QuadBoss 2in. Receiver Hitch
$234
Strong construction! fits 2" trailer hitches without any slack, unlike other receivers that I've encountered. Much more durable than less priced hitches, which typically end up loosening themselves up and just have a single bolt installation. less than 30 minutes to install. To insert the hitch plate into the current frame, simply remove and loosen the bolts as directed. Have someone pick up the back end of the bike to relieve strain from the frame. Bolts that were removed and loosened during installation should be reinstalled and tightened.

Ok, so I totally bought this on a whim. I had it on my wishlist out of curiosity for a long. With only a few minutes left to place my order and still meet my delivery deadline, I decided to add this item to my basket in order to exceed the required minimum order quantity for the add-ons.I simply removed it after it came. It seemed lighter and more angularly shaped than I had anticipated at first. I had anticipated it would be a somewhat weighty instrument, but it is not. I decided to try it because I had a minute to spare. I had my equal-i-zer hitch, which is a very substantial hitch, stored in the storage area of my trailer. I recall thinking, "eh. I will still probably need to get it out of the container before using this," but that was incorrect. I had no trouble slipping it over the ball while it was in the compartment because the profile is so small. I just grabbed hold of the hitch where it was and didn't even have to move it first. I also thought, "Okay, how much of a balancing act is it to carry it about with this?" When I carried it, I saw it slipping off and bouncing off the ground. Once more, the design showed me that I was worried unnecessarily: thanks to the way it is made, the ball slides onto it and is cradled with hardly any effort on your side. Oh my gawd...what didn't I have of these 20 years ago?!?!?! I literally yelled to myself as I lifted it out of the storage container with one hand. I had the impression that I could have easily carried the object with one hand down the street. This device is incredible. To set the scene for you... I don't need this because I don't have back issues and can lift the hitch just fine on my own. However, using this gadget completely eliminates the unpleasant carrying you would normally experience when handling these items. I assert that I am strong enough to lift weights without assistance typically, but I should add that I do not have an athletic, muscular frame. This item is quite helpful in putting the hitch's center of gravity in the best position for a carry. In addition to carrying it, using this to remove it from my storage compartment without fumbling with it was also considerably simpler.Take this. even when you feel like you don't need it. Simply grab this. It is incredibly affordable. I'm very happy to have this as another helpful tool in the arsenal!

arrived as scheduled. decent pricing. I should have ordered a trailer that was less in weight. Despite being robust, it didn't fit the hitch well. The lighter one, I suppose, would have been all I needed and fit a little bit better. This one will probably loosen up after some use. However, don't purchase it for a smaller trailer despite its good quality.

simple installation procedures. took a little over 2.5 hours from beginning to end (set up to cleaned up). For the last hole to be drilled through the frame on either side, you need a sharp drill bit.A few misspellings in the instructions indicate that they were not written in the US. No huge deal. The only step, which only requires a few minutes, requires two persons to get it bolted in. When attaching the hitch to the vehicle, take care not to press the bolts back into the frame. The fact that the mufflers are right up near the hitch's supports is a little concerning. It makes me question if the exhaust heat transfer will fry off the paint and cause it to corrode.

I ride with my best friend and have three different bikes. In addition, I have a 46-pound goldendoodle who enjoys riding in a Burley tail cart. I adore being able to take my dog for rides on any of my bikes. It's also great that my best friend's bike has a hitch so that she can take turns hauling when she gets bored of waiting for us to catch up. It is simple to install and works well. And moving the moppet on my friend's bike was a lot simpler for us. When I was having asthma troubles one day when we were riding, we wanted to swap her to the second bike. This operation went much more quickly and easily after purchasing another hitch.

