Although I didn't want to get this specific trampoline, I'm satisfied with my "mistake." For my two-year-old, who started jumping on furniture, I wanted a trampoline. When this one arrived and I discovered it required to be put together, I realized my error. I had assumed I had ordered one that was essentially ready to go. But after assembling it, I found this trampoline was much better after reading the reviews of the other one. It is constructed of springs, just like a real trampoline, which increases its durability. Additionally, it has a weight limit that is considerably larger than the other, allowing me to ride with my son, who adores it! Even though it required some laborious assembly, my husband was able to finish it very fast. We labeled each pair of holes to match the ring where the springs went to make it easier for us to put it together. Once we accomplished that, it was simple to understand and we quickly got it together. It's a good size for my son to bounce around in, but it's also not too big to take up a lot of room because we put it in the den with his other toys. Overall, this was a great buy, and my son adores it!

*** As of November 2017, I've put together well over a thousand trampolines. Thanks to all of you, my company has received support and a lot of potential customers have seen my reviews. ***I'm Joey, and I manage Jumpy Joey Trampoline Company from the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex in Rockwall. I've been assembling trampolines for my customers for more than 4 years now—not wooden forts, basketball hoop, bicycles, or anything else. You can find us online by performing a quick web search.Skywalker produces a huge selection of trampolines in every size, shape, and price range. They have a lot of different sizes available, but the one with the biggest bounce, in my opinion, is this 12' Round trampoline. Except for size, the 12' and 15' round variants are identical. This unit typically requires two persons to assemble it. Before starting the assembly, you need first make an inventory of the parts. Check to see that the necessary screws, hardware, and pole caps are present. These things are frequently shipped in pretty poor condition, and frequently when I go to assemble them, the smaller pieces are missing. The squares and rectangles that Skywalker manufactures tend to have this more frequently than the round shapes do.Be warned that Skywalker is a low-cost brand before purchasing. The padding is also relatively thin, and neither the frame nor the springs are particularly substantial. Although there are some more expensive devices that are accessible online and will outlast these, you get what you pay for.When everything is assembled, start by putting the unit's feet together. The height of this one will be 6 feet. When all of the feet are ready, arrange them in a circle with the screw holes on the inside of the frame circle. A frame piece with a brass buckle and a square notch for a pole should be alternated with one without. To create the frame, complete these around the outside. Once the frame is supported by itself, go inside and secure it with screws. Before continuing, make sure that every other frame component has a notch through which a tube pole may pass to hold the enclosure in place. Next, collect the jumping mat, which should already have the enclosure net attached to make things go more quickly. Some do, while others don't. If yours was already attached, make every effort to keep it so during the following step. The mat should be placed in the middle of the frame with the net on top. Locate the entrance (the zippered area). Place the doorway's center between two frame pieces that DO NOT have a slot for the enclosure's vertical pole. The mat must be placed in a specific pattern or you will never succeed, no matter how strong you are. Once you've attached a spring to hold it in place there, begin counting every 12 sites for the next spring. Following a 12-spring circuit, move on to every six, then every three, and finally every remaining spring. If you accomplish this correctly, mounting the springs will be a breeze. A tool is included with the unit that will assist in this process as well. Use a different spring to pull the others if you don't have the tool (it works the same). You ought should now have a frame, springs, and mat put together. Now that you have the padding, position it so that the notches allow the vertical enclosure poles to pass through them. Once you come to this point, it will be clear what this means. Tie the padding down all around. I always make sure that it is snug and rests in place without appearing to be pulling excessively. However, I never do this too firmly. The enclosure poles must be put together as the final phase. Six poles will need to be put together. Each pair of six will have a top and a bottom. Turn the square head at the bottom of the piece toward the ground. In order to attach it to the bottom pole, locate the tube that has an angle in it. You'll see that the tube with the angle has two holes—one for the top cap and one for the screw—that pass through both the front and back of the tube. When attaching these, make use of the screw hole. Place the foam covering on each pole when you have finished building them. Go slowly while doing this to avoid them ripping you off. Also, be aware that these foam coverings won't last for many seasons, so plan to buy more in the future. Place the constructed enclosure poles on the trampoline in the proper locations. Attach the pole cap and the top of the pole to the net at each segment of the net by going around it. Before attempting to erect any of them, do this from the ground and attach all 6. Go around and raise each pole once they are all finished to erect the enclosure netting. Even though you're almost there, you're not quite finished. There should now be six black plastic caps at the bottom of each pole where it linked to the frame, which must be hammered into place to secure the pole from below. The next step is to go to the top of the frame (on the padding) and secure the straps around the pole caps to take up any remaining slack in the netting. Over time, these can come undone; just get back up and re-tie them. Now that your trampoline is finished, you're either happy with the results or wishing you had hired a professional to come and save your marriage! We had a storm arrive a week or two after setting up the trampoline. It had winds of more than 70 mph and lasted for approximately 35 minutes. The storm's sudden arrival and the tremendous winds made me believe that a tornado alert might arrive any second. Tragically, this unforeseen storm led to a boat accident that killed several people in a lake south of us, close to Branson, Missouri. The enormous blackjack oaks that surround the trampoline in our front yard had branches blown off of them by this storm, and one large tree in our backyard was entirely uprooted. Even though this trampoline wasn't fastened to the ground, it remained in place! I'm amazed because the last time this kind of storm hit, the wind picked up our 16-foot round trampoline and flung it into the neighbors' yard, twisting the frame into a wonderful figure-8 that was impossible to mend! Given the damage to the trees, I know we picked a somewhat protected spot, but I was still shocked that the trampoline didn't move at all! I may infer from this that the frame is significantly heavier than previous trampolines we and our neighbors have had. Although I had never assembled a trampoline before, my husband and children had done so a few times, so I knew how to do it. I also found this trampoline to be fairly simple to put together. It took around two and a half hours for me and my 5 boys (ages 6 to 15) to put it together. A few mistakes were made, such as failing to check that the net covered all of the hooks before fastening the springs and installing the bars upside down. LOL, but within three hours of opening the box, my kids were still bouncing on it! Additionally, compared to the conventional round trampoline, this RECTANGULAR SHAPE trampoline is SO MUCH BETTER AND SAFER. Because of the placement of the springs and the way the mat pulls, it is harder to "steal another bounce" and the children can jump on opposing ends at various tempos without interfering with one another. If someone jumps vigorously in the center of a circular trampoline, everyone else jumping or sitting toward the edge is immediately thrown into the center, increasing the likelihood of accidents. Everything about it appears to be carefully thought out and crafted of high-quality materials.ADVANCE: 8/19/19 This trampoline is still in good shape after a year of use, a cross-country move, and reassembly. The mat has been extensively used everyday by my own children and neighborhood friends, yet it is still nice and crisp and shows no signs of wear.The only drawback was the poor quality of the pad; the backside is made of cheap loose-weave plastic that looks like old sugar sack fabric, and the thread used to sew the two together wasn't sun resistant, so it started to rot and pop about six months after we bought it, and after ten months, it was falling apart as soon as it came off the trampoline.If the trampoline had any other wear, I might have taken away a star for the mat failure, but there is none.The kids genuinely only touched the mat just in front of the net opening because of how tightly the net fits against the mat, so it's not a big concern.

