Best Office Presentation Laminators in 2020

13 inches Laminator, Blusmart Multiple Function A3 Laminator with 25 Laminating Pouches, Paper Cutter, Corner Rounder Laminate for A3,A4,A5,A6 Review:

This lamination machine is a huge plus to our home office and our non profit organization. I tested it first on a few items at home. Great results.on a family picture, and a potential flier I made for a theater festival event we had in our town this week.

It's very very easy to use and can be used as a cold or hot laminate. I received a complete seal, which is very important. This device is very lightweight so it can be used in even small spaces and doesn't require a lot of hook up. A simple plug in.
One should be careful when using the laminate on hot as the item will be a little warm afterwards for a few seconds. A great buy and an incredible find. I recommend for anyone, even the crafter. Trying to upload video to show how simple.

5 in 1 Blusmart Laminator Set, A4, Trimmer, Corner Rounder, 20 Laminating Pouches, Photo Frames, White Review:

Nice for home and home office use. Did my first two test sheets successfully within 15 minutes of plugging it in. And that included reading the manual.

Came with some sample laminating pouches which are big enough to hold 8.5 x 11 sheets and still had room to trim clean to the edge of the paper, or into the paper, or even leave some clear edge. The sample pack is marked “Hot Laminating Pouches.” (No cold pouches are supplied.)

One switch turns on basic power, which is all that’s needed if you were to use cold laminate material. A second switch turns on the heater. It takes maybe 5 minutes or less to warm up, at which time a ready light clearly indicates you’re good to go. The sheet creeps through evenly, but very slowly. This is not a device for people in a big rush, or for many items to laminate. But the result is quite nice. Full surface seal, with no need to leave the sealed edges on. The trimmer cuts through the laminate and paper adequately, although I had to be sure to press the rotary blade against the cutting edge evenly during each cut.

The laminating material feels like a single sheet at first touch. You need to separate the "pouch" on any one of three edges. There is one single fused edge that holds the sheets together, and it is visibly different from the three open edges. After sandwiching the paper you want to seal in between the two layers, straighten it up, and feed the whole thing into the roller mechanism with the closed edge first. Be sure to feed it as centered and straight as you can. There is some wiggle room, but a slightly skewed start will bend up the edges (or even jam it I suppose - I didn’t do it that badly - just enough to observe the edge getting bent up a little, although it came out fine).

The little round corner device is a separate gizmo tucked into the back of the unit. You need to pull it out, and then it is pretty obvious how to use it. If you’ve ever clipped your fingernails, you’re ready. The round corner radius is pretty small - just enough to help avoid the sharp corners from scratching or poking you. There is a little enclosed section in the round corner device to catch the waste. Looks like it’s an easy matter to pry it off and empty when it gets full.

One sheet of practice is all it took, and even that one was usable. The second one only took 30 seconds to prepare, and a couple minutes to heat, trim and round corner.

I did not have any cold lam material to test, so cannot comment on that method.

Full disclosure; I was given this laminator to test in order to get my unbiased opinion as a first-time user of this device. I come from the graphics and printing industry and know this service can really be expensive, and can carry hefty minimums. It's a fine alternative for limited regular use instead of running out to a copy center.

Overall a nice little package for the price.

Laminator Machine for A3/A4/A6, YE381 Thermal Laminating Machine for Home Office School Use with 50 Pouches, Paper Trimmer and Corner Rounder Review:

I was impressed with this laminator. Once it was heated up, the pieces laminated pretty quickly and came out cool enough to pick up. I also really liked the ability with this unit to do larger sheets, like 11x17. Having a new business, that will be very useful for me. The compactness is great, allowing me to put it away when not in use. I didn’t think I would use the wavy or perforated cutters, but after seeing it in action, I can use it for tickets or RSVP cards. The corner rounder is limited, very small and only does one sheet at a time, but it does its job and saves you from those pointy corners, and looks pretty too.

AmazonBasics PBH-55651 12-Inch Thermal Laminator Review:

I've laminated 24 documents so far. I bought because I'm a teacher and wanted to laminate things in the comfort of my own home whilst wearing pajamas and being lazy.

