Here, you definitely get what you paid for! Comes with two separate strings, each with a remote of its own, though you may use one remote for both and keep the other as a backup, as I did. I had previously ordered one with a USB port, which I also loved, but I missed the luxury of the remote and the ability to control the lights' brightness. They appear to be very lovely! The only drawback is that each of them needs three double A batteries, so depending on usage, you can start spending more money on batteries than you ever have. The light was delivered promptly and performed flawlessly for the first week, but now one strand's red section has ceased working. In front of my front door, I have them wrapped around two pillars outside. The timing is flawless, and they are lovely. I would have given them five stars if the red lights had continued to function, but sadly they did not. I've sent the vendor a message and am hoping for a prompt resolution. In that case, I'll raise my rating.Update: With the following justification, I've raised my rating from two to four stars. After I wrote to the Bebrant Lighting team, they swiftly answered, clarifying that I should change the batteries and that each hue of the lights needs a different voltage to function at their brightest. If I wasn't satisfied with the results, they would fully refund my entire purchase price. The lights are operating as they were before I changed the batteries. These lights are really amazing; they're brilliant and colorful. If the batteries lasted just a little bit longer, I would give them five stars. My double entrance doors have lovely Christmas wreaths that I use every year, but the wreaths are gloomy at night. The length of the fairy lights was just right for me to loosely wrap around the wreaths this year and conceal the power pack in the back, so I gave it a go. When the lights wouldn't turn on with the remote at first, I finally recognized that the battery pack was hidden and that the remote couldn't communicate with it. The lights turned on right away when I tried holding the remote at a higher angle. I didn't use the timed function; instead, I lit the porch lights every night before turning on the lights. I install two 4 foot pre-lit artificial trees beneath my porch lights, both of which have soft white lights. Cool white describes the fairy lights (more blue-ish). I appreciated the contrast it provided to my outside holiday decorations.

For what it's worth, I'm utilizing this bias lighting behind a 40" Samsung mounted on a floating desk. My only complaint and the reason for deducting a rating is that, as some other reviewers have noted, the colors are a little off. However, the lighting is fantastic, it is pretty bright and can be turned down if needed. In perfect darkness, red, green, and blue all appear their best; otherwise, the colors appear slightly washed out or "off." The worst offender is white, which is actually a fairly "cool" white that is far more blue. Although I don't like the white much and the colors still seem good, it should be mentioned for people who are unsure of how this will end out. Because it is IR, the IR receiver requires sight of the remote; if I point the remote towards the right of the tv, it works fine, but if I point it straight at the tv, it does not; keep that in mind when installing. I mounted the IR receiver to the rear of my television but still towards the right of the screen, and it works reasonably well with the remote.I mounted the strips differently than the instructions suggested, having some soft curves in the strips to run around the outside perimeter of the television. I have this plugged into my tv's USB port, and it works great. It's not something I would generally suggest doing, and neither do the instructions, but it was the only way I could keep the IR receiver close to the edge of my television without having it interfere with my desk mount and yet have adequate lighting coverage. The set's actual construction quality is extremely nice, and I didn't find anything to be cheap. I'm not sure if there are higher quality (in terms of color accuracy) bias lighting packages, though.

They are really bright, can pretty much go with any setup you have and make it appear sophisticated, and the fact that the lights change in response to music is a big benefit.PROS: Dimmable, bright, many colors, and music mode with DIY possibilities• Operated by Bluetooth-enabled apps or the built-in remote controlCONS: • No support for Alexa or Google Home due to lack of wifi connectivity (However these are specified to only be Bluetooth controlled)Not the best, but also not the worst app.• The app's Scenes aren't really impressive. It is far preferable to make your own.• Because the microphone is so sensitive, it can pick up any background noise, such a fan or an air conditioner running on low. However, there are occasions when it struggles to differentiate between different musical segments, so if there isn't a pause in the lyrics or a bass drop, the music mode won't properly activate.In addition to the 3m on the back, they also include 5 additional sticky holders for more stability. The app is adequate; it could need more options and better DIY modes, but it's still good. Bluetooth connectivity that is quick and responsive. I would highly recommend a 55-65" television because my 55" television's lights are at the farthest edge, and I had to fold the extra ones up into the middle of the back of the television because cutting them would not have distributed the light equally. A larger television would be ideal.

