I first got the Lockly Fingerprint Smartlock, but Amazon accidentally received the cheaper model of the lock, which does not support fingerprints. I regret that I did not catch the error before the lock was installed. At that time, I made the decision to do without the fingerprint feature, which is unfortunate because this lock is extremely nice.It works great and is rather simple to setup. Installing the iPhone app or writing code was easy for me. The problem with the lock's screen activation was my mistake, as I later realized. I disregarded the instructions. I emailed Lockly for assistance, and they answered right away. They even got in touch with me again a couple of days later to make sure the lock was working properly. Excellent client service!This lock comes highly recommended.

My only criticism thus far is that I had to drill through my door in case the lock didn't work out during installation.I put it outside, beneath a very modest awning, where it would get a little wet during a downpour. If it disappears, I'll post an update.I've been purchasing locks like this for years (they all break down after 3–4 years), and my typical price is around $180 for a more simpler push-button version.The fingerprint scanner works quickly and precisely. Nothing needs to be pushed to wake it up.The RFID card must actually touch the keypad, not merely be in close proximity to it. I'm aware that boosted signal RFID cards are available, but I'm not sure if they work with this handle.The light on the touch keypad is difficult to see during the day and awkward to wake up; you may accidentally activate passage mode (doesn't lock automatically) or enter a key merely to wake it up. But it doesn't matter to me because I don't use the keypad. I appreciate how the numbers on the pad produce an X when your fingerprint or RFID is not recognized and a circle when it is. It's the details, sometimes, lol.Programming was incredibly simple. I find it annoying because in order to add a user or change settings, you still have to press the setup key (behind the screwed-on battery cover) while logged in as an administrator.However, overall excellent deal!

The system may take several minutes to set it up and register it. Following that, navigate to SETTINGS > ACCOUNTS > SIGN IN OPTIONS. You'll see Windows Hello there. You should see a button to add fingerprints there if the fingerprint reader has been fully detected. After around five minutes, try rebooting your computer. We tried a number of video doorbells before investing in numerous Arlo Pro cameras, but none of them were successful in our specific area. Therefore, we decided to go with the Arlo system. We are pleased with the system because it provides us with additional surveillance that a doorbell does not. But the 2-way audio configuration on those cameras is pretty useless.Fortunately, Arlo's audio doorbell came to the rescue! Installing is really simple. It functions with our internal chime (the other video ones did not). There is hardly no audio lag. Your phone rings (s). It is audible enough to utilize. Your chosen Arlo camera is associated with the doorbell. Ours was coupled with a picture of our front door. The motion sensor on the doorbell activates the camera. While chatting with the visitor at your door, the video feed is also visible on your phone! When you're done, simply press the "end" button on your phone, and the sound is duplex. You have a variety of message delivery options for the visitor. A message can also be left for you by the visitor. Outstanding execution. Installing it was also really simple.If you're worried that it will count toward your 5-camera cap, Netgear assures you that it WILL NOT. Additionally, each communication is separately recorded to the cloud.UPDATE: As lithium phosphate batteries are much better for low temperatures, we updated the batteries on November 28. The Arlo security camera system has been my possession for almost two years. On the system, I have six cameras as well as a doorbell and door chime. I have nothing but praise for the product. It's the best option for the money and the product's quality.I just bought the Arlo Door Bell. It's not compatible with the most (if not all) of existing, conventional door chimes, as I had to discover the hard way. Later, I learned from more investigation that Arlo also created this Door Chime. Nothing could have been simpler. It's as simple as plugging it into a wall socket, connecting it to the Arlo Base Station, and pairing it with the Arlo Door Bell. Your doorbell rings. The only little drawback is that it could be a little louder, but it is still audible to everybody on the first floor of the house. Additionally, you can talk through the Door Bell from your phone or tablet or record a message. There is no better way to put it. As an electrical engineer, I believe it to be a fantastic wireless camera system.

