These are enormous! Even though the size is stated in the listing, it didn't really sink in till they arrived.These also have a high-quality feel about them. They are not made of flimsy plastic that breaks when touched. They are doing well so far in our school garden. We use saucers to help clean up the mess caused by the kids frequently overfilling the plants. We haven't had to throw any of them away yet, but they're not the gentlest either.I'll most certainly be purchasing more of them in the future for the kids to use.

I finally made the decision to hunt for a drip tray that actually fit well and didn't detract from the beauty of my planter because I had a magnificent oval ceramic planter. This performs flawlessly! I've never seen plastic that is both thicker and nicer than this. And instead of the usual plastic that protrudes out on the bottom, there are five little non-slip rubber guards on each one. I concur with another reviewer in saying that these are made of very thin material, but they should be adequate for my houseplants. I enjoy these and bought a lot for my mother because she actually has over a hundred plants both inside and outside and does a lot of gardening throughout the year. They appear weak, and in a way they are, but they will hold up just long enough for her to finish her yardwork. The bottom of the bowls are thinner. A pot with a 6" bottom will not fit in the 6" dish, despite the fact that the dimension provided does not match the size of pot that will fit (this is normal and what I anticipated). Compared to the cheap ones I get at the grocery store, these are a touch less fragile. Even if they are filled with water, I still wouldn't try to pick them up with one hand. To prevent it from buckling and spilling, or at least the large ones, you must support both sides. The best deal I could find on Amazon overall.

My error. I was unaware that the bottom of the container was meant to have an unseen drain hole through which water could escape. Or perhaps there was supposed to be a drain hole there in the first place.Hey, to me it appeared to be solid, yet it leaked. I thus used Magic Putty to fix the hole. As a birdbath now, it fits in well and does its purpose.None of the products I've previously bought from this category have leaked. So be it.Winter Update for 2019-02: At -30 degrees, the Magic Putty in the drain hole melted and fell out, letting the water run off. For the time being, I set out a smaller dish; I'll try some J-B Weld epoxy after that.

These sturdy saucers suit the 5 and 3 gallon nursery pots with mold injection that I have scattered throughout my home on hardwood flooring. The older ones, who are currently about nine months old, continue to get soaked a few times a month. This is the second time I've ordered them. I bought these since it was becoming quite the effort to lug all of my indoor plants back and forth to the sink area to water them. I purposely purchased this to use as a birdbath rather than a plant saucer (it gets quite hot in my state in the summer). The items being marketed as birdbaths here are extremely pricey and, to be honest, don't appear to be physically suitable or big enough for usage by birds of different sizes (as well as to quench the thirst of nocturnal animals who would also use it). The Bloem Terra 20" saucer has proven to be a fantastic remedy. It is quite durable, has a good neutral taupe color, and is wide enough to fit both large and tiny birds. It looks fantastic and I added pebbles to provide the smaller birds better traction when swimming. Bloem's saucer is by far the best item available here that serves the role of a birdbath, and for $6.85, it's also a fantastic deal. This year, both the birds and I will be content.
