If you enjoy grilling outdoors, then you may be wondering if an electric grill is worth the investment. While charcoal and gas grills have been the traditional choice for many years, electric grills offer several advantages that may make them worth considering. For one, electric grills are much easier to start than charcoal grills. You simply turn them on and they're ready to go, no lighter fluid or matches required. They also produce less smoke than other types of grills, so if you're grilling in your backyard, your neighbors won't be bothered by the smell.
An electric grill can be used outside as long as it is placed on a level surface. If the grill is not level, the food will not cook evenly. Be sure to use caution when handling the grill and keep children and pets away from the area.
Yes, you can grill in 20 degree weather. You will need to dress warmly and make sure your grill is properly preheated before cooking.
You can, but it's not going to work as well as it would inside. The cold weather will make it harder for the grill to maintain a consistent temperature, meaning your food will take longer to cook. In addition, any moisture in the air will condense on the grill, making it more difficult to clean.

The caliber definitely took me by surprise. I choose Lodge cast iron because I am a lover of the brand. I made the decision to take a chance because of the excellent price and the positive reviews. I'm so happy I did! It has a sizable, sturdy handle and is large enough, but not too so, to hold most steaks. The Jim Beam emblem is really popular with my hubby. It becomes a macho instrument, he claimed! LOL! Moreover, I purchased the Jim Beam steam cover. It's a fantastic set!

We are not permitted to have charcoal or propane barbecues in our new apartment. We love BBQ and were determined to find a method to keep eating the meals we love in the summer. We looked to see if there were any kind of electric barbecues because we previously owned a George Foreman counter top cooking equipment. We were thrilled to find this grill! Before Memorial Day, we purchased it and had our customary BBQ. We all loved how our food turned out, including our entire family. The fact that this grill may be utilized with or without the stand is one of its best features. This grill was used directly on our kitchen table before being placed out of the way on the counter. This was amazingly simple to clean, which was my husband's favorite feature! We are extremely excited and prepared for the impending summer vacations!

The best grill imaginable! There are only 4 people living in my house, so the 1400 grill is a better option for the amount of grilling required. I had previously bought the 2400 grill. For gatherings of four or more people, the 2400 grill is ideal. Tonight I used my grill, and the meat was absolutely perfect! After 30 minutes, it was finished. I purchased a perfectly sized triangle-shaped table off of Facebook Marketplace for $20. I then purchased copper sheeting to cover the table, added a couple hooks to the outside, and now I have a barbecue table. I will use this grill a lot because I love it so much. I can't wait to start grilling burgers and then get a grill plate so I can cook eggs and other morning items on it along with bacon. I love my bacon! Following that, I intend to purchase the side table inserts that fit into the handles. Just make sure to choose the appropriate sized grill cover because they accommodate both sizes of grills. This grill is unavailable in stores, thus we are grateful for Amazon and Amazon to sell it! For the first time in my life, I enjoy grilling! I'm hoping to use this barbecue for a long time!

Like other condo residents, I am limited to using an electric BBQ on my patio deck. In all fairness, the Char-Broil TRU-Infrared Patio Bistro Electric Grill had served me well for the previous five years and held up nicely. It ultimately reached the point where I required a replacement. I had always been frustrated by how long it took to heat up and how rapidly the temperature dropped when the lid was opened. Additionally, it was slow, taking 4-5 minutes each side for medium-rare hamburgers with little charring. I decided to try this Weber after reading the reviews. It did not let me down. Compared to the Char-Broil, it heated up rapidly (15–20 minutes) and maintained heat considerably better. I typically cook 1.5" steaks for 8 minutes per side to achieve medium rare. Steaks that were cooked on the Weber for 7 minutes per side came out medium-well and well scorched. I'll attempt 5–6 minutes per side the next time. Why just four stars? Weber chose not to include a thermometer for some reason. very infuriating The thermometer from the Char-Broil could be taken out and put on the Weber. See image. I was using a smoker box that was placed on top of the grill plate, which is why there is smoke in the photo. worked perfectly.