In the event that your objectives are similar to mine, reading this may perhaps save you some time and heartache since I spent way too much time investigating these gadgets before buying them. Simply enough, it accomplishes my goal of enabling my fingerprint login for Lastpass. This was my main objective, but being able to access my Windows computer is also a pleasant perk and will enable me to set a tougher password if I so choose.There were a lot of contradictory assessments when conducting the research. not just for this gadget, but also for other ones. Does not work with Windows 10, does not work with LastPass, needs drivers, does not need drivers, etc. My initial reaction was that no one specified the specific version of Windows they were using, and the only way to find out if it worked was to go ahead and install it. I did, and I'm glad I went with this. Although it is more expensive, I liked the notion of not having to reach for a USB port in order to find a "dongle" because the device may sit on my desktop. That was worth a little bit more to me on its own, and it clearly had to function.If you already have the aforementioned objectives, stop reading; however, if you want more details, keep reading. My Windows version is 1709 (aka Windows Fall Creators Update). The "small CD" that came in the box was NOT used to install anything. Just plug it in and watch as it configures itself. Once it was finished, it was particularly identified as a "Authen Tec Inc. AES2550" and listed under device manager's "Biometric devices" category. When I was ready, I went to Windows Settings >> Accounts >> Sign-in choices >> Setup Fingerprint. It should be noted that my computer had previously stated that my device was incompatible with Windows Hello, however this is no longer the case after installing the reader. Despite the fact that I actually own a Logitech webcam, Hello reportedly did not support it because of its age. Anyway, I used the process to register a fingerprint, and Windows informed me that a PIN was required. That is absurd because most people believe a "pin" to be a four-digit number, thus this seems like a security step backward. Not so quickly, Kowalski. To enter anything, simply check the box next to Allow alphanumeric characters. I just used my established password because I was happy with it already. Bingo, we're ready to go. ALT CTRL DELETE > Lock > Finger swipe > UNLOCK Perfect!Although it wasn't nearly as easy, Lastpass was still very simple to use. Go to Account Settings > Multifactor Options in your vault. There is an icon that resembles a fingerprint in the Multifactor Authentication - Premium area (YES, YOU MUST BE A PREMIUM SUBSCRIBER). It will be turned off. To configure it, click the "pen" symbol. In my situation, it mentioned the necessity to "go here" and install a binary component. After I did this, it informed me that in order for the changes to take effect, I needed to exit my browser. I just restarted since I was using Chrome, and from my experience, Chrome occasionally loves to run in the background. This was also a fantastic opportunity to try out my brand-new finger print reader's functionality. Answer. Flawlessly. However, I digress. When I returned to the same section in Lastpass, I was disappointed to see that it was still inactive. Once more clicking the pen, this time selecting "here" to enable, the desktop application was downloaded. I carried out the installer and then repeated the process. I was able to enable the service when I returned to the fingerprint setting. I was prompted to swipe my finger and input my Master Password. I was then ready to go. After signing out of Lastpass, I launched Chrome, clicked the grey Lastpass icon, and I was logged in after being prompted to swipe my finger. Now that I won't have to remember it, I'll change my master password to something ridiculous. Of course, I'll record it in writing and keep it secure just in case. You might not want a complex password if you use Lastpass on a mobile device, but I'm in fortunate because my phone also features a fingerprint scanner (as do the majority of current smartphones and tablets). I won't go into the mobile setup right now, but I will say that a fingerprint login option is available.Don't anticipate much from the "box" in terms of what you receive. The reader and a little CD are contained in an unassuming cardboard box. not another. There are no instructions or anything, but if you follow the following directions, perhaps you won't need any.Overall, I am happy with my purchase and can suggest it if your computer is running Windows 10 version 1709. Your results may vary because it might or might not work with earlier versions. Good fortune!