The only significant fault I could see is why I took away one star from an otherwise really amazing trampoline.The net is practically attached to the leaping surface by sliding the tabs through 20 to 30 holes during installation. This is followed by the springs and everything else. It's crucial that you do this step perfectly; otherwise, you'll have to start over after undoing all of your previous work. Definitely crucial.So, I did things the right way, I thought, at least. When my trampoline was almost finished, I discovered that a mistake had been made. Was that, however, my fault? The net was sent "inside out," which was a shipping error. Although it appears impossible to imagine and would have been absolutely evident, it is not at all obvious. Imagine a sock that has been turned inside out, yet there isn't a noticeable difference in the color or texture. How could you possibly be sure?I laid down the net, set the slots in place, and started assembling. It's all just a big mess of net at that point, and you have no idea what you're actually seeing.Are there any specific instructions like "make sure the net is right side out," "the safety label should face out," etc. in the instructions? NOPE. Not even one word. Later, I carefully read the directions to see what I might have missed. Nothing. They therefore supplied me a product that was designed for me to fail and provided no warning. Ouch.Did I truly take everything apart to step 1 and restart? Nope. Too much work (I'd say it took me and a friend approximately 60–90 minutes to assemble). I wasn't planning to spend more than twice as much time. The net is physically attached to the tops of the poles backwards, so of course I could see it was the wrong way around. To install them, I had to sort of twist them around, which felt strange obviously. The safety label was then facing inward as opposed to outward, which caught my attention. Additionally, the safety snap clips over the zipper door were on the inside, making them very easy for jumpers to run into. Ugh. As a result, I just cut the safety straps from the net, and the twisted connection of the net to the poles is undetectable (just inconvenient, not faulty). The label is on the inside, which makes my error only apparent when the safety straps are removed. But my kids don't seem to mind.There you have it. The youngsters enjoy this fun trampoline. With the exception of this one minor, major gotcha, assembly was actually quite well. Beware. Before you begin, confirm that your net is correctly aligned.

The best item I've ever bought for my kids is unquestionably this. Due to the constant rain where we live, we decided to set it up indoors in kids playroom. My children are 5 and nearly 2. They adore jumping and playing so much. Because it is low to the ground, my daughter can enter and exit on her own. My sanity has been preserved by this on gloomy days! The ideal size for small children is this. Four kids can jump at once without being on top of one another, and occasionally I even jump with them. It's a very good product. We've had it for seven months now, and there are no holes, snags, or tears anywhere. Despite extensive daily use, it remains in like-new condition. My husband had no problems setting up, which took him about an hour. Buy it! Your children will adore it!

