy seeing the fast-moving autos. Due to their speed and power, the vehicles occasionally veer off the track, but this only adds to the excitement for the drivers who then have to scramble to catch them and get them back on the road. The craftsmanship is excellent, and the dinosaur motif is enjoyable. I only had a very tiny issue, but the business swiftly fixed it and assisted us! The only caution I can give is to avoid playing with your hair down on the ground. My daughter can only play with the car while her hair is up since she frequently gets it trapped in her hair. Totally worth the price and a wonderful present for a child between the ages of 4 and 8.

When our grandson opened up wonderful train, his face lit up. Oh, that's just what I've always desired! You can take the word of a very contented four-year-old as gospel that it works well. Thomas and Friends are featured in literature and on television because trains are currently very popular. It appears to be well-made and utilizes batteries that an infant cannot remove to go around the track. The little battery compartment on the train is opened using a screwdriver. This is a smart move since, if the batteries were accessible, one particular small brother might put one in his mouth. So it appears to be a fantastic toy. Without a track, we also played with it on the floor. On the ground, it moves fairly quickly. The track is great, though, of course. It was a nice addition to his collection of trains.

With the new "Trackmaster" wheel set, which resembles tiny gears, this engine is powerful. It functions best on the "Trackmaster" plastic tracks, but it may still be run on flat, straight wooden track. Choose an engine that is intended for running primarily on wooden track.There is only one very minor flaw: this engine features a coupling rod that moves like a real locomotive but doesn't actually operate, between the drive wheels. A minor pinch point forms between the coupling rod and train body as it swings up and down close to the side of the train. The rod is made of a very soft, flexible plastic, so there is just a very slight squeeze. Don't poke your finger there though.

This was purchased for my nephews, and they enjoy it. Even when my sister was trying to open the box, my one nephew wouldn't let go of it! Excellent quality, but somewhat smaller than I anticipated. There is no need to worry about this, and we will probably add more later. My nephew frequently came over asking me to assemble the train and car because they are simple to disassemble. It works well on tile or wood, but obviously not on carpet. The straightforward packing was appreciated by my sister!

This bell is my favorite because it is NOT loud! I cannot emphasize this more. If you're in the same room as the child playing with the train, you can hear it, but it's not annoyingly loud.Train cars with metal wheel hubs perform better with the bell than those with plastic wheel hubs. A magnet can be found inside the green box inside the red piece on the track. The bell sounds when a metal wheel passes by the magnet that activates it. On most of my kids' railway vehicles, it functions. If there is a metal axle behind the plastic wheel, even those with plastic wheels will function.But whether the train is slanting in the direction of the bell or away from it does matter. A wooden train's track has around a 2mm gap where the train cars can move back and forth. It doesn't function as well if it's 2 mm farther away from the magnet trigger. It works perfectly if it is 2 mm closer to the magnet trigger.I'd estimate that 85%–90% of the wheels in real-world scenarios that involve pushing a full train of cars past the bell cause the bell to ring.It's incredibly small. It is a little bit. So it may be stored in any box you use to store your trains while they are not in use.

My kids, as well as my husband and I, like playing with this toy a lot. My kids were incredibly excited when I took it out of the package and turned it on, and their faces lit up so quickly. They enjoyed being chased around by the train. When the lights go off at night, it's especially enjoyable! Since it wasn't the product's fault and my youngest was rough with it, I had a problem with it. However, customer support replaced it regardless of my expectations. Incredible client service! I'll surely be purchasing the other kinds of vehicles soon!
