Husqvarna 966674401 T25 Tap Trimmer Advance Head, Curved and Straight Shafts Review:

I have a small trimmer from the Echo brand that takes the tiny pieces of line that I would normally have to spend time cutting off of big spools, put a bunch in my pocket, and manually swap out in the trimmer head every ten minutes or so. Everything I wanted to trim took a very long time, so I could never complete it. Additionally, occasionally I would forget a few bits of trimmer line in my pocket, which would lead to their melting in the dryer and spoil my day.I can trim as much as I want without ever having to stop thanks to this new trimmer head, which installed in approximately 5 minutes. A tap on the ground while the trimmer is operating will feed extra line as needed. It takes around 12 feet of line at a time and is simple to fill. I can repeatedly trim around mailboxes, trees, rocks, poles, etc. in my entire yard (1 acre) without unloading more line. This trimmer head will improve your yard-care experience if your trimmer requires you to feed it little pieces of line.Get one right away.

TrimmerPlus AS720 34-Inch Extended Reach Aluminum Fixed Line Head for Attachment Capable String Trimmers, Polesaws, and Powerheads Boom Review:

This has been used and abused for a year since we first got it.Our hillside needed to be cleared since it was overgrown with poison ivy, wild roses, bread and butter vines, and blackberries. Approximately 100 feet by 30 feet, with a steep gradient. In 13 years, we have manually removed the hillside three times. The process takes weeks. This time, we considered renting goats, but we already had a crazy rescue dog. We went to SO many landscaping supply companies and tool rental businesses in search of a brush clearer that could handle our rocky hillside. After purchasing the trimmer, we decided to get this attachment because our spouse was so amazed with its power. Once activated, this turns into a plant-killing tool! In approximately a day, my husband and I cleared the entire slope! We transported MASSIVE truckloads' worth of brush and saplings to the landfill.YES! We removed more than a dozen 1-4 "He's a tree with saplings. The sawzall and an extension cord were already dragged down the hillside. Wearing eye protection is a MUST because this is NOT a toy. NO joke. Additionally, if you are pruning thorny vines, wear long pants because shorts will tear from the flying debris. In all honesty, at 5'2" "I'm too short to keep this machine at the proper height, and it's so heavy that using a saw blade would be pointless. It's too powerful for me to use. Which is terrible since I actually enjoy destroying the trash that invades my space. This is a dream come true for Spouse; he strolls down the base of the hill, sweeps the machine over the fresh growth, and our property requires no upkeep. It is totally worthwhile!

EGO STA1500 15-Inch String Trimmer Attachment 56-Volt Lithium-ion Power Head System Review:

I should disclose that I have a moderate level of commitment to the EGO ecosystem of lawn equipment. All EGO tools require the same exorbitantly expensive batteries, but once you've made the commitment, the additional cost of purchasing the bare equipment is little.A PH1400, a STA1500, and even a 2 Ah battery will cost you significantly more than highly regarded substitutes if you want a battery-powered string trimmer. Is it worth it, then? With the exception of an older leaf blower I had, all EGO tools—including the STA1500—are manufactured reasonably nicely. Along with evaluations of the EP7500 and PSA1000, I've posted a rather thorough PH1400 review in which I go into length about the fundamental drawback of this configuration. The motor being in the PH1400 should theoretically minimize the cost of the attachment, however there is a price to pay. The driveshaft weights a lot more than wires sending power down to a motor at the head, and the spline drive has a significant amount of mechanical inefficiency. The weight of the PH1400 STA1500 combo with the 5 Ah battery is comparable to my previous two gasoline string trimmers. If weight is important to you, use a lighter battery. The indexing mark for the keyed joint on the PH1400 and STA1500 is a STICKER, which I HATE! A raised or embossed marking would be better than a sticker, while paint would be adequate. Will the sticker still be on a LAWN TOOL that will be exposed to rain, brush, handling, etc. and costs enough that you should expect to use it for years?Even in areas of dense vegetation, trimming performance is good. I feel that the cutoff blade on the guard is a little bit too short because I've had to restart the trimmer a few times because the line had moved too far. Speaking of that, the STA1500 makes rewinding your line really simple. If, however, you have a lot of distance to travel, it is typically quicker to trim the excess line with the guard blade. I used roughly a quarter of a 5 Ah charge to trim my small (about an acre) piece of land. Although I don't particularly like the line spool, at least you don't want specialized trimming line spools. Although not among the best of the breed, the improvement is about average for trimmers.Note: The driveshaft concept used by the PH1400 has the unintended consequence that an EP7500 can be used with the STA1500. Even though there aren't many situations where this combination would be useful, I was able to trim vines coming off of a 12 foot trellis with success. With the exception of the extra weight and the altered balance, it functions well (if a bit unwieldy). This trimmer, the STA1500 PH1400, works well. It's not as effective (in certain aspects) as a trimmer designed specifically for trimming. However, this is a fantastic option if you already own a PH1400 and battery. Recommendation is conditional.

