Most people believe that drip pans are necessary on stoves in order to protect the stovetop from spills and splatters. However, drip pans can actually be more of a hazard than a help. If not installed properly, they can cause fires. In addition, they can collect dirt and grime, which can be difficult to clean. If you do choose to use drip pans, be sure to clean them regularly.
Drip pans are designed to catch any drips or spills from your stovetop cooking, so they definitely see a lot of wear and tear! Over time, they can start to rust or warp, so it's a good idea to replace them every few years. You can find drip pans in most hardware stores, or order them online.
If you have a gas stove, chances are you have porcelain drip pans. And if you're like most people, you probably hate cleaning them. But are they really that difficult to clean? The answer is: it depends. If you let the drips and spills sit on the drip pans for too long, they will be harder to clean. But if you clean them regularly, they shouldn't be any more difficult to clean than any other type of pan. There are a few things you can do to make cleaning your drip pans easier. First, make sure
You can use Barkeepers Friend on drip pans to clean them. This cleaner is designed to clean stainless steel and is effective at removing tough stains.

Since my handyman robbed me and the police won't arrest him because "he had a key"... (really)... and dealing with insurance brings a bit of bile up from the depths of an unknown area I'd rather not deal with... well, I got the stove for free and am using it until I somehow finish the renovations on my house. I'm kind of stuck with what I have for a while... and slowly replace clothes, electronics, makeup (yes, really), and linens (yup, the group broke into my life and stole what they wanted...). Anyway, to make things "better" I bought these burner drip things and have been impressed with them.. as much as I can be, about burner drip things on a stove I detest (electric, yuck!) in a room with open walls and painted plywood for counters.. but yes,They scrub clean (I've never used abrasive cleaners; I prefer to let things soak for a while, and it seems to be working...So, if you're like me and desperately want a new stove or oven but have been robbed by a group of individuals (cool, even on video!!) with a worthless police department that is run by volunteers (that's my nice way of saying "because they don't work..."), feel free to buy these and be content with a clean stovetop (does that REALLY make you content? Is your life really that easy? and be aware that there are con artists out there who have a great system in place; they get to know you/your life.. and somehow earn your trust (at least I could read him well enough to avoid falling for his BS and falling for the sociopath)... and do work around the house.. dogsit while you're out of town (I was assisting my family with the difficult process of putting our father into hospice)... and despite the fact that he knew there were cameras, invited aThis is a "thing" for drug users; they steal your belongings and either use them themselves, sell them at "flea markets," or work on the property and care the dogs while you're away. So, how does one overcome such hatred? You don't get mad back, that much is certain (and this is just a tiny bit of the nastyness I've endured; ask me about how my last genuine relationship ended with a bang). You are kind. You don't FIGHT FIRE WITH FIRE; doing so only makes the flame larger.Although I am baffled by the city's, mayor's, and police's apathy, I cannot be angry with those who did this to me. There is only one me. I can GET DOWN IN THE DIRT and use attractive plants to ward off the ugliness. I put out the fire by spreading the idea that not retaliating is like breathing fresh air.Yes, there are bad people, as well as ignorant people. But would becoming mad at them improve or worsen your life? It doesn't follow that you must blank others just because you were blanked over with blanks, does it?The burners in my oven are tidy. They function well, and through my rose-colored glasses I can see the future: soapstone countertops in this 1890s home; the clawfoot tub and floors restored; the windows replaced; and one day, a fence around the garden. There is a way to live without hatred and negativity. It doesn't indicate someone is weak if they don't "go all jerry" at you in return; think about the alternative.

I won't go on and on because these are a quick remedy for rusted-out, outdated plates and they really make the antique stove pop! These are replacing the dated, worn-out burner plates from the store, which long since passed away yet continued to exist as zombies.Everything was better than factory, the GE "True Temp" (MODEL) J BP 26W Y22W (SERIAL) ZS213049G) took these flawlessly, and the stove and cooks were HAPPY AGAIN!I finally decided to spend a little bit extra on these enameled plates; they're practically the same enamel that's on barbecues and...ovens! I looked at numerous plates, and it was confusing. To assist anyone who is unsure about the fitment, I have given images and model numbers.Good fortune.

The 8 inch pan was bent, and the burner wobbles and won't sit level, despite the excellent pricing. I attempted to fix it, but sadly that didn't work. Perfect pans are the 6 inch ones. If they would only replace the 8 inch, that would be good.UPDATE: Without a doubt, excellent customer service! As soon as I contacted the seller, they shipped me a new pan to replace the damaged one. This is the essence of good customer service. I heartily advise making a purchase from them.