The 48-inch round trampoline with enclosure is the subject of this review.This was the first trampoline we had ever bought. Despite being used by children from 1 1/2 to 9 years old, it was purchased with our 1-1/2-year-old son in mind. From November 2014 to June 2016, it took place. The styrofoam covers for the metal bars and the netting both tore. Despite the tears, the trampoline could still be used, but we chose to move on to a bigger size instead. I was happy with how long we were able to use it for before having to replace it, considering how much the item cost, how much use it received, and how much abuse it endured.It took a long to put this trampoline together. I can't really give a certain time range because I gave up and walked away from it multiple times. After struggling and crying my way through putting everything together, I realized it would have been wiser for me to visit YouTube. To describe the assembly process, there are YouTube videos. I advise anyone with a quick temper to look into one of those before getting started.This can be put together using the given equipment, but I found that a power drill makes things go more quickly.Your youngsters will attempt to pack in together to jump as soon as this bad boy is assembled. It supported the weight of my three children, who ranged in age from 1 1/2 to 10 1/2, although the recommended and safe upper limit for use is 100 lbs. Because none of them had any room to move, it wasn't all that enjoyable for the three of them to be there.This trampoline is best used by 1 person at a time, but it can also easily hold up to 2 kids that weigh no more than 100 lbs. combined. It worked nicely when I had two 2-year-olds in it at once. Although my 8 1/2-year-old son, who is little, could bounce on it just fine, he didn't find it really enjoyable.The bar that wraps around the internal perimeter of the trampoline netting will be useful for kids who are still practicing their balance. A child can hang onto the bar while jumping without the trampoline toppling over thanks to the bar's strong construction. While bouncing, kids can be tempted to grab onto the netting, however I would advise against this because the netting will tear if enough pressure is exerted. It has torn when larger kids grab onto it for balance while leaping up and down, but never when the kids fall into the sides.Bungee cords are used in place of springs on this trampoline. Without springs, you won't suffer pinched fingers or toes, but you'll also give up some of the bounce you'd receive with a regular trampoline. Our child was in mind when we purchased this trampoline, therefore we believe the bungee ropes were a better option for us. We would undoubtedly search for a trampoline with springs if we were looking for our tween and teenager.On the trampoline, our kid has thrown himself about a lot without getting hurt. I believe the styrofoam covers on top of the metal bars offer sufficient padding to stave off the sting that would result from slamming into a bare metal bar.We found the 48inch's tiny footprint to be the ideal size because we purchased our trampoline to be used indoors. Our second trampoline purchase was the 60-inch Skywalker trampoline, which, while better for older children and families with several children, is not ideal for use in a child's room. The 48 inch (this specific trampoline) fit into my son's bedroom without any trouble. If you have to choose between the two, I would suggest that the 48-inch was more suited for only one tiny child than for two small children (I would say 5 and under). I would recommend that the 60inch is a better option for you if you plan to utilize this with numerous kids or for kids aged 5 and up. And even though I like the 48inch's smaller size, the 60inch is still usable indoors.To compare the sizes of the Skywalker 48-inch round trampoline and the Skywalker 60-inch round trampoline, I've included a picture. My three-year-old and ten-year-old sons are shown in the photo.

My kids absolutely adore this buy, which is excellent.The trampoline is quite well crafted and really quite simple to put together. Anyone should definitely consider making this purchase; it is definitely worth owning. For $400 and change, a 16-foot-diameter circular trampoline? You simply can't beat it for the money! We are VERY happy.However, there is always potential for improvement in any product, therefore these are my criticisms of this one:1) Despite the legs appearing to be symmetrical, the instructions fail to mention that it is crucial to face the legs correctly in order for the screw holes to line up. Even so, it's simple enough to align the screw holes by simply rotating the legs in the right direction.2) In relation to the instructions once again, when I got to the part where I had to attach the rods that hold the safety net to the trampoline's legs, the directions were not very clear as to where and how they were to be attached to the rest of the trampoline. The two holes in each leg match the two holes in each safety net rod, and it is sufficiently obvious from looking at the legs (rather than the instructions) that you must place plastic stand-offs between the legs and the rods, pass the bolt through the rod, the stand-off, and then the leg, place a washer on the back, and then tighten the nut. However, I didn't discover any that were too short to be used. There isn't a lot of bolt thread for the nut to screw into. When everything is placed correctly and tightened up as it should be, the product is strong and solid because all of the parts were of a sufficient size.3. The spring installation tool that comes with it is also inadequate; it broke (snapped in two) as I was installing the springs, so I had to make a replacement out of some metal rod that was lying around my garage. I heated the rod with a torch to make it bendable enough to grasp the springs. Once I accomplished so, I had no trouble installing the springs.Would I suggest this item? ABSOLUTELY!
