The seller of the PSVR system I acquired on eBay neglected to include this important component. I went to Amazon for next-day shipping because I had to try out my new item right away. I can attest that this functions flawlessly with the first-generation VR headset processor (perhaps with the second generation as well; I see no reason why not, but I don't want to make claims I can't substantiate).

Functions as intended. So far, no connection issues. A more stable attaching method would be excellent, as would the colour and texture matching. It is slightly taller than the PlayStation due to the addition of rubber feet. even with a price hike. I've connected a 4 TB hard drive and a VR charging station. All is well thus far.

I originally purchased a PS4 controller to use with a PC, and I was running the DS4Windows program with a generic USB Bluetooth adapter (required to make it show up as an Xbox controller, because Microsoft). With that setup, I was seeing increasing amounts of controller d/c due to the third-party tool's fussiness and instability. A MicroUSB cable was more dependable, however after just one week the USB hole started to come loose and shoot out.The Sony adapter has never disconnected once, and the fine control provided by the analog sticks is far superior to that of the alternatives. When you calibrate your controllers in Windows and in Steam Big Picture mode (when playing Steam games), you'll be shocked at how much better it performs.The lone piece of setup information is on the first page of the enormous multilingual manual; it states that there is no visible pairing button on the adapter and that pairing mode is activated by pushing the entire device in for around 4 seconds. The Share button on the controller must then be held down until it flashes quickly.It just lacks the capability to check the battery's charge level. Just make sure to keep your controller charged because there is no notification when you are going low.

Due to the fact that this product was cheap, my expectations were low. I mostly wanted this so I could use an Xbox One controller and plug it into my Switch. I followed the steps that were provided, and holy cow, it actually worked! I can't really tell from hands-on use if there is any noticeable input lag, but for casual gaming, it works great. Additionally, it enables a cable connection in the event that you want not to play wirelessly. Some controllers need to be connected via the device's USB port (the PS3 is one of them) in order to create a wireless connection. Overall, I'm quite pleased with this device's versatility!
