These are things I adore. I converted to plastic tees years ago because I had a tendency to snap a wooden tee with every ball and I became tired of using 12 to 15 tees per round. Even those, though, were difficult since the ball wouldn't stay in place and I kept bending the tiny things on top that held the ball.That is fixed by the Martini Tees. I've been using them for a few months, playing many times a week, and I haven't broken one yet. The reason there are only 5 in a pack is due of this. These tiny items perfectly cup the underside of my balls and keep them in place when I need them to. They are good at it and will keep doing it for as long as you want. I gave these a chance because I detested using a full-length tee on par-3 strokes because they ALWAYS broke. These will still break, but maybe once every two or three rounds, and generally just the back, not splitting in half. I prefer a good tee when I start my round. I've been wearing these tees for a while, and I adore them. I pick the top of the blue field as my drive height because it gives me a constant height and eliminates the need for guesswork. If I can't find a short broken tee on the ground, I tee them down to just below the cup for irons. Despite being made of wood and not being invincible, they seem to hold up better than any other tee I've used. Usually, I can find them cheaper on Amazon than at any of the local golf shops. Purchasing these is a no-brainer because of the free shipping. I try to have one unopened bag of tees in the trunk for backup and one open bag in my golf bag. Wood is the only option for me because I don't like the way plastic tees click or feel.

I don't play golf; I got these for house repairs. When you have to drill a screw hole again, they are excellent for filling holes in wood.
