It has held up nicely thus far and comes with a small bag. 90% of the time, my child will snap before the school year is out. At this price, I'm getting a backup just in case.Purchase the colored/clear ones instead. They are said to be fragile and less musical.

The recorder was a solid choice because it seems to be a simple instrument to master. For proper use, you will need more than just the accompanying instructions if you lack a basic education. This particular recorder was chosen because to its color. Many of us love purple, but you don't judge quality by an instrument's color.My overall opinion is based on the mouthpiece's "feel," how simple it is to produce various notes, and the packing details. For playing particular notes, you will need extra guidance if you are a beginner. The fingering chart that was provided was useless.Playable and inexpensive with transparency (can see the saliva build up for cleaning)included cleaning tool in the reusable plastic caseCons: Insufficient guidance (but that does not reflect the quality of the instrument)(In my home, the dog will either "sing along" or "howl in pain" when someone plays, so he must either love it or detest it.)

The majority of us begin learning the recorder on cheap plastic instruments. Nothing is wrong with that. To be quite honest, some of them (like Eastar's own) sound and play incredibly well. Much superior to the plastic instruments of recent memory. Having saying that, nothing compares to the sound and feel of a well-made wooden recorder. Particularly while playing the lower notes, which have a sonorous bottom and beautiful overtones and can almost come to life.The price has been the main barrier for many musicians, keeping them from switching from plastic instruments. But to my surprise—and I anticipate the surprise of many players—even that is shifting. Solid maple was used to create this Eastar. Even before you hear it, you can see and feel it. And that is a beautiful thing. Even yet, the price is fairly affordable.A well tailored case is included with the Eastar ERS-31M. a carrying case that also includes a cleaning rod with a soft head (supplied) and a tiny jar of sealing and protective lubricant for the cork used where the three pieces of the recorder attach to one another.Oh, and that also reminds me of another great aspect of the Eastar. It is a three-piece set, and the lowest hole may be placed exactly where you want it for people with shorter or longer small fingers because the lower bout rotates. (Once set, however, the two lower pieces may continue to function as a single unit even if the recorder is disassembled for storage.)My example's tuning and pitch seemed to be rather close to being "right on." Although a player's technique plays a role in this. In order to ensure that notes are clear and free of "lisps" when playing down low, persons used to plastic instruments may need to gain a feel for this (and other) wooden instruments.Every serious player eventually begins to feel ready to switch to a wooden instrument. Cost is no longer as important with the Eastar ERS-31M.Highly suggested.

I used this product to do some flower pot gardening. Although these tools are undoubtedly high-quality in terms of durability and materials, a child's (8 year old/example) hands could find them a bit large. There were nearly too many tools for what I was looking for. There must unquestionably be complete monitoring around these. I'm very grateful that they come with a gorgeous, robust, black canvas bag or tote that has pockets all over the outside. Since I have several little grandchildren, I store mine inside the bag and in a secure location. I adore it!

It was flawless:) In addition to a document indicating which holes correspond to particular notes, it also comes with a plastic holder and cleaning stick. YouTube is better than reading from a piece of paper for learning, in my opinion. It was good that it came a few days early.Before making a purchase, I read other evaluations, and I believe they might be easily improved. When I looked at the document, it actually revealed that some notes have several variations of which holes to cover, so perhaps that was why one individual had complained that some of the notes sounded the same. Another person reported that the noise was abrasive and shrieking. You shouldn't blow too forcefully, according to a YouTube search I did for this. It won't make the appropriate notes if you blow too forcefully.However, I awarded it a five because it arrived quickly, was exactly what I ordered, was reasonably priced, and was in excellent shape.Thanks!