I adore this stuff so much! At first, I only wanted to find out how much a lock without a key would cost. After some consideration, I believe it would be annoying if the only option required entering a code each time. Additionally, interestingly enough, a lot of them demand codes with at least 8 digits. I rapidly came to the conclusion that the majority of the "smart" locks on this site seemed very dubious and were not worth taking a chance with since they were the only barrier between my property and a potential intruder. I was fortunate to find this one on here secondhand for a bit cheaper and took a chance by purchasing it. I didn't want to spend more than $100 on a lock at first, but the more I looked, the more I understood that I needed a fingerprint sensor and a high-quality lock. Installing it wasn't that difficult. I'd estimate 45 minutes. I anticipated the installation to be quite difficult based on the other reviews, but it simply requires that you 1) drill a few holes using the included drill bit and the included stencil. 2) Insert approximately 8–10 screws. 3) Connect a plug. 4) After installing the batteries, you are ready to use.(FIX for those having issues with your fingerprint not being recognized)In terms of real use, I thought the fingerprint sensor was pretty accurate. It took my girlfriend several tries because she did struggle with it. The solution to this issue is to program the same finger in different positions multiple times. Programming the same finger multiple times in slightly different positions works like a charm since it necessitates that your finger be in the exact same location as it was when you programmed it (because you're likely to place your finger on the imprint reader differently each time). You carry out this action similarly to adding a new user, except your finger is in a different location. About four times later, you're good to go.The lock has a pretty good, high-quality appearance. The components appear to be rather sturdy. It's nice that you have to touch it before it lights up. If someone saw it for the first time, they could be perplexed as to how you enter without a keyhole (which is a good thing). The fact that the handle could be turned to face either left or right made me very delighted. I discovered that not all of these locks provided that. You shouldn't have any trouble reading the numbers or the fingerprint sensor because it lights up rather brightly. According to the instructions, the device will tell you when the batteries are starting to run low, but even then, you have another 1000 uses before the batteries run out completely. There are three keys included (the key hole is on the bottom side, behind the lock), and 99 distinct fingerprints can be programmed in addition to up to 99 different codes. Additionally, you have the option of deleting users. I set it up every Thursday so my housekeeper may enter to clean it, then I erase it the following Friday.Sincerely, I didn't believe I would enjoy having a fingerprint sensor, but after using one for more than a month, I can't image not having one. In addition to being incredibly convenient, when people first see it, they find it hard to believe. There truly weren't any cons I could discover for the lock. Since so many people are getting paid to write reviews, I have essentially given up on them, thus I have chosen to start writing actual reviews. Since it's what made this site so incredible, hopefully actual people will start acting in the same way.

Every time I contact, the staff is really pleased to assist. They are incredibly amiable and approachable. The staff chatted with me while I waited for things to load during the dead air moments and we discussed a variety of interesting subjects. She was humorous and eager to enlighten me without making me feel ignorant. Time Clock Wizard always knows the answer, and if not, you can ask them to add or modify something. Once I had properly installed it, the Bio-key reader performed just as I had hoped. Once I realized you need to hold your finger there for a few seconds, it started working quite consistently for me. Although it may sound a little inconvenient, doing this is still quicker than typing a password. Simply said, it isn't quite as quick as my iPhone. (However, despite that, my iPhone feels extremely sensitive to even the smallest changes in my finger, as a result of, for instance, performing DIY work.)I really wanted it to work with LastPass so I wouldn't have to enter my lengthy master password every time a web page asked for auto-complete information. However, because my PC is running Windows 10 and is part of a corporate domain, I had to modify group policy settings in order to make Windows itself support fingerprint reader login with a PIN. This reader uses the Windows Biometric Framework, which essentially expected to be used for Windows login, so that explains it.Despite how annoying it initially sounded, I actually really enjoy using my fingerprint to get into Windows!After doing this, I had to play about with LastPass a bit to install the correct versions of the modules. But I adhered to the LastPass instructions.Overall, it's decent enough that I'm considering purchasing another one for my home computer (although that seems trickier now that I use Windows 7!).