Renegade Blade 2pk-8"-20t/56t Combo Pack - (1) 20 Teeth Blue Hawk (1) 56 Teeth red Razor - Hybrid Pack GS1 Barcoded Shelf Hanging Blister Pack- Carbide Brush Cutter Blades, 203mm Dia. Review:

It's hard to think that Project Farm on YouTube led me to these blades. I've been using these on my Stihl FS240, and I'm amazed at how quickly and easily you can chop tree branches and woody brush. Previously, I completed similar task using a Stihl FS460 forestry trimmer and a Stihl blade that wasn't quite as effective. The FS460 is a beast that takes a lot of effort to move around a farm. The FS240 with these blades is the ideal tool because I have some areas around rocks where those mowers can't go, whereas I usually grind up woody brush with a 12' flail mower with hammers or batwing mower.

Echo 99944200601 Brushcutter Attachment Review:

This brush cutter has filled the gap left by my line feeder. I took the risk for this since I grew tired of continually having to alter my line because of thicker weeds up here in the Texas Panhandle, and I'm very pleased I did. It not only effortlessly removed tougher weeds and difficult brush, but it also removed juniper spreader limbs that were 1 to 1.5 inches thick and had outgrown my chain link fence. I adore this item and if I had known about it years ago, I would have bought it. Give the line fed the boot and do yourself a favor.

CZS Outdoor Trimmer Head Brush Cutter Blade 65Mn Lawn Mower Head Accessories 6 Steel Razor Trimmer Replacement with Blade Sharpener(Adapter Kits not Included) Review:

This blade was used by my husband to repair our weed wacker. It arrived neatly and was simple to install. The item was universal and fit the majority of weed wacker equipment, and the instructions were simple to read and understand. He is happy that the tool was mended swiftly and simply by following the directions. The blade met the specifications and was competitively priced.

Trimmer Head 6 Steel,Garden Tool Brush Cutter Cutting Head Blade 65Mn Lawn Mower Head Accessories Lawn Mower Grass Weed Eater Tool Review:

The included nut is far too large to be of any use. Fortunately, I was able to remove the but from the other head—the one with the string—and it now functions perfectly. This device can cut through any weed, but I also believe that it is extremely dangerous and raises the stakes when weedwhacking. While it will sting if you hit your leg, your dog, or anything else with a weed whacker, you will recover, I believe that clipping something with this will result in a trip to the hospital.

How do I get more line out of my string trimmer?

If your string trimmer line is running out too quickly, there are a few things you can do to make it last longer. First, try a different type of line. Is brush cutter better than line trimmer?

There are a few key differences between brush cutters and line trimmers that might make one or the other a better choice for your needs. Brush cutters tend to be larger and more powerful than line trimmers, making them better suited for thicker growth and tougher vegetation. They also typically have a metal cutting blade, while line trimmers use a nylon line. This makes brush cutters more effective at cutting through thick brush and vines, but also means they can be more dangerous to operate. Line trimmers, on the other hand, are typically smaller and lighter, making them easier to maneuver

Most trimmers come with some type of guard, which is there for a reason. The guard helps to protect you from the blade, and it also helps to keep the blade from getting dull too quickly. If you are going to be trimming a lot of hair, then you may want to consider getting a trimmer with a guard.

Is trimming pubic hair better than shaving?