This is a really early assessment since I've only owned the Grillbot for about a week. Every spring, I give my grill a thorough cleaning, which I did this past Saturday. The grates were the only item I neglected to clean, and upon closer inspection, I realized why—since I had the grill covered for the winter. I placed the Grillbot on the grill, set it for 10 minutes, and then covered it. The grates appeared as though I had personally used a wire brush to clean them when I opened the grill after it had finished cleaning. That evening, the Grillbot cleaned up everything after I grilled a number of cheeseburgers. Tonight I made steaks, and once more after using the Grillbot, the grates appeared to have been freshly cleaned.I have a sizable 5-burner gas grill, and to be completely honest, I definitely had my doubts about it at first. However, so far, I'm impressed. I only rated it four stars because I haven't used the entire grill at a party and gotten it "truly" messy. I will update my review once I have done that, but for now, I would suggest it.I have to admit that I'm a sucker for new technology, so when I first heard about this item last year, I couldn't wait to give it a try. It's undoubtedly a "luxury" purchase, and I believe that if they could lower the price to between $50 and $60, they would sell a lot more units. A $30 grill brush with four interchangeable heads that I bought from Costco last year is dreadful. If the Grillbot keeps cleaning like it has thus far, I won't ever purchase another grill brush.Updated on 7/21/14I must change my rating from 4 stars to 2 1/2 stars now that I have owned the Grillbot for three months. I must admit that the Grillbot is less effective now that I've had two or three very sizable BBQs than it was when I only minimally used my grill. The primary cause is applying marinades and BBQ sauce to food. The Grillbot just cannot handle that stuff because it adheres so strongly to the grates. Now, in order to get those material off, I must physically clean. The brushes also seem to be degrading quickly, despite the fact that I've only used it 20 or fewer times. It has also caused me some trouble with the battery charging. Thus, in conclusion. The Grillbot works well for light cooking, but for harder grilling, I still need to use the manual brush, which seems excessive given the $125 price tag.A second update 5/25/16*** IT IS DEAF!I only used my Grillbot 30 times in total over the course of two summer seasons before it stopped working. After plugged in, the device appears to be charging, but it won't operate, and even when it's disconnected, the blue charging indicator won't turn off. Really, I don't think the battery is the problem; it appears to be a hardware issue. The firm requested payment of $45 plus shipping in an email. After all was said and done, I calculated that to be roughly $65; to me, that is simply not worth it.Updated on 7/13/16The vendor got in touch with me and sent me a fresh unit. I appreciated them for doing this since I think it was honorable of them to do so. So far, the new device has performed flawlessly. The brushes appear to be of higher quality now than they were two years ago. I used the new equipment to clean both of my grills multiple times, and the outcomes were excellent. I'm giving Grillbots another four stars based on their performance so far. I'll provide another report at the conclusion of the summer.

After ten years, the horror of my life deserted me at the age of 50 and fled with an east coast man who had family money. I moved from a suburban home with a massive stainless steel grill equipped with side burners, electric lights, a rotisserie, and even an oven to a one-bedroom apartment where gas or charcoal grills are not permitted. I enjoy grilling. I discovered the George Foreman indoor/outdoor grill after looking for answers. My first one lasted for four years and was still functioning, but I opted to "retire" it because I was relocating 2600 miles. As soon as I got to my new location, I bought my second one. I also gave one as a gift to a friend who likewise resided in a structure that forbade the use of gas or charcoal. After five years and numerous moves to different apartments, I am once again content to live in a house. For the past year, even though I had the space for any grill I desire, I kept going to "George" for my grilling requirements. But after five years of weekly use, my second dependable George Foreman eventually died. I've used these grills at least once a week for the past nine years. These are great if you don't have access to gas or charcoal and live in an apartment or condo. Even though I now live in my own home once more, I recently took possession of my third "George" because I adore the grills so much. I have three of these and have given away a fourth since I think they are so excellent. I cook mostly fish, steaks, pork, and some vegetables on it. It works excellent, and having the option to give it five stars is nice.

