Super Deal PRO 12" X 10" Digital Swing Away Heat Press Heat Transfer Sublimation Machine Review:

I am overjoyed with my buy. Instead of purchasing a machine, I had been using a no-holes iron that I had purchased for about $40 to make t-shirts for my friends and family. Ironically, I had to sew a shirt for a friend this morning, and even with my "special" iron and some Siser EasyWeed, it required numerous efforts and a lot of 10 second tries. I had to test this press as soon as it arrived this afternoon. In ONE TRY, it perfectly pressed a shirt. I was in awe!Although there was only a one page "manual," it was rather self explanatory. I just counted myself, but I'm not sure if it has a specific timer feature. This is a fantastic press, in my opinion, especially for people who perform low volume work.

INOVART Presto Foam Econo Pak Printing Plates Review:

I came upon this item after reading a printing tutorial online. Budgets for the classroom are quite limited (as they always are), and the block printing material we use is getting more and more expensive. Nevertheless, since printmaking is covered in the curriculum, I'm constantly seeking for inexpensive ways to do tasks wherever possible. So, the following are my findings: (1) Compared to the "easy cut" material we utilize throughout our district, this product is far more affordable. (2) The Presto Foam product is a decent introduction material, while the simple cut material better matches the sharpness of line one acquires using conventional linoleum block cuts. It is good for elementary and middle school levels, and it is passable for a high school art foundations course. (In fact, I'm utilizing it just that way this week.) (3) The economy makes it simpler to have a "extra" piece of material on hand in case a student makes a mistake. Generally speaking, using the more expensive product makes that impossible. (4) I was taken aback by how adaptable this product is. I've used disposable foam plates to perform foam printing with students in the past. I was initially concerned when I opened this product and saw that it was considerably thinner than foam plates. However, the foam is thick and readily accepts incised lines. Larger decreased regions and forms work well as well. In fact, before letting high school pupils handle the pricey equipment, I might utilize this to introduce the idea of material removal. I kind of believe that this would work for reduction printing even though I haven't done it yet. Since we're talking about printing, let me mention that this material prints well, but only if you use block printing ink. Kids would probably get easily upset while using tempera, in my opinion, because you need a thicker substrate to operate consistently well. Watercolors and thinner inks won't work at all since they will bead up on the clean, unabraided surface. I even attempted using some intaglio ink since I had some on hand, but it wasn't great.I discovered that utilizing a brayer was the greatest method of application to the foam plate from a production standpoint (as you might well imagine.) To assess how much is "too much" and how much is insufficient to obtain a satisfactory transfer, some expertise is required. My Speedball hand press seemed to function extremely nicely. It was OK to simply rub with a spoon. Braying was OK. It was better to use a baren.

ePhotoInc Swing Away 9 x 12 T Shirt Heat Press Machine Transfer Sublimation Press ZP9BU Review:

I've only created a couple shirts so far, and the Amazon delivery person just dropped it off, but so far I LOVE THIS HEAT PRESS! Considering its compactness and ease of storage, I had contemplated purchasing the Cricut Easy Press. I'm really happy I chose this one. It needs a little space for the top to swing away and has an overall footprint of roughly 13" by 15," but if you have the space, it's absolutely worth it!Nothing was damaged, and all of the bolts, nuts, and other components were in their proper places. There is a small patch of chipped paint on one corner, but I can live with that. I neglected to get a teflon sheet, so I'm so glad it came with one.The directions were a little vague, so it took me about five minutes to figure out how to set the temperature. Once more, I can handle that. My only word of advice is to keep tiny hands away from this if you have them in your home. It is heavy and gets quite heated.Even shirts that I had produced with a regular iron and shirts that a friend had prepared with her Cricut Easy Press were repressed using it. They looked soooooooo much better after this press!

ePhotoInc New T Shirt Transfer Heat Press Machine 12" X 9" Digital Swing Away Heat Press Transfer Machine for T-Shirt ZP9BLK Review:

Despite being small and light, this heat press is really effective. There is no setup required; I simply opened the package and began using it.Although I currently own a Cricut Easy Press, this heat press performs much better and cost less. It's a beginning heat press, in my opinion. It saves me so much time that I use it for my Etsy t-shirt shop. Long-term vinyl adhesion to the t-shirts is no longer a concern of mine. I don't mind the little size because my craft room is already so crammed. Due to the excellent quality and value that this heat press offers, when my small business expands, I will buy a larger heat press from the same firm.

Dyepress Poly T-Spray Sublimation Coating + Desizer for T-Shirts Sample Size (Each 2 oz. Concentrate Makes 16 oz. of Spray) Review:

Works as promised, although is a bit costly. After washing, I saw the print fading. I can't entirely blame the product because there may be other personal variables involved. Most likely just use polyester and check later to see if prices decrease. If the price was lower, I would definitely give five stars.

What are the 5 Basic materials used in screen printing?

Screen printing is a printing technique where a mesh is used to transfer ink onto a substrate, except in areas made impermeable to the ink by a blocking stencil. A blade or squeegee is moved across the screen to fill the open mesh apertures with ink, and a reverse stroke then causes the screen to touch the substrate momentarily along a line of contact. This causes the ink to wet the substrate and be pulled out of the mesh apertures as the screen springs back after the blade has passed.
