Four convex, rimless circular mirrors are included in the set, along with four swivel mounts. The back of each of these components features double-sided tape for quick installation. I've worn them for a few days now with no problems. They're holding up to the heat so far, but we still need to test how they do in rainy or snowy weather. Let me first just briefly explain why I had to replace my side mirror in the first place. A lowlife crack addict who gave my 19-year-old daughter false information struck her. She must have forgotten that she could still call 911 even if she had no service at the moment because her phone was disconnected. She did manage to capture a photo of the man's license, even though he gave her incorrect information about his insurance and phone number. She was able to locate him thanks to good ol' Facebook, but it was also on this platform that we learned he was an uninsured crack addict. I then made a police report (though I'm not sure what good it serves when the responsible party has no insurance). I was essentially told to submit a claim with my insurance. So I made the decision to have the mirror fixed myself rather than file a claim with my insurance, which may make it much more expensive. I had been delaying the cost of a repair shop for about two weeks when a buddy of mine advised I get the mirror from Amazon and install it myself. It was difficult to remove my old mirror, but after I did, putting the new one in was simple. It also completely matched my car and the other mirror!

My 2002 Grand Cherokee's original side mirror was worn out and would rock back and forth. This replacement arrived right away and was well-packaged. The rubber bumpers on the corner and the threaded mounting posts were on a cotton bag that contained the item. You only need to remove the door panel to complete the installation. Considering how brittle and quickly they shatter, panel clips will certainly need to be replaced. The mirror is secured by three nuts; if the old foam between the body and the mirror doesn't come out with the old mirror, make careful to remove it. The wire harness is then simply reconnected, and the door panel is changed. After using it for approximately a month, there have been no issues with the device. It resembles the OEM mirror in every way.

This is a fantastic offer. I rated it with 4 1/2 stars. The fact that the OEM has a sizable "tab" that serves as a "keeper" and centers the mirror and the bolts is the only feature that differentiates it from a 5 out of 10. However, this is not a significant deal and in no way makes installation more challenging. It was efficiently packed and delivered. This replacement mirror was 30% less expensive than the used original I had previously replaced with from a salvage yard. Without a doubt, I'd buy this one again.

Even at low speeds and generally smooth roads, there is still a significant amount of vibration, but they are useful for viewing traffic and backing into a parking space at church or work. (important for a speedy exit). The vibration is significant, not severe, and bears considering. That is to say, if you have ever driven a 1980s CJ, they are just as good as factory mirrors, but they are nowhere like as stable as the production mirrors on the JT they replace. The mirrors are the proper prescription as long as you can savor the nostalgia and have a realistic expectation. If they hadn't been advertised as minimal vibration, I would have given them a 5-star rating.It would be excellent in terms of design if the mirrors' hinge screws matched those on the doors. one fewer tool to install and two fewer bits to track. To avoid movement or creep on the hinge during operation, the mirrors must be very firmly fastened. Instead of a travel stop next to the door stop, why not? It could necessitate slightly different hardware for Left and Right, but it could also aid in tying the mirrors to the chassis to lessen vibration without requiring additional hardware.