Anyone who enjoys smoky flavors and leisurely home cooking should go with this. I have read about and researched pellet grills for some time, but this is my first time using one. I was searching for an outdoor cooking solution that would enable me to prepare meals like an expert without using a huge trailer. I finally chose the Camp Chef, and I haven't been let down. The perfect temperature control allows you to slow down the cooking. I recently smoked chicken, and the red smoke ring was about 1/2 inch deep. There are no chilly or hot spots because it operates like a convection oven; it merely maintains an even, constant temperature. I've seen that wood flavors are present even when there isn't smoke pouring out.Its distinctive cooking design emphasizes slow cooking. Although it doesn't get hot enough to sear thin meat cuts like steaks, it does produce a really flavorful smoke. It therefore does not meet all of your needs for outdoor cooking, but if you enjoy slow cooking, it is excellent.Pro'sthe taste of hardwood.temperature management. Two turkeys can be cooked on the spacious surface.dumping tray for simple cleanup.Probe For Temperature.restart after a power outageCon'sPellets are difficult to remove from the hopper for storage. I doubt I'll ever need that.following up after six months.Giving it five stars now!Even after preparing nearly 100 dinners, I still adore it. It continues to operate despite the occasional good day, rain, and snow. I'm about to grill brats today. My Weber grill is never used, so I'm planning to sell it. With high-quality pellets, I found you can grill successfully at temperatures as high as 450. I don't even take the pellets out of the hopper until you want to switch flavors because the camp chef grill cover keeps them dry in the hopper. To keep the weather out, I did have to seal the hopper handle around the rivets, but other than that, it is fairly secure. See how the photo is dripping with smoke. One year later, and I'm still thrilled with my purchase. My brisket is superior to many renowned BBQ restaurants I've visited in Missouri, Tennessee, and Texas, however I have no interest in competing in professional BBQ competitions. That isn't just my opinion; a lot of my friends concur with it and have also urged me to participate in several regional tournaments. For pellet grills, this cooker continues to offer the finest price/performance ratio. I've been hunting for a bigger rig once more, but I haven't found anything better. This is the grill you want if you're looking for an entry-level pellet grill. It does leak smoke everywhere, so don't let the reviews that mention it leaking or not sealing well deter you. Look at the image I included with my review to check for yourself that it does, but wouldn't it be foolish to purchase a smoker who doesn't smoke? You will notice that the majority of smokers at BBQ competitions also leak smoke.I sincerely hope that my review is helpful and can assure you that I am delighted with my purchase and would make the same choice again.Still going after two years. For the past two years, I have used this cooker at least once per week. Recently, I experienced a few problems getting it to work, and I worried that it might be experiencing a significant problem. Since I use it so frequently, it really ought to be outdated by now. Here is what I found out. The temperature probe on the grill had accumulated carbon, causing inaccurate readings. I suspected the temperature probe, so I used an external one to confirm that it was wrong by at least 50 degrees. I take it that the readings were so inaccurate that the grill controller simply turned it off as a fail safe? Steel wool for 30 seconds gets us back to work. The veteran camp cook is moving to a new residence. On two occasions, despite rain, snow, and strong winds, it was blown off the terrace. Even with a few dings and scrapes, it still functions well. This weekend, my son, who is travelling down from North Carolina, will pick it up from me because a Yoder YS-640 has taken its place. The yoder is larger, heavier, and can produce more btu as needed. However, the camp chef still cooks excellent brisket and is simpler to clean.Another update: As of 07/2019, the grill has lasted five years. It still belongs to my son's family, who adore it. So I suppose it has also passed the test of time and weather.

