Two of these were purchased, one from each seller. The one I got from brother-smith swords was in excellent shape and arrived quite promptly. The leather had a wonderful gloss and was a lovely shade of black. Leather and black laces were also used. They were pretty long as well. Any size scabbard could be held in this device. really high-quality leather. The other one I bought from a different vendor had extremely bad leather die work and a shoe lace that was too short and difficult to thread through the eyes. The bronze or brass-colored metal beneath the silver rivets was becoming more and more visible. The shoe laces would need to be changed out if you wanted to utilize a larger sheath with this one. Despite the fact that they were both supposed to be selling the same thing, brother-smith swords' version was of far higher quality. I have no connection to either vendor; I'm just sharing my frank opinion after buying the identical thing from both of them. Both goods are functional, however I have to say that brother-item smith's quality and shipping time were significantly better. You can call him on his phone if you need to speak with him. I am very happy with the product and service I received from him. Hope this was useful.

To be clear, the scabbard is made of plastic rather than metal. But the paint on mine (I chose the blue and gold) is pretty neatly done and doesn't chip easily. I adore how the blade locks into the scabbard and stays there until I consciously remove it.My only complaint is that it didn't work as a letter opener, which was its claimed purpose. Given that the blade edge is so thick—roughly 1/16 inches—it functions more like a letter ripper "thick. It wouldn't cut butter, in my opinion. I'm still giving it four stars since I was able to get the blade sharp enough to cut packaging tape and paper after about 20 minutes on my belt sander. I could have made it much sharper with additional time, but I don't want a 7 "razor with two edges lying around. I now possess an extremely attractive, useful letter and package opener.

The blade matches my Calimacil LARP dirk perfectly and is really nicely built. Considering that it is made of foam, it seems fairly solid and is substantial. It feels realistic, almost as if you're really there facing the Night King, at 2.5–3 pounds, in my estimation. Additionally, the blade has a metallic gleam and is quite polished. The handle then appears to be extremely substantial. The wolf head is located at the pommel. It appears to be fierce and devoted, and pretty accurate!Anyway, whether it's for your LARP, Halloween, or cosplay, I heartily suggest this sword.

This bokken is rather good. It is skewed toward the blade, as others have mentioned, which is highly beneficial for striking motions and recovery. The texture is pleasant. It appears to be quite strong and resilient. Others have criticized the tsuba for not fitting snugly, however mine does. Excellent value for this item. It's too early to say how it will feel and function over time because it differs significantly from my prior wooden ones. The handle, which is an imitation wrapped handle made of polyester, is the only thing I have to complain about. Sharp polyester is not, however, ray skin. When utilized, this handle really cuts into the skin of your hands. I fixed the issue by wrapping it in two layers of duct tape, which detracts from its aesthetic appeal but makes it useable in a way that it wouldn't be otherwise. nevertheless, a strong weapon with a point that is razor-sharp and capable of causing harm. I'll place another order.

Although it appears that different retailers are charging varying prices for this sword, the comments all seem to make sense. I was pleasantly delighted by everything that other people found disappointing and that I had anticipated. I believe there are some scratches on the blade, but other than that, I thought it was robust. Although the blade is not sharpened, I believe I could kill a zombie with it. Likewise at a distance. The reach of this sucker. Nothing seems loose or to be rattling. The "leather" veneer on the blade's top looks nice, but it might not hold up with time. Your two hands will be required for the two-handed grip. The poor sheath is the only thing that makes up for it. Although it has some cheap "leather" and an edge to make it "useful," it is not actually usable. Forget about yanking the sword out of the sheath in a hurry. That is odd considering the sheath appears to be more than enough in size. I poured some leather oil on it, but there wasn't enough to cover the entire item because it gobbled it up like a horse drinking water. I don't even think I'll use the sheath. The sword, though, is quite good. I feel bad for the people who received the subpar ones.

Pros: It feels nice and looks great. This has a slight degree of flexibility yet is rigid enough to feel like a sword. Nice painting. Beautiful chrome finish. excellent length a good, sturdy handle. Although I don't abuse my swords too much, this would withstand some serious beating quite well. fantastic value This sword is just too hard to be a LARP sword.Cons: While not excessively so, the blade is quite wide. Although I would love it if the blade tapered further toward the point, I can see why it doesn't (safety). Just a personal preference, and it doesn't devalue the sword.Note: Of the four swords I buy from Sparkfoam, this is my favorite. I can hold this two-handed sword extremely comfortably even with my large hands. It was such a joy to rewatch the trilogy while holding this sword and the Medieval King sword (influenced by Anduril), which was Aragorn's ranger sword in The Lord of the Rings. I heartily urge any sword enthusiast to read this.
