So far, I love these covers! They are well-made, and some are especially cozy for sitting because to the padding. They do have an anti-slip pad that fits underneath the cover, and it looks like it keeps the chairs firmly in place. I can't speak too much about the durability because I don't know how they'll hold up over time, but I assume that it won't be an issue because of the craftsmanship. The 12" coverings I ordered fit me well.

At my kitchen island, I have three stools that are still in decent condition, however the stool covers (cloth) are in terrible condition. My children were evidently wiping their hands on the fabric while they sat there (gross). Naturally, those covers eventually appeared soiled and were difficult to wipe or clean. This is an excellent, inexpensive cover to replace the worn-out vinyl cover on my guitar stool. Nearly 20 years old, my stool's vinyl cover had seen better days. For the cost and appearance, these were difficult to find. The cushioning fits snugly and comfortably. The pads provide a fantastic feel and comfort thanks to the foam, which is full, even, and akin to memory foam. These cushions go on my $12.99 foldable counter stools from Walmart that I use as extra sitting. My flat-seat stools are more cozy and appear to be significantly more expensive. Why does Amazon ask you to review a new product's durability? I wanted something to make my lesson in a woodshop, where everyone sits on wooden stools, more comfortable. This one and another that had a side panel sewed into it were the two that I really ordered. However, the foam inside was terrible and offered little padding. This one uses a non-foam material and may not look as attractive, but it is considerably more effective. I only have to remember to take it off when I leave because the connection makes it so quick to put on when I get there. I take it with me, so that serves as a reminder for me.
If you have a wooden stool that needs a cushion, there are a few things you can do to attach the cushion. One option is to use velcro.