When I first laid eyes on this blue grill, I was immediately drawn to it; its color is stunning. After receiving it, I can't wait to use it to grill steak for my family; it works faster than I anticipated, and I am extremely delighted. It took some time to install, but thankfully it comes with thorough instructions. It's not all that high. Children and the elderly will find this height to be quite convenient. Since there were no reviews on Amazon when I purchased it, I assumed it would be comparable to other El Patio grills made by Charbroil.Unfortunately, when I connected it to a 240v supply, I fried the element. D'oh.The incorrect element was then arranged. TWICE D'OHInformation and parts for this new grill are very scarce on the Charbroil website. It turns out that the sticker on the grill indicates the INCORRECT element number as 29104990 after I called their call center. The appropriate replacement component is #55711039. This must be resolved right away.Having said that, this grill is a kick ass and comes from an Aussie guy who sold a much-loved Weber Q LPG barbecue (damned building owners!) and was wary about electric grills.Assembly was rather simple. 30 minutes, a few beers, and some cuss words. The appliance looks fantastic and is expertly manufactured. Why don't the other colors appear on Amazon? Both the additional warming rack and the shelves are wonderful extras. The grease tray design is the one element that really falls short with this appliance. To slide into grooves like the Weber Q tray, it should be redesigned. Instead, the tray must "grasp" the guiding rails, which requires occasionally fussy lining up.Other than that, I really have no complaints about this barbecue.I combined it with these things to create a fantastic BBQ setup.55-178-015101-EC Classic Accessories Taupe Ravenna Kettle Grill Cover (This looks fantastic and fits the grill like a glove.)18" Grill Brush by Alpha Grillers The best grill brush ever (BEST>GRILL>BRUSH>EVER)Enjoy Perfectly Cooked Kebabs Every Time With These 18" Stainless Steel BBQ Skewers From GrillHogsGLORIOUS GRILLERSafter a few uses, update;Like no other barbecue, this one can cook beef and chicken. Mine only reached 375°F/200°C after an hour of waiting and testing. Still sufficient to slow roast, so I can't say I'm truly upset. The grill plate is more difficult to clean with my barbecue brush (see above) than the cast iron grill plate on the Weber Q because of its steeply slanted ribs. I might need to purchase a brush that is narrower.BUTSincerly, the quality of the meat that is produced is definitely worth the effort. rapid shipment And it's packed neatly. This grill is absolutely great. It does slightly wobble, as stated in a review, but I fixed it by applying glue to the pole near the base of the pole. (However, avoid doing this if you intend to use the upper grill indoors.) It's now quite strudy. It doesn't get hot enough, according to what I've read. I dont found that to be true. I suppose the person who complained about this didnt have the dial turned to the appropriate setting. Because when I first tried to use it, I unintentionally did that myself. You need to turn the arrow in the opposite direction from how you anticipate. So, it can be a little perplexing, but it does get hot enough and cook the meat evenly. Cleaning up is a breeze. I appreciate its compact design and versatility. Overall, I'm happy I bought it and would suggest it.
Yes, you can leave your Weber electric grill outside. Just be sure to keep it clean and covered when not in use.
You can, but it's not necessary. Foil reflects heat, so if you are using an electric grill, the foil will help to distribute the heat evenly.
You can put wood chips in an electric grill, but you need to soak them in water for 30 minutes first. Then, drain the water and put the wood chips in a foil pouch. Poke a few holes in the top of the pouch so the smoke can escape. Place the foil pouch directly on the grill grates and preheat the grill to the highest setting. When the grill is hot, reduce the heat to medium and cook the food as desired.
Yes, you can use an electric grill in the rain. However, you will need to be careful and use caution. Make sure that the grill is covered and that you are not using it in an area where there is a lot of water. Also, make sure that the cords are not wet and that you are not using the grill near any source of water.
While electric grills don't give off the same smoky flavor as charcoal or gas grills, they can still provide a delicious grilled taste. To get the most flavor from your electric grill, try marinating your food in a smoky BBQ sauce or rub before cooking. You can also add wood chips to your grill to create a smoky flavor.
Electric grills typically take longer to cook than gas or charcoal grills. This is because electric grills heat up more slowly and evenly, which is ideal for cooking food thoroughly without burning it. However, there are some electric grills that have a faster cooking time, so it really depends on the grill you have. In general, though, electric grills do take a bit longer to cook than other types of grills.