These drip trays were a fantastic investment! They are really simple to change, fit precisely onto my Frigidaire stove, and give the appliance a brand-new appearance. The set includes two tiny (7.45" diameter) and two big drip pans (9.35" diameter). The two larger pans came somewhat bent around the corners but were quite easy to bend back into form, unlike my old drip pans can't be bent at all. The material is significantly less sturdy than my old drip pans. Additionally, they only have one "notch" in the rim for the heating element to lock into, and they have a smaller hole for the heating element (compared to three notches on my old one). Nevertheless, they are a great fit, and the heating elements snap in firmly and don't move.To install them, just remove the heating element, replace it, then take out the old drip pans and insert the new ones. It only takes a minute, and cleaning used drip pans is SO MUCH EASIER! I heartily endorse these!

After trying to remove grease off the old ones with a brillo pad but failing, I ordered this pair. I typically get brand-new, standard-size black drip pans at Home Depot. The nicest Christmas present I ever gave to myself was ordering the Kenmore black drip pans for my Kenmore stove top. There were no dings or other imperfections. I instantly observed that the Kenmore pans are just a little bit smaller but fit nicely when I compared them to the universal pans. My pans now lie flat on the electric burner for equal heating over the entire pan. No more uneven frying or eggs that slide to one side. Definitely will buy again and highly recommend.

These are a great fit for the burners on my ancient GE range (model #JBS 27 W). Although they appear to be made of aluminum, they are actually made of lightweight pressed steel (tested with a magnet). You should be aware that they are described in the product description as "chrome." That is hardly accurate in the slightest. It would be much more accurate to refer to their finish as having a brushed, matte, or satin nickel/aluminum look. These will not work for you if you expressly desire the bright shine of chrome. Additionally, the items I received have an additional indentation in the metal above the area where the heating elements plug in, which is not included in the product photographs on the Amazon website. This is just another item to be aware of, not necessarily a bad thing. Although the previous pans I was replacing were made of traditional, vintage chrome, the replacement pans' "satin" finish pleasantly pleased me. They blend in nicely with the other brushed nickel metal finishes I have throughout my home and have a nice appearance.

In my apartment, I have a Hotpoint oven with three little burners and one huge burner. Since I moved in a couple of years ago, the drip pans have gotten dirtier and more challenging to clean. I made the decision to simply get new ones rather than spend hours soaking them, washing them with steel wool, and/or trying to remove the stains. The purchase of this set, which is moderately priced, has spared me numerous hours of aggravation and severe hand and arm discomfort from scrubbing. Having clean, non-flammable drip pans is well worth the cost to prevent me from losing any of my security deposit by damaging them. There were no problems at all; they fit wonderfully. I've included a photo of my stove with the new drip pans for visual comparison as I didn't buy the oven, so I don't know what model it is.

The Stanco 4 Pack GE/Hotpoint Electric Range Chrome Drip Pans are the subject of this review.I discovered quite a few years ago that stove top drip pans can only be cleaned so frequently before they start to break down. Then I understood that you can actually purchase new ones to swap out your old, see-through ones! Since then, I've had the opportunity to replace my drip pans several times and my fingers have never been happier. As I don't know anything about the brands, I typically buy the drip pans at a grocery store like Target so I can see the quality (unless it is the brand of the stove, but those are rather pricey). But this time, I gave the Stanco a try. They are a beautiful, sturdy drip pan that is a bit nicer than the ones I previously had on the stove. Beyond that, their cleaning abilities are comparable. I was eager to install them (yes, that is sad...).If you want to replace your drip pans, I suggest this product. For the sake of your fingertips, do it!

You can clean drip pans with oven cleaner, but it is important to follow the directions on the oven cleaner packaging. You should also wear gloves and a mask to protect yourself from the fumes.
You can put aluminum foil on drip pans, but it may not be the best idea. The foil can prevent heat from evenly distributed, which can cause the food to cook unevenly. It can also cause the foil to stick to the pan, making it difficult to remove.
Stove drip pans are made of metal and can be washed in the dishwasher. However, it is important to check the manufacturer's instructions first to ensure that they are dishwasher-safe. Some drip pans have a non-stick coating that can be damaged by the dishwasher's detergent and high temperatures.
Yes, you can replace drip pans. You can find them at most hardware stores.
There are a few things to consider when purchasing drip pans for your stove. First, you need to know the size of your stove. Most stoves will have either a four-burner or a five-burner configuration. Second, you need to know the size of your burner grates. Burner grates can range in size from about 10 inches to 12 inches. Finally, you need to know the depth of your drip pans. Drip pans can range in depth from about 1 inch to 2 inches. Once you have these measurements, you can purchase drip pans that
