My hair gets really dry from the chlorine in my pool, so I ordered this swim cap! My thick hair, which hangs above my hip and is 5"4" long, stood up beautifully in a bun because of my height. It was a little challenging to put on and yanked a little at my skull, but once it was on, everything went smoothly. The next day, when I put it on again, I used a small amount of leave-in conditioner and it felt much better (I didn't feel the tugging). After swimming, I did notice that my hair was wet in the areas closest to my forehead and the nape of my neck, but I didn't mind. High-quality caps worked well to keep hair dry. will keep ears dry, but earplugs are what I'd use. I bought it after developing "swimmer's ear." Just enough of the cap's bottom "rolled up" to make my ears visible (which might not be a problem for everyone - might just be my head). After getting in touch with the vendor, they offered 3 replacement goods. I chose one that didn't have this issue, therefore I stopped using the earplugs.

This is for my 10-year-old granddaughter, who competes on a weekly basis and spends typically three to four hours a day in the pool. She is quite particular and wants just solid black clothing with big straps. She usually wears a 28-30, but for the competition she requested a tighter fit. I decided to use the 28. The suit is her favourite.When I looked at the suit, I didn't notice any evidence of the logo coming off or the material being of poor quality, despite reading the reviews that claimed these things. This fits my 10-year-old and 12-year-old girls' heads appropriately and performs just as well as Speedo's adult swim caps have for me over the years. She can put it on by herself without ripping the cap because silicone is strong and flexible enough to do so. If your child needs a swim cap, I advise against even trying the latex varieties because they are particularly prone to tearing unless you master the proper technique for donning them. Additionally, latex is harder on your hair, similar to wearing a rubber band. Silicone is the ideal material because it is softer. My experience with Speedo's adult sizes has also been positive. They create a decent silicone cap. As long as you rinse the cap with cool water after you get out of the pool, the colors in any silicone caps I've owned generally don't fade or turn yellow. However, because silicone caps last so long, I once had a white silicone cap that started turning yellow after swimming with it five days a week for a year.(Just so you know, harsh critics: no swim cap in the world will keep your hair dry if you dive underwater.)

It lingered on my head, and most of my hair remained dry.Now that my hair is a few inches longer, this isn't at all effective. At the conclusion of a single 20-yard pool length, the cap starts to slip up off my head, and a tenth of a mile later, my hair is completely drenched.The material is of decent quality. This will not pull at your fine hair. After every use, I wash it from the inside out and dry it. But I frequently let my hair grow to 6 to 8 inches below my shoulder.
