They were quite effective. good color and consistency. They barely shed any hair at all. I choose black.My fingers got black as I worked with these. Washes off readily, however avoid touching other objects to avoid leaving a mark. Put on gloves. The worst part were my nails. I had a mechanic's appearance. If you're working on a quick project, there's no need to worry too much because I'm using a lot of these (around 20 to 30 yards).There have been reports of the adhesive clogging up sewing machines. It carries out. My answer was to attach them to a long black ribbon using fabric adhesive. After that, I stitched them on the ribbon. This completely avoided the glue.

For the most part, I was happy with these feathers. Excellent stitching and full feathers were used. Even after reducing the material to size, there was no shedding for me. I was showered with praise for how stunning they were. The feather colour transfer is the only thing I have to complain about. My hands were completely black from merely using these to work on a costume. Fortunately, the outfit was also black, but wash these before using.

One of these wasn't even close to being sufficient for me. In the end, I placed it atop my 11-foot Christmas tree. It's beautiful, but I later discovered that I could buy it from Joann's by the yard and tear it into strips to make it seem even nicer. I positioned it at the top of the tree, where no one can tell that it differs from the joann's version, so I probably wouldn't purchase it again. Instead, go to joanns (it looks better and you can customize the thickness to suit your tastes)!

Since I needed to utilize it for the fur/feather decoration on the hood of my jacket and as an accessory for a "sexy" version on the same day, I ultimately used these for my Overhaul cosplay. I'm thinking of adding some clips to the trim to make it easier to wear with other tops because it worked so well. I'm eager to wear it more and give otherwise basic clothing or underwear some quick drama!The only issue I have is that the tacky glue used makes it impossible to stitch through without damaging your machine or needle. I had to glue it together instead of sewing, which is what I would have preferred, in order to obtain a great thick covering of feathers. Apart than that, I'm incredibly pleased with this trim, and working with it was a breeze!
