We are devoted to this. I have a 3 year old girl and a 5 year old son who are both average-sized. At first, I had some worries that the water table might be too low to the ground, causing my kids to stoop down or injure their knees while playing. The students devised inventive solutions to solve the problem.One person could assemble it, but two people made quick work of it. It's really well made, and neither the material nor the smell of chemicals give it away as being cheap.One reviewer complained that the top part of the rain runs out too quickly, but we didn't find that to be a problem. I can understand why a young child who uses this would want it to rain all the time because it's so cool:)In the end, we couldn't be more pleased with this water table.

I just sat down to put everything together after we received it today. Normally, being seven months pregnant makes it difficult for me to construct anything. LOL I decided to attempt and build it, and it was quite simple (I just have my hubby do it). It only took a few minutes. Someone mentioned that a Phillips screwdriver is required for assembly. This is untrue. Nothing requires screws; everything just clicks into place. After being combined for a while without any water, my kids played with it in my living room. They will be quite happy when we bring it outdoors and add water tomorrow. The ease with which some of the parts, like the funnel device, can be removed is my only criticism. However, we once had a $90.00 water table that accomplished the same task.

We enjoy playing with water tables, and I didn't want that to stop when my kid turned 6. It's awful that so many water tables are designed exclusively for children under the age of four. When I saw this table, I knew my 6-year-old would adore it. She is a unicorn fan! She's around normal height, and I appreciate that this piece was larger. She is also adept at teaching the bottom basin while seated on the ground. I also purchased some unicorn squirt figures from Amazon, and they are perfect for this. They are also a much better size for her favorite sling/catapult. I wish businesses would acknowledge that older children enjoy playing in the water just as much as younger children do. We adore the fact that we can utilize this underneath our porch on rainy days!

It required more assembly than I anticipated, but the end product is more durable and can be stored more conveniently if it is disassembled. Snaps like the ones on many of these toys are exceedingly challenging to disengage. I want a drain in the sand side so that it may be utilized with water or drained. The kids combine the sand and water right away, therefore it would be helpful to drain the water from the sand side. If necessary, you can use a bucket to collect some sand as you drain the water side. It carries around 3 pounds of sand, yet the only size of play sand available at Home Depot is a 50-pound bag. I'm thinking of making kinetic sand by combining some of it with cornstarch.

To avoid flooding my patio, I capture my in a bucket and use it to water the plants.There are a few things missing from the picture that are included with the table. The purple and yellow fish and the design on the lily pad have both been altered. When water is put down the slide, the Lilly pad does not spin as I had anticipated.Keep an eye out for the critter launcher. It's incredibly simple to fire objects out of the launcher at high speeds and with great force (even at kid-level).The fishing rod is adorable; although difficult to do, it is possible to catch fish. Although the reel generates a clicking sound, the string is not actually wound up. only for decoration.The legs might use some more support. When you shift the table, they frequently twist. On concrete it works just well, however on uneven surfaces like grass it might not. But it's simple to align them.

I looked around for three days at local shops looking for the table that would work best for my soon-to-be 3-year-old, reading reviews, checking out various websites, and other things. I'm very happy we chose this table. This winter, we intend to bring it inside and use it as a sensory table. Currently, we simply use both sides for water. She can reach all sides without having to stoop, which makes the height ideal. When her two cousins, ages 3 and 6, visit, they can all play together without running into one another because the space is big enough. We have a big tree in our backyard, so I wasn't sure we'd use the umbrella, but it has come in helpful the few times we've relocated the table to various spots without shade. The table is quite solid and has so far caused us no problems. The legs screwing in rather than popping in as on other tables is something I enjoy. Once fastened, the lid is quite secure and won't blow off even in heavy winds. For anyone searching for a table that can be used indoors or outside throughout the year, I heartily recommend this one.