The process of getting my new trailer package to work was made simple by this. It literally only took two minutes to install; I removed the ball, set this in place, and then replaced it. All it took was that, so it couldn't be simpler! This plate is hefty, but not so thick that it forces you to buy new items. I have a standard ball, so I was a little worried that I might need to buy a new one with longer threads. There are no issues there because there is still enough length on the ball for a few threads to extend past the end of the nut.My Reese hitch can completely accommodate the cutout. Once the ball is cinched down, neither side-to-side nor rotational play is possible.I haven't figured out all the engineering details, but I just can't picture this thing bending before you pop a weld on your trailer tongue. This is hard steel and is quite strong with the flange. Although this is the final piece of that connection I would anticipate failing, keep in mind that it's always a good idea to remove your sway bar before backing up.

strong product simple to install It took some work to "break" the bolt off of the ATV, but once it was, it was quickly mounted. Although the tight bolt isn't a hitch problem, you should be advised that to remove the Honda fasteners, you might need to use force or an impact wrench. Other than that, nothing much went wrong with the hitch. It's well-made, and the welds and finish appear to be of a high caliber and level of professionalism.

Okay, so I recently purchased a new Super Duty F250, which included the HD hitch with the 2.5 "receiver. Of course my hitch is two for weight distribution "I had to buy a new shank or this adaptor, so. It lines up perfectly with the Ford OEM receiver, and the hitch assembly is likewise straight. It takes a little practice to get every hole lined up JUST RIGHT so that the hitch pin can pass through, but once you do, you're good to go. However, it is sloppy and shakes when loaded or emptied. I purchased a Curt anti-rattle bracket, however it would only clamp over one section, so it only makes a slight improvement and leaves the bracket still free. I might just need to get a bigger shank, but I'll ride with this for the time being. There are brakes on the adapter so it will only go so far in, and I am almost at the stops with mine. It works and it will make things safe, but just be aware that it is loose when fitted and that if your receiver is deeper than the Ford unit you may not be able to get the holes to line up. Overall, I had no surprises with how well this worked.

This took me approximately 15 minutes to install on my own. A second person, though, would be beneficial. To make the bolts easy to remove, jack up the machine's back sufficiently. No heavy loads allowed on the tires. Use the original bolts rather than the ones the receiver came with. To align the bolts with the holes, the wheels must be gently pushed side to side, and it also helps to slightly raise or lower the jack. I'm not sure if it matters which bolts are installed first, but I did it that way and it seems to work well. I installed the bottom two bolts first, followed by the top two. On my 2018 1000 XP 4, it requires an 18 mm socket and straight wrench, which I didn't have, so I used a 3/4". Had I known it was metric in advance, I would have purchased the appropriate socket and tool.
A class 5 hitch is the strongest type of hitch and can typically pull between 12,000 and 20,000 pounds.
Curt hitches are a popular choice among trailer owners and for good reason. Curt hitches are known for their quality construction and durability. They offer a wide variety of hitch types to fit any trailer, and their customer service is excellent. I have never had a problem with my Curt hitch, and I would recommend them to anyone.
There are pros and cons to both round and square hitches, so it really depends on what you need and want from your hitch. Round hitches are typically easier to install and remove, and they offer a tight fit that can be difficult to achieve with square hitches. On the other hand, square hitches offer more stability and are less likely to come loose. If you're looking for a hitch that will be easy to install and remove, and that offers a tight fit, a round hitch is a good option. If you're looking for a hitch that offers more stability and is
A hitch is a device that helps to connect two objects together. There are four main types of hitches: ball hitches, pin and clip hitches, receiver hitches, and fifth wheel hitches. Ball hitches are the most common type of hitch and are typically used to connect a trailer to a vehicle. Pin and clip hitches are typically used to connect a boat trailer to a vehicle. Receiver hitches are typically used to connect a bike rack or other type of carrier to a vehicle. Fifth wheel hitches are typically used to connect a large trailer to a vehicle.
There are three types of hitches: the ball hitch, the bumper hitch, and the weight-distributing hitch. The ball hitch is the most common type of hitch and is used to tow trailers. The bumper hitch is used to tow smaller trailers and is mounted to the bumper of the vehicle. The weight-distributing hitch is used to tow heavier trailers and distributes the weight evenly between the vehicle and the trailer.
A 7500 lb hitch is a class III hitch. This means that it is designed to tow up to 7,500 pounds. It is a bit more expensive than a class II hitch, but it is worth the investment if you plan on towing a lot of weight.