The first 14 were fine, but on the 15th the top left corner of things started to curl up. I tried inserting the documents in different areas (the menu vs letter lines), adding more room to the edges, etc, but it still seems to be hit or miss. Sometimes it comes out curled, other times it doesn't. I'm attaching a couple of pictures and a video for you to see. I am using 3mm Amazon Basics laminating sheets -- perhaps the curling could be remedied with 5mm sheets.

Other than that, I'd say it's a pretty good laminator and I don't regret buying it! No weird smells like other users, either, and everything seems to work properly other than the curling issue.

Scotch Thermal Laminator, 2 Roller System for a Professional Finish, Laminate up to 9" Wide (TL901) Review:

'This is my second laminator. My first one finally quit , I believe it was probably my own doing. It served me well. I cut out very detailed snowflakes , when gifting them or displaying them some of them tore very easily. So I started thermal laminating all of them. I can honestly say I have laminated more then 10,000 snowflakes over the past two years. I use very inexpensive copy paper, 500 sheets per pack. Since July of this year I have cut out and laminated 3 packs . This machine is a beast, I used some very fine glitter on some of my snowflakes before laminating them. Some sealed without problems , after that, well I had to order a new one . Now snowflakes with glitter get introduced to an inexpensive iron I purchased. I believe my first laminator would still be running strong . I took it apart and was able to see the glitter wasn't flat enough causing friction between the two rollers in the laminator , therefore causing the rollers to turn inconsistently. LESSON LEARNED. I give this machine 5 stars because I know how much I used it and how wonderfully it did the job.' THANKS FOR READING , HAPPY HOLIDAYS.'
*UPDATE* thousands of snowflakes later, still working great. I again have to order more pouches.
These snowflakes really have become an obsession. This machine is in my opinion a little work horse. It has continue to perform well for me every time I turn it on.
I again would recommend this laminating machine.
THANKS AGAIN â˜ș

AmazonBasics Thermal Laminator Machine Review:

I am torn 2 ways on this review. I ordered one of these last year, needed to have it for the occasional cards/documents I want to laminate. I really only used it a handful of times, and then months later, it broke. Just plain stopped working. I couldn't believe it. I thought for sure, I should surely get more than a year out of it, especially with only rare usage. But no, it didn't even last a year. I would pretty angry. It actually stopped working right in the middle of me laminating my new CPR card, it almost destroyed the card because the laminating sleeve was only half-melted onto it. I promptly sent a message to Amazon customer service and to my great surprise, they offered to immediately ship me a new one, at no cost! I was surprised, I know they have had great service in the past, but this actually FAR exceeded my expectations.

Within 2 days, I had my new laminator at my doorstep and it is working as flawlessly as the first one did on the first day. I was also able to print a return label at no cost to send the defective unit back, and I did so, gladly. So far so good. The new unit is still working. I just hope that it keeps it up, and that I can get a few years out of it, since I really don't use it all that much. I have yet to see any problems with using either 3ml or 5ml pouches, as I do have both. I also have not had any problem with the un-jam feature. So, only time will tell if this holds up. But nonetheless, I am definitely 100% pleased with Amazon's amazing customer service, even if I am still a little weary over this product. If this one breaks also, I will certainly be looking to invest in a new brand.
If you found my review at all helpful, it'd be wicked cool if you'd tap the "yes" button below. Thanks!

Scotch Pro Thermal Laminator, Never Jam Technology Automatically Prevents Misfed Items, 2 Roller System (TL906) Review:

I am preschool special education teacher and am constantly laminating to preserve items for years to come. I usually use card stock and 5ml pouches and needed a laminator that could accommodate constant usage and thick projects, especially something that could get hot enough - nothing is more annoying than open corners. I should also say that I put my laminators through the ringer! This would be third/forth laminator in a few years because of the heavy usage and/or not so careful use (oops!). My biggest problems with laminators are getting jammed, not getting hot enough, or making some terrible squeaking noise. I researched laminators for a while and really would have paid more if anything had decent and consistent reviews. This was a good price and the reviews were pretty good as well. I also am an avid fan of the scotch pouches - the price is incredible for the quality - so I figured I give this a try. LOVE! It surpassed my expectations. Its nearly silent! It has different size settings (3ml or 5ml) an anti jam button. There's also a nice place to wrap the cord for storage or traveling back and forth to work. It also laminates fairly quickly! I would absolutely recommend.
