This wetsuit is AMAZING! I also detest wetsuits. Since I surf rather than run triathlons, I have different needs, but this exactly satisfies them. In a standard wetsuit, I can't handle the amount of rubber on my arms. Stretching the rubber results in significant paddle power loss. And the more recent "chest zip" suits To get on and off is brutal. It's a fantastic thing. I've been in somewhat chilly waters between 62 and 64. Yes, my arms do get a little chilly, but my body temperature never drops below normal. It's amazing how hot the dark skin gets in the sun. Last time, I stayed out for nearly an hour. I believe that this would be suitable down to 60F for more than an hour. I don't want to surf when it's colder than that, to be honest. So from now on, this will essentially be my go-to outfit.Another benefit is that you will freeze on the bike home if you bike or ride a moped to the beach while wearing a regular wetsuit. Unlike typical surfing wetsuits, which only use the windproof "skin" on the chest and rear panel, this wetsuit is composed entirely of it. I bought this to bring on a trip in December where I wanted to go scuba diving. I don't use a complete wetsuit when I dive in the Caribbean; instead, I wear rash guard leggings and a shirt. Since I was diving in December, I wanted to include this dive vest to help keep my core warm. I typically wear a women's size 10 or 12. I purchased both the size 12 and size 14 after reading the reviews to make sure I would have it in time. The size 14 fit perfectly, but the size 12 was constricting. Divers are aware that a snug fit keeps the water warm and inside your suit. Underwater, it will also fit perfectly. I ultimately decided to bring the size 12 with me, and it was perfect underwater. This vest made me very delighted, especially considering how cheap it was in comparison to vests from well-known brands. If you're on the fence, this vest is well-made, expertly stitched, and performed admirably during my dive. I'll have to wait a year to see how the vest is doing.

I purchased this vest and a pair of 1.5mm shorts to wear in Florida during the winter. My capacity to stay in the pool with my daughter is constrained, even if she is unaffected by the chilly water. The vest and shorts made it comfortable to spend time together in the chilly water. Neoprene material is adequately covered by the sturdy zipper to prevent skin discomfort.Fit: The vest I bought is a medium. While the vest fit well around the breast, the waist area was a little slack. I have a 38" breast, 30" waist, and 5'4" height. This, in my opinion, would be the perfect fit for a person with a 32-33" waist. I had a tailor take in the waist area by 1" on each side to increase the fit and the vest's insulation capabilities; this made it snug and kept me warm.

I recently received my farmer johns, and I'm pleased with how quickly they arrived and how the material feels. They are very cozy, and the workmanship is superb for the price.I'm a short, stocky woman. I am 185 pounds and 5 feet 1 inches tall. I bring a 14P blazer and Junior 15 pants. I require a tall boot with a medium calf. I have a slightly wide waist and a large bust. Since I NEVER expect anything to fit me, I won't deduct any points for fit. I purchased a men's XL based SOLELY on my waist and breast measurements, and I would have chosen the XLS if it had been available on Amazon. The legs are obviously long for me. Since I sail a Hobie Cat, I don't mind if there is a little extra protection around the ankles and shins. No problem, I just cuffed them over my ankle bones. The suit is cut quite generously through the knee and calf, as you can tell by the crinkling around the knees in the image.According to reports I read, the torso is fairly short. Sure, it is. It fits me absolutely fine. The sizing is somewhat inventive. Lol. I would advise trying the Tall sizes first if you are a normal-sized person and not a bit short like myself. On the Neosport website, they are visible.I'll now explain why I gave the suit a star. The suit REALLY needs BOTH shoulders to be able to open and adjust, and that is most important. This is unquestionably THE review killer. It's very challenging to move it up and down and get all the parts sliding into the device as they should. Before even THINKING about the chest, if you could untie both shoulders, flip it over, and get the upper thigh area comfortable... It earns five stars from me. I believe it will assist if I put on a base layer underneath it that provides greater slip. However, considering the extra production expense of a further twelve inches of velcro material... I'm hoping they'll talk about this later. It significantly reduces how simple it is to put on the outfit. I'm having my tailor fix it. I'm hoping he enjoys working with neoprene more than the previous bridesmaid dress I gave him!The knee armor is thin. They have a slight cheesiness. I would have preferred a cordura or rubber patch that was stitched on to prevent abrasion there. Whatever. I won't cry for the quick basic shipping and sixty dollars. :)

The sizing is quite odd; a 2x in men's size turned out to fit the SAME as my size 14 women's, therefore this wetsuit is SMALL for a men's XXL. However, it was not purchased for me; it was purchased for my dad. I tried it on after determining that it would not fit my dad and chose to retain it because it is a little more flexible and comfy than my own wetsuit. For any female readers, it will therefore fit a size 14–16 woman snugly and pleasantly.

To add to my collection of wetsuits for swimming in the ocean, I got this one. In Ventura, California, when the water temperature rises above 60, I normally go ocean swimming a few times a week. I'm a mediocre swimmer who prefers to train for workouts over competitions. With the masters group, go swimming frequently all year. Typically, a group of friends may swim 1.5 to 2.5 kilometers in the ocean. Some people don't use wetsuits. Some people, like me, would rather do while they are comfortable. This wetsuit caught my eye because it was sleeveless and appeared reasonably priced at $1.30 for what I needed it for. I wear a 2/3 in a long-sleeved Xterra Volt. My Rip Curl LS is more suited for 3/4-length surfing. This Tyr wetsuit arrived on schedule with Prime and was very well packed. I ordered an XL because I generally wear an XL in all wetsuits. I therefore ordered the 7mm of this model because I dislike full suits because I like having my arms free. It was great, but it made me float so badly that I had to take it off to freedive because otherwise I would have had to swim upside down in the cave in order to essentially crawl on the cave roof. I made the decision to receive my 3mm and return it. Because of my prior experience, I now know that this is a positive thing. I currently weigh 216 pounds and am 5'10". suit size 43 regular. I ordered the XXL because I have a 38 waist, and it fits perfectly. Looking forward to using this item on the water. Will provide an update after one or two dives.

