I purchased this for Christmas for my 8 and 11 year old boys. They cherish them! straightforward, logical assembly. They now appear to be more "tactical," which is "great". My 8-year-old can operate it with ease even with everything attached. They have used them twice, one in the mud and rain with no problems at all. Additionally, the upgrade parts on the markers provide them options and make gift-buying simple.

I used one of these to learn how to play paintball. I was aware that it was excellent and simple to keep up. My favorite. Purchase the Tippmann Response Trigger Kit for 98 Custom, Project Salvo, and Alpha Black Elite Markers as well as the Tippmann Cyclone Feeder System if you can.

Really pleased with kit. All of our expectations were realised. We did learn that the neighbourhood paintball field only utilises high pressure air and that the CO2 tank that comes with the gun cannot be used for air, so we had to get another one, but it was our fault for not doing our research. When first used, the barrel broke a few balls, but after adjusting the pressure according to the directions, everything worked perfectly.

Gun runs without a hitch. Expect slow, gradual firing instead than rapid, fast firing like a good triggered ar15. Trigger pull is about 2.5 lb. It was crono'd at 155 fps right out of the box. The deviation would be between /-15 and 20 fps once it reached the legal rates (275 fps).Using Valken graffiti paint, which is really just below competition quality paint, I upgraded to the Apex 2 barrel and utilized it for a few hours in several matches. Shots were being fired everywhere with zero accuracy. The velocity range had a /- 10 to 12 fps fluctuation, which was marginally better. I placed an order for a sniper barrel in the hopes that it will significantly reduce my groupings. Since a paint to barrel match is essential, I cannot criticize the pistol. The mechanics are excellent. Other than a spare magazine I bought that occasionally doesn't feed all the bullets, I haven't experienced any functionality difficulties. Gun has a lot of potential for a less expensive mag fed option, however to increase accuracy, I'd advise getting a 98 custom barrel with a.683 or.685 bore. The handguard isn't quite loose after one day on the field, but it does have some shift to it, another issue I noted. Although it's not a significant deal, I became aware of it when I installed a laser on the rail. There are aftermarket m4 barrel nut adapters, so bear that in mind.Edit 2: I used a Tippmann 16-inch sniper barrel, and its performance was comparable to that of the stock barrel (inconsistent vertical stringing and inconsistent horizontal stringing with the stock and 16" sniper barrel I maybe got a 2ft group with some flyers that stretched to 5 ft at 45ft target distance). With a /- 15 to 18 fps variance, the velocity inconsistency was roughly the same as that of the factory barrel. The apex 2 had some far flyers horizontally and was more constant vertically, but it would also group by around 2 feet at 45 feet from the target. In order to actually get some accuracy out of this, I bought a Gog weird barrel kit. I find it absurd that most manufacturers overbore their barrels at.690 considering the majority of paintballs are between.684 and.687 in size. results in shots that are erratic and unpredictable. You will need to purchase an underbore barrel or a freak barrel with inserts to match the paint to the barrel if you want accuracy with this pistol. I spoke with some other players who were using the TMC, and they concurred that it lacks precision.Third update: The Gog crazy barrel kit is a miracle for tightening groups. The best course of action with these weapons. With this pistol, I have had no luck with overbores barrels.Update 4: It shoots rather consistently following the addition of the Gog weird barrel, better paint, polishing the interior of the shells where the bolt and hammer slide against, and adding a kill house bolt.Update 5: The shroud does loosen up after being used for a few months. The weird kit is still the finest barrel for this. This thing became a laser after I ran a.679 sleeve while adjusting the velocity. With its weird barrel and a velocity of 250–255 fps, this specific rifle appears to shoot the best. At 50 feet, it can actually stack shots on top of each other. The accuracy declined as the velocity increased. Keep in mind that these inexpensive weapons are not soft shooting air systems, making velocity and bore matching essential.

After a ten-year break, I just recently returned to paintball, and I must say, WOW, how technology has improved. After around five uses and an equal number of cases of paint pushed through it, I have had absolutely no problems. Ions were formerly the only alternative at this price point that was worthwhile, however this item is around 100 times better. Although you should tune your regulator and bolt cap (fired at about 260 fps out of the box), this gun still throws ropes of paint down range even if you don't. A cheat sheet and not quite a manual were also included with mine, but if you're reading this, I assume you can Google and download the.pdf version.

Everyone on the field was looking at what I was shooting since it made such a big noise. The gun looks amazing, handles great, is light weight, and has good sound quality. I hear that after about 20 to 25 rounds will reduce the fps, but I'm not sure how many more shots you will have in the co2 cartridge after those initial 20 to 25 dry shots. First shot on crono was 385 after a full chamber was used got it down to about 345 fps making it unusable on the field. One and only problem is that you can't adjust air pressure or the fps on it shoots really hot.So now that it has been updated, one of my favorite weapons in my arsenal will shoot 235 fps if you can sand down or machine down the front of the chambers by roughly a quarter inch.

So, around 2001, when I introduced paintball to all of my buddies, I bought one of these. We always played in the woods, so I didn't have access to a chronograph, so I bought one. Anyone who has played paintball is aware that there are two types of paintball pain: the agony of being hit and the pain of being hit by a paintball that is moving too quickly. Because of the cost and size, I chose this particular model. It was quite helpful to us at the time we needed it.My friends sold their equipment many months later after realizing they didn't enjoy getting shot as much as they had anticipated. I hung on for a few more years in the vain hope that they would eventually return. So eventually I also sold all of my equipment. My pals are back in 2013, several years later! Given how effectively this chronograph had served us in the past, I knew I would need one and made the decision to buy it once more.I never experienced any reliability difficulties, and I don't even recall ever having to change a battery while I had it. Although it has a Velcro hook to hang it on your barrel, I never used it because I simply held it in place with my hand. Finding out how many FPS your gun shoots simply requires a few shots. Although I learnt my lesson the first time, I would definitely buy this again. Simply put, my pals will eventually return to play paintball. I'll just retain the second one till I need it again to save myself some money.

I purchased this weapon for my son. Together, we play on a team. He had a Rail at first, but it was returned because it leaked. For the price, the blitz is a wonderful firearm. The caliber is respectable. Remember that you are not buying a $1000 marker, but it is fantastic for the price. It has decent paint, shoots straight, and is quite easy to disassemble and clean. Although I could live without the alan screw, I really love the quick release lever on the feedneck.I haven't noticed any markings that weren't louder than my Rize Maxxed, but it is undoubtedly louder. It makes an average sound when it shoots. You may walk the trigger and fire as quickly as needed thanks to the dye rotor we attached to it.We play woodsball there for around eight hours a week. The rubber that covers the batter seems to protrude a little, which is the only aspect of the pistol I don't like. One problem we had was that the rubber on the handle's back came unglued. This should be easily fixed with a little gorilla glue. This is one of the greatest markers you will discover, whether you're searching for your first one, a backup, or one for a youngster. I heartily suggest this trustworthy, high-quality marker because of its reasonable pricing.
