I got this just to see. Sincerely, I anticipated it to experience all of the same problems as the Pound cable. I have, however, been delightedly surprised. Although it's not as nice as the DCHDMI mod, it's still quite functional given the cost. It appears to perform a simple VGA to HDMI conversion without degrading the signal, which is all I could really ask for. That does imply that the scaler on your TV is very important to the quality of your picture. Both of my TVs have trouble treating the 720x480 signal as though it is 640x480 and make the 480p video look noticeably soft on one while looking much sharper on the other. Most of those problems are resolved when I upscale with my Framemeister, and I'm able to produce a really sharp image without the same scaling concerns.It appears to be sufficiently well-built in terms of construction quality. I was unable to see inside because it didn't seem to be possible, but the box itself has a metal body, the cable is sturdy, and the Dreamcast connector feels well-made.I'm generally satisfied with it. I believe I now have a very functional HDMI solution for a reasonable cost. I am pleased with the picture on my main TV even without the Framemeister.

I won't lie; I don't play video games much. However, my husband's headset has been broken for more than a year. Due to the price of excellent gaming headsets, he has been eking by. I decided to purchase this one for him to try because it was reasonably priced and has several excellent features. Although he doesn't like camouflage, he might be able to accept it given the price. He enjoys playing PC games, and these appeared to be suitable for that.The cushions are quite cozy (especially after using the broken one for so long). It does a great job of isolating noise. He sees that as a benefit. I prefer it when he can hear me speaking to him. The cord is protected from breaking by being constructed of a braided material. The fact that the microphone can be easily moved out of the way and yet have the headset on if no one else is online is my husband's favorite feature. He used to have to cover the microphone on his old headset whenever he spoke to me in order to prevent him from interrupting his pals. He will be able to move the microphone while having both hands free when I ask him questions thanks to this moving arm. Although the lights don't accomplish anything, they nonetheless look great. We currently support this headset.

These headphones are extremely excellent! Since I teach online, sound is crucial to everything I do. There are no wire shortages or audio skips, and the sound quality is excellent. The microphone is placed reasonably far from my face and captures my voice wonderfully.I presently share a home with a huge family and three giant dogs, and I honestly have no communication with either of these two groups (although I do distance myself when working.) In contrast to others that have the bulky end and make it impossible to put into my phone until I take the case off, I particularly like that the 3.5mm plug has a tapered end so that it can easily be plugged into my phone with the case on.When playing games on my PC, conversing on the phone, or simply listening to music, the audio quality is excellent. The mic mute is useful, and the volume control on the cable functions nicely. I also enjoy that they don't have any bothersome grills or apertures on the outside like other headphones have. In this manner, the noises are contained to you alone rather than spreading to everyone else.Since the USB port is only used for charging, if you don't like lighting on headphones like I never have, just unplug it. I do value the knob on the left headphone's back that, if the USB is connected, allows you to adjust the lights' brightness. Had no idea what the second knob was for until I contacted the seller, who explained it to me. The manual is completely useless and makes no mention of it.Initially, they didn't fit well with my hat on, but thankfully, the two top bar items tolerated a slight bend to raise the angle at which they sat on my head. When I ordered this product, I was a little dubious, but it turns out it works just great. The RCA cables have a polygonal shape rather than being circular, staying faithful to the original design. It's a little difficult to get into and a touch tight where you attach it to the console. Take that for what it's worth, as I can't recall anything about the original.Send me a query if you want to know if it's still functional, and I'll let you know. For about a year, I have owned a NES Classic. Although the controller that comes with the NES Classic is only 3 feet long, I do have one controller with a lengthy cord. In order to have an additional controller with a long wire, I purchased this cable. Not to mention that some games are difficult to play with controllers other than the ones that came with them. These extension cords were excellent! All I had to do to get started was connect it to the original controller and plug it into the NES Classic. If you are experiencing the same issue I had, I highly suggest it!

Actually, this works VERY nicely. I was contemplating purchasing a VGA box converter. One made by Retro-Bit used to be fantastic, but you can only find it on Ebay right now for at least $50. I purchased the VGA cable that Retro-Bit is now selling. I just bought a new TV, and the new one doesn't have a VGA input. The Retro-Bit VGA cables were never functional to begin with. If your TV has a VGA input, this kit includes a cable that allows you to connect directly to it. If not, you can use the converter box it includes and connect it to the TV using an HDMI cable. Compared to the Dreamcast's stock cable, the picture quality is LEAGUES greater. That looks terrible on contemporary TVs. This kit is quite affordable and it works great. in contrast to items like the Gamecube HDMI converter, in particular.

Any television with an HDMI port must, with very few exceptions, be able to handle a 480p signal at a minimum.There must be a reason why people complain about incompatibility difficulties with TVs in some reviews if they are one of the extremely few exceptions.My two Samsung televisions—one of which is a 4K TV and has a 1080p maximum resolution—both function and accept the cable without any issues.Only a few carefully chosen DC games were incompatible with VGA, therefore they cannot be used with this adapter. Online, you can find a list of games that don't support VGA. A boot disc can be used as a workaround, with varied degrees of effectiveness.Owner of a DC VGA box, I believe the image on the HDMI cable is still very excellent, but if I had to choose between the two, the VGA box is Slightly superior in terms of color and clarity. However, for convenience and price, I would choose the HDMI link cable by Pound.At first, everything on your HDTV appears stretched to fit the screen, but altering the aspect ratio in your TV's settings to 4:3 immediately fixes the issue. I will note that a 4:3 switch on the device itself or if the image was set to 4:3 originally would be ideal. Hopefully, such a function will be included in a later iteration. Just a slight annoyance, nothing major.I believe there are ways to record video, however they can be a pain and I can't speak from firsthand experience. According to what I've been told, the Elgato does not support 640X480 resolution, hence this cable will not function.Overall, I believe that this was an excellent and cost-effective way to play DC games on your HD television. If Pound reads this, I really hope you add a 4:3 switch in a later release, but other than that, I'm quite pleased with my purchase.