I bought a whole set of Neosport wetsuit gear to wear when surf fishing, so I'll evaluate the items collectively for comfort, fit, and performance under these circumstances. When I go fishing in the winter, I prefer to go out in the choppy surf, and waders can be hazardous because they can swell.I have no affiliation with the business; I simply purchased the bottoms first, liked them, and chose to purchase a matched set.***FIT***Me: I weigh 165 pounds. and am 5 foot 7 inches tall. I require a 16 1/4 inch shirt for my neck even though my chest is 42 inches wide and I wear pants with a 30 inch inseam and waist. I've been intermittently lifting weights for many years, so my arms and legs are a bit big. Depending on the brand and fit, I need a 9.5 or 10 wide.I purchased an extra large hood, and it fits perfectly. Neoprene 7/5mm Vented Bib Hood. Simply use the sizing chart and your head measurement. The neck is well-fitting and does not feel restricted. Your face naturally curls inward at the temples, so there is a small gap there, but I don't think this can be avoided.I chose a large 5mm neoprene Waterman wetsuit jacket for a few reasons. (1) The biceps and shoulders of a medium in a different brand were excessively tight. Although I am aware that wetsuits are meant to be rather snug, this was uncomfortable. (2) My shoulders hurt, and I'm not as flexible as I once was. I want to be able to easily and independently take this jacket off and on. I want to be able to take it off if I get hot and put it back on if I get chilly because I'm using this for surf fishing rather than diving. The shoulder, chest, and leg portions all fit perfectly. I wear a belt to hold it in place because the belly area is obviously baggy. Although the wrists are a little slack and clearly let water in, the arms fit well. In general, I am a large, but a medium at the waist and wrists. I've worn this off and on at the beach several times without experiencing any discomfort, so I made the perfect decision. Without a cowl or hood, the neck opening will undoubtedly let in a lot of water.Medium in 5mm neoprene Waterman John wetsuit. It fits me perfectly, but I can see how tall people or those with lengthy torsos could need to get a size larger. The reviews are accurate; they are extensive. 8 is comfortable and pairs beautifully with my boots.***QUALITY***For the most part, so far, so good. The suit has been worn to the beach multiple times without incident. Even when I walk on concrete in my boots, they appear OK. I routinely sit or kneel on the beach in spite of the tiny, pointy shells everywhere, but my knees and elbows still appear to be brand-new. When I come home, I thoroughly rinse the entire outfit with new water and hang everything up to dry. I've sweated a little bit, but there is no stench at all.***COMFORT***For what it is, not terrible. I move around a lot if the fishing is fantastic, and I sit if the fishing is slow. No blisters, chaffing, etc. To protect my skin, I do wear a long sleeve rash guard and extra long boxer briefs underneath the suit. I've been in the suit for the longest at 8 hours, and even though I was ready to go and take a shower, I felt fine. The least comfortable part is the hood. It's quite difficult to eat, drink, or speak while wearing it over your chin, but that's how it is and it wouldn't function if it were any looser. I often remove it from around my neck every so often to take a break and replace it when I start to feel too cold.***WARMTH***Quantifying this is challenging. I'm from Florida, but I have a cool disposition. Our water can go down to 55 degrees in the winter, but the air will be in the 40s. Until the wind picked up, I felt comfortable on a day when the air temperature was 42 degrees and the water temperature was 62 degrees. My feet, hands, and face got cold due to winds of 10-15 knots, but everything else was fine. Because the lake blocks the wind, I was actually more effective there. I have 7mm on my head, 10mm on my upper thighs and torso, 5mm on my arms and legs, 3mm on my hands, and 9mm on my feet with the entire suit. I'll only wear my bottoms and a waterproof jacket when the air temperature is in the 60s. Although it may seem absurd to those in the north, Floridians are quite sensitive to the cold:-).***FUNCTIONALITY***For me, it functions. You will get wet, as the name suggests, but I don't mind. I also got wet while trying on waders, dry clothes, etc., but I remained cold. Although water enters through certain regions and spreads to others, you are not wet either. Only my feet get wet if I enter up to my chest and don't remain too long. I can cast easily because of the large top's space. I had no trouble cutting bait, using snap swivels, or casting my normal reels while wearing the 3mm gloves. However, I don't use spinning rods, therefore I wouldn't be able to tie knots. I simply go in and let water in to cool off if I start to get hot.However, one benefit much trumps the others. All year long, tourists visit the beaches of Florida. You're 15 minutes from the restrooms and have all your equipment ready. ***OVERALL***

I'm happy with the purchase I made for my first sprint triathlon. It was a fantastic fit. I purchased M/L because I am a tall, trim 5'8" and weigh about 140 lbs. To get the crotch in the ideal position, I had to slightly lift it up my calves. However, it was great. It increased my buoyancy, kept me warm in 60 degree water (with the obvious exception of my arms), and was simple to put on and take off. The absence of an attachment point or method for the zipper cord is my sole complaint. Although I had it rolled up and secured with velcro, it occasionally came undone and wrapped around my armpit during my practice swims. I had also ordered the one with sleeves to try, but since the armpit area was so baggy, I chose the sleeveless one instead.
