Raswik 4" Privacy Hook and Eye Latch Black-2 Pack Review:

This product is great. This product has a really excellent finish and is made of solid steel with what appears to be a long-lasting black coating. This 2-pack contains all necessary gear, along with very clear installation instructions that include illustrations and a step-by-step walkthrough from beginning to end. Although there are many uses for this product, a wooden door or barn door is where it is best used. can be used to latch a variety of doors, including closet doors, pocket doors, interior and exterior doors, and cabin doors. One step forward, one step backward. With my purchase, I'm pleased.

Self-Locking Gate Latch - Post Mount Automatic Gravity Lever Wood Fence Gate Latches with Fasteners/Black Finish Steel Gate Latch to Secure Pool& Yard Review:

I put some incredibly basic hinges on the two gates of a fence I had built years ago. A tiny drill bit and a ratchet were used to quickly replace them with these. The second kind I owned required numerous alignment adjustments over the years since it was so sensitive to alignment. Since it uses spring locking as opposed to gravity, this one seems to be a little more forgiving. This latching, opening, and closing are all quite smooth. A would repurchase.*Note: My 6 ft wide gate was also secured with a much larger post in the ground. On the back of the latch is an L-shaped piece of metal that should protrude past the post. That rear L had to be hammered flat, and I had to break the piece off. Once I got everything placed, it still felt really strong and had no effect whatsoever on how the latch operated.

Barn Door Lock, 2 Pack 4" Barn Door Latch Lock, Anti-Corrosive Solid Stainless Steel Barn Door Hardware, Upgraded Heavy Duty Hook and Eye Latch, Best for Garage, Window, Shed (Black) Review:

For our storage shed, we bought this barn door latch. We frequently go in and out of it throughout the year, especially now that Halloween and Christmas decorations need to be taken down and stored. The door always closes on me when I'm in there, and it can get very gloomy and difficult to see. Sometimes we spend the entire day working in the shed organizing and doing other things. In less than 5 minutes, my husband put this latch in place. Although they are included, the instructions are not really necessary. The installation is really simple to understand. This perfectly supports the shed door, which is heavy. If we needed more, I'd think about getting more.

Barn Door Lock, 2 Pack 4'' Barn Door Latch, Heavy Duty Solid Thicken Stainless Steel Gate Latch Lock, Add More Security and Privacy. Cabin Hooks and Eye Latch Best for Barn Door, Bathroom Review:

The ideal finishing touch for barn doors inside! They were easy to assemble, and I love the clean aesthetic they provide the space. I'm sure you could use them on a gate. We considered several different locks and styles, but the simplicity of these was ultimately the winner! Aligning, marking, and attaching to the doors took less than three minutes. The nicest thing is that when we have visitors, they can lock the kids out but they can't lock us out! View the images to discover how we incorporated them into our doors.

Alise MS9001 Stainless Steel Flip Latch Gate Latches Bar Latch Safety Door Lock,Brushed Finish Review:

Outstanding latches. I ordered three more after trying one first to see whether I liked it. They appear nice, feel solid, and I appreciate that I can lock them in place. very simple to install Only 1 is installed in the picture; I'll add another tomorrow to the bottom. Two of these are for another project.UPDATE used another two; I can't brag enough about these. I searched everywhere before discovering them since I couldn't believe anything so lovely wouldn't be sold at Home Depot but rather on Amazon. beautiful!!! It's one of those items that feels so lovely to use that you want to keep doing so. The lock fits the aperture precisely and is robust. I don't leave many reviews and I buy a lot of things, therefore I don't have words to describe them. This product has earned my support enough times that I've returned to leave two reviews:)Moreover, I observe that the entrance is on the right and the latch piece is on the left in the image. I utilized them in the opposite order because it doesn't have to be that way. They are adaptable in this way.My cat needs a cage because he urinates all over the place, in case anyone was wondering. I can manage the floors, but peeing on the kitchen counters and stove burners is too much for me.He installed a door to the kitchen, but occasionally we fail to close it, which results in the unpleasant surprise of cooking next to burning cat urine. You had no idea before you smelled it:)While less irritating than peeing on the stoves, peeing in closets and on new laundry is nonetheless disgusting. So sure, the only thing I could think of was a cage with toys, shelves, and beds.

JQK Door Hasp Latch Lock, 5 Inch 304 Stainless Steel Safety Packlock Clasp Thickness 1.9 mm, Brushed Finish, DL130-BN Review:

A sturdy lock that should withstand salt air. Smooth operation, although I didn't use the tiny screws that came with it. They might have worked as the hinges I purchased from another vendor also came with tiny screws, but I opted to go with larger ones that were 1 1/2" long to better suit the chamfer. The only other point is that the keeper's hole size has a very narrow tolerance for the throw bolt, thus even the smallest misalignment from settling will require lifting the gate in order to operate the bolt. That has the advantage of preventing the gate from swinging back and forth in a breeze. Overall, pleased with the product.

Trident 10 Inch Tall Black Magnetic Pool Child Safety Gate Latch | Keyed Alike | TRIDENT-10-BK-KA Review:

Exceptionally well-made item that installs and performs as promised. Update: The latch has been on the gate for a few months, and while it continues to function as intended, the edges of the plastic are beginning to go from black to light gray. Although I don't believe it will now impede operation, the discolouration is disheartening, especially as I have two other gates with locks that are MUCH older (and from a different OEM) that still appear to be in pristine condition.

National Hardware N236-612 850 Door & Gate Springs in Black, 14" Review:

This product is straightforward and completes the task at hand. (1) The end labeled Top (with the white sticker on the nut) goes up and attaches to the door is the trick for a simple installation. Install on the side of the door with the hinges, then (3) slip in the little strip that secures the nut in place after rotating the nut just one side (approximately 1/6 of a full rotation) with a crescent wrench or an equivalent tool. Check to check if there is sufficient tension to close the door. If necessary, repeat. You may want to loop a small piece of wire through the small strip's hole to prevent the loss of that important little tab. You might wish to use a 1/8" pilot hole if your wood is dense.
