These are a great match for 225/75/15 tires. Although this is my first year with them, they have been excellent thus far. At the bottom, there is a nice strap that joins with two plastic hooks in the rear. I'm not sure how long the plastic hook will last, but if it does, a $1.50 box of four metal hooks from any hardware store can be used to replace it. Inside is a softer, almost fleece-like material that looks to be the solar reflective material on the outside. I'm not concerned about them blowing away because they are fastened to the straps securely. I'll update this review if they don't work over the winter.

For the price of four of them, I assumed these would be of poor quality, however I changed my mind after reading several customer reviews. I purchased them based on the general evaluations; they arrived quickly and were simple to install. It was simple to install because the tire side had a felt-like soft backing. My tires are 40" in diameter and 10/R-22.5 in size (for those looking for a cover for your skoolie).. I'll write another review in a year to let you know how they've fared in the weather here in central Florida, but based on how they feel, I anticipate that they will outlast the heavy-duty tarps I was using. They have so far maintained their position despite the recent strong gusts in our area. They also have extra room so you can easily put them on.

Before purchasing these tire covers, I compared a number of different brands. Most had a plush lining made of soft vinyl. Each cost roughly $25 for two people.I wasn't prepared for the material of these tire covers to be so heavy. superior in every way. A woven fabric is used to make the covers. My best guess is nylon. The rear piece's and the seams between the front piece and the outer piece are both protected by vinyl welts. A strong elastic band is stitched to the back piece. In order to prevent the coverings from blowing off, bungee cords are provided. Metal eyelets are used for the bungee cords. I noticed the best coverings for less money. great purchase.

It only took a few seconds on my hands and knees to attach them after inserting one end of the provided bungee cord into its grommet and flinging the other end toward the other hole behind the tire. I just slipped the bungee cord through the grommet after using a short stick to fish it as near to the other end as I could. I had to be a little bit cautious to prevent breaking the cover because the tires are new and somewhat sticky, but that wasn't difficult. Even more quickly can be achieved with the removal of each tire cover. The coverings do not appear to be particularly thick, but all they need to do is block UV, which they will undoubtedly do. Overall, this is considerably better than letting the tires deteriorate and maybe blow up catastrophically. The reason the tires are replaced is because we experienced tread separation in a front tire with roughly 3 years and 22,000 miles on it. Before the tire exploded, we were able to limp to a tire shop, but with these covers, I'm hoping we won't have to worry about that very upsetting scenario ever again.

These have been on my single axle trailer for about three weeks now that I'm using them. I like them so far since they fit well and look great. They are a tiny bit thinner than other similar things I've used in the past, but I do believe they will protect my tires effectively over time. I'm not sure if it will make a difference for durability, but they are thinner. The retaining strap is one aspect of which I'm not entirely certain. It is stretchy and does a fantastic job of keeping it in place. However, it has two drawbacks. To grab both ends of the connector, you first really need to go beneath the trailer. Versions with adjustable straps can be fully extended and thrown beneath the wheel to make it a little simpler to grasp. Furthermore, I anticipate that since it is elastic and not adjustable, this will eventually fail, earning the item only four stars. Overall, an excellent product; but, I'm not entirely convinced that it will last as long as I would like.