Okay, what a fantastic table! Now, with a few adjustments—you listening, Amazon—it could be absolutely fantastic, but I'm still giving it five stars. First, when it comes to your door, you ought to pause for a moment in silence to show gratitude to the engineer behind the packaging. Styrofoam is used to line it, which is a necessary evil, but the clever individual who came up with the idea to cover each piece of styrofoam in plastic. So, surprise, there is no cheap, inferior styrofoam degrading and adhering to you or any package! Holla! There is no particle board; this is also true wood. Additionally, the green top is made of solid 1/2 inch wood. It is quite durable. This was purchased for a Lego table, and it is excellent. Assembly is simpler than Ikea's. Each piece is properly marked, so you won't have to spend time examining the directions' illustrations to determine if you have the right ones. This may be assembled in 20 minutes and unpacked in roughly 5 minutes. very simple The drawers could be bigger, like significantly bigger, which is where this might be improved. The metal screw things on the drawers don't actually line up flat like they do on Ikea furniture, which is my other criticism. Still, it's hardly a deal-breaker. Perhaps it will include little plastic or rubber circles to conceal the screw holes for aesthetic purposes. But if you're looking for a play table, stop right there. The cost is reasonable, and the quality is superb. I won't even think about using another brand.

I have two children who are in preschool. They enjoy playing with this the most outside. This has been here for a while. Here are some general notes I made about it:1 Overall, it has endured quite well, and I have taken good care of it. After every usage, it is emptied, and at night and during the winter, it is placed in the garage.2. My youngest child was able to play with it by the time she was 6 or 7 months old, as soon as she was able to stand by herself. She enjoyed being able to hold her toys and splash her hands in the water at the time. They enjoyed throwing balls down the center tube once they could reach (between 1.5 and 2 years old).3. Assembling it was not too difficult. It took about 15 minutes, maybe a bit longer. But there is no way to collapse or store this, and it is difficult to disassemble.4. Even at the age of 4, my daughters still enjoy using this to pretend to mix and cook, splash water, and move balls around. It's also excellent to use for imaginative pursuits like ice cube experiments and blending colored water.5. If the bottom becomes dirty, I have to clean all the way around the bumps, thus I wish it didn't have the texture it does. Overall, though, cleaning is not too difficult.6. The included balls are mainly useless. Due to their squirty nature, you must be cautious of mildew accumulation. That, in my opinion, was an unneeded function. Nevertheless, some of them are quite rigid and challenging to squeeze in order to full up (even for me), while others are not. My kids were incredibly bewildered and aggravated by these variances.7. The side crank that holds balls or, if turned vigorously enough, sprays water out is entertaining and appealing to children. The object that resembles a water wheel turned upside down doesn't appear to be very functional, and I thought it could have been developed into a more inventive or beneficial element.8. The center tube is just broad enough for the balls to fit down it. I've repeatedly had the girls drop various objects inside—rocks, animal squirters, etc.—and they get stuck. I was able to get everything with the help of my small hands and some perseverance. It can be unscrewed to open, however if something is trapped in the middle of the tube, it may be difficult to reach it.9. You can't expect more for the price. Overall, we received ten times the value of our investment. I enjoyed it so much that I bought it for others as gifts. I'd most certainly purchase this again. Be careful; although I've seen this for about $35 less on other websites, occasionally Amazon drops its pricing as well.10. Water does leak from the center, but considering how many kids are playing there, I don't think this is a huge concern.11. In an effort to reach the top, my kids have clung to and tugged on the central tube. Although it hasn't broken or cracked, I could see how a problem would arise if the child handled it with extreme roughness.For size comparisons, I've added photos of my 7-month-old and an 18-month-old next to it.

UPDATE: We recently experienced some extremely damaging storms, and when I opened the sandbox after the yard had dried out, there was water inside. My husband quickly fixed the situation by drilling a few tiny holes in the bottom, but this box had been functioning flawlessly prior to those storms, holding water and/or drying out between rainstorms.ORIGINAL:My one-year-old kid, my daughter who is almost three, and her buddy who is almost five all like this. Even though I had to "shave" the plastic inside one of the leg holes because it was deformed since it was so warped, it wasn't a big deal because I had a boxcutter close by. It drains off rapidly after a rainstorm and I had no trouble using a 50-pound bag of sand. It comes with some adorable accessories to get the kids playing, including 2 bear claws, a shovel, a bucket, and I can't remember what else. All the provided toys fit inside the sandbox with the lid closed. And how adorable is it that the lid's top features a car track? I'm a grateful mother.