To add some bias lighting to my wooden sign, I was seeking for a white LED strip. This did the job really well. I've included two images showing the settings for lowest and greatest brightness. There are 4 settings in all, and each level is clearly distinguishable. I always leave it at its highest setting, and it looks fantastic.A roll of white LEDs, a dimmer control with a wall connector, clips with adhesive tape on some of their sides, and plastic clips to put your LED strip into place are all included in the package.I liked that you could cut the LED strip to the required length and buy a different plug to use the leftover LED strip. To reuse the remaining strip, make sure to cut in the area between the four copper spots because that is where your new connector will be attached.Although the LED strip itself has a sticky backing, I recommend using plastic clips instead because they adhere to the surface of whatever you are hanging these on better.Noting the adhesive, I believe it could function if placed on a flat surface similar to a whiteboard because the glue that comes on the strip is quite terrible. I advise making use of the clips.I'm considering purchasing another roll at this price to add lighting under my counter top. This lamp comes highly recommended, and the warranty also gives me comfort of mind.

This USB-powered, long string of fairy lights was what I had hoped it would be based on the description: convenient for remote control operation.This set has been a hit in my home because it's simple to drape around anything and enjoyable to change with the remote. I originally purchased it with the intention of using it for a specific event ("Narnia Day" at my son's school, where we used it along with some birch limbs to provide "magical" ambient light), but it's turned out to be perfect for that occasion. It now primarily resides in our reading nook, but in the previous month, it was also taken camping and scattered about the house.In order to give us the most freedom, I looked for a USB-powered string. If we're setting them up close to an outlet, I can use one of our many USB-wall chargers to power it. If not (as it did on the camping trip), I can use one of our power banks. The key is that we don't need to know ahead of time what would be practical. For instance, I took a tiny power bank AND a wall charger for the school decor since I wasn't sure where we'd be using it, but we just used the power bank.(Please take note that you will need to provide your own; I was alright with this because we have plenty of both, but if you don't, make sure you make arrangements to get one.)My one and only criticism is that the black cable at the string's power end is somewhat thick (see the attached picture). The power end sticks out like a sore thumb because of the strand's lovely, thin wire and the fact that fairy lights are tiny and delicate. I would have preferred if they had used translucent or even white plastic.Naturally, you won't see it in the dark, but if you want to use it for daytime "ambience" purposes or if you want to put it in a semi-permanent place where it will be visible both day and night, you'll either need to take special care to conceal the black cord or accept its limitations. (Of course, this can be a "positive" and not a "con" for you if you're putting it on something like a black bookshelf.)

Since I planned to add some red lighting to the Halloween decorations to "spice things up," I needed a lightstrip that could withstand the outdoors. These seemed to be good, and when they arrived, I was happy to discover that the lights had been neatly wound up and sealed in an anti-static bag. The lightstrip is connected to a separate power source, control box, and additional connectors. The control box has an IR receiver hanging from it (I assume for daisy-chaining lights).A remote control in the shape of a credit card has preset color buttons, and there are also DIY and flashing modes that let you create your own colors. I was able to place it up outdoors with my decorations (wrapped over an iron gate) after making sure it turned on, and I had it set to red (preset). On Halloween night, it poured down rain nonstop, and even though the roof overhang partially covered the strip, I was concerned about it the following morning. It turned out to be all right!I plan to use these as accents around the Christmas tree and in my kids' rooms now that Halloween has passed.Remarkably good customer service will take care of any issues you may have. The lightstrip on my first one was splitting down the side, exposing the LEDs, but I was quickly sent a functioning replacement.Note 2: When configuring the DIY colors, keep in mind that white light is made up of all colors; therefore, to configure a reddish color, press DIY1, then press Down on the green and blue buttons to subtract green and blue from the white light. You should notice the lights turning purplish or pink; continue until you find the color you like; then press DIY1 to save it. It was a success! Given that my brother said he desired RGB lights, I purchased it as a gift for him. The lights came on when we unpacked and plugged it in, but the remote was inoperable. We got a new battery because we believed the old one was dead, but the problem persisted. If there is a problem, emailing the business would most certainly and painlessly address it.
