I placed an order for some full-custom Riedell boots, the Solaris-foundation, model's last year. I wanted the laces to match my boots, and I chose the colors of my skates to reflect different family members. Up until that point, I alternated between the silver, purple, and teal spark laces. I knew I wanted to have these when I saw that this hue was out because they match nicely. They not only have great color, but they also last quite well. To hold your boot more snugly around your ankle, you can tie your laces through a nylon strap in the Solaris boot. Although there was a lot of friction between the strap and the laces, I was concerned they would break, but I haven't had any issues with it in over a year. I skate about 10 hours a week and travel the world with my skates, therefore I consider this to be quite durable. These laces ROCK!

I primarily skate in skate parks and on trails when I roller skate. This is based on indoor rink skating and trails because I don't do and never have played roller derby.These laces are excellent. The color is as brilliant and metallic as described, and the laces are thick and sturdy, holding up amazingly well. The suede has a lot of give, especially when it extends, so these laces tighten and grip much better than the stock laces that came with my Moxi skates, which is wonderful.The 108 laces I got for my size 7 Moxi boot fit well through the eyelets, wrapped once around the top of the boot, and were long enough to tie. These laces were purchased to swap out the regular white ones on my ice skates. They definitely capture the eye and distinguish the skates. My women's size 8 ice skates certainly needed an 84" lace, but the 72" one also fits perfectly.Even if I let go of the laces halfway through lacing, the laces are quite firm and won't slip through the holes until you tighten them, which makes lacing my skates tightly much easier.Definitely suggest these for their sturdiness and fashion.

I used these laces to glitter up a pair of Riedell Diva quads, and they look great! Due to the metallic substance they are composed of, laces are stiffer, but this only serves to make them easier to knot. No issues with skate boots' colors transferring to the laces. I chose to invest in the waxed laces in the hopes of a little more longevity after my original set of laces snapped (torn through by frequent toe-dragging). The laces are holding up well to regular usage and don't display any indications of fraying, thus these have met all of my needs. I can envision getting another set from Derby Laces when these do, inevitably, wear out.Additionally, these laces are wider, which is a pleasant surprise for me. I just got mine and put on my skates. Note a couple things. There are two laces, first. Since I couldn't tell and wasn't sure, I bought one in the hopes that there would also be two, which they were. Right now, I only needed one. Second, they appear to be of decent quality and resemble my present ones quite a bit. I hope they were the same because my current ones endured for a very long time. Three, I should have double-checked the length a little bit because these were best at closer to 88 inches. They are decently pulled tight for once, and they barely fit tied entirely, but I believe I will need to bring them through one set of holes each time before putting my foot inside the boot. In most cases, I have to relax quite a bit to fit my foot in, and as a result, the laces reach the very last holes. These will function, but a little more time would have been preferable. My most recent ones lasted a lot longer since I could simply tie a knot and keep using them after they broke.

Replace the laces with these in a pair of Moxi skates. amazing appearance The color looks fantastic with many various skate colors and varies with the light. Due to the metallic substance, laces are quite stiff, but this is also a benefit as it seems to assist them stay tied. As an insert in the box they arrived in heats about, there have been no issues with any of the lace coloring rubbing off into the skates. The laces also included a cool brand label within the packaging as an added bonus!
There are a few ways you can lace skates to help with toe pain. One way is to lace them loosely, so that your toes have room to move and wiggle. You can also try lacing them from the bottom up, so that the laces are not pulling on your toes as much.
