This is a fantastic example of a vintage pellet gun. But it was designed from the start with updates in mind. This necessitates the purchaser to replace a number of its components in order to raise its status to excellent. However, once you improve its components to meet your demands or preferences, you'll be pleased to possess it and enjoy using it. This review will be lengthy since it covers more than just the P1377. It also discusses the factors that led me to chose it and how I intended to use it, despite the high cost of achieving my objective (killing mice). Let me first explain why before moving on to how. I've tried virtually everything to catch mice without any luck, including glue traps, snap traps, DIY traps, electric zapper traps, and green pellets, which they devour voraciously for days on end. To learn mouse behavior, I used the Bushnell 6MP Trophy Cam with Night Vision game camera; simply set it on the ground, and it will automatically record 1-minute video clips on an SD card. BTW, this new "generation" of mice won't go for bait on traps; instead, they will only grab food and "split" quickly to another area to eat it. Additionally, the floor is covered in what appear to be mouse droppings. Keep in mind that I eat, sleep, and use this room (barefoot after shower). You won't be able to compete with a mouse even with a pellet gun when it's the perfect time and place. Mice only emerge at night or in the dark, and they magically vanish when the lights are turned on. However, things drastically change when you add a cheap door motion sensor and an expensive, three-pound night vision rifle scope (with adaptors). However, you must practice shooting in the dark and ensure that you can hit a (live) 3 inch target (with a single shot) at a minimum distance of 9 feet (blurry at 6 feet). You must also set up a target site that will attract the mouse while covering a small area of the wall and floor with 34 inch cardboard because you don't want holes in the wall or blood on your floor once the pellet hits. I discovered that lying flat in bed with a pillow on your elbows and something to rest the pellet gun on top, while aiming at the target site 9 feet in front of you, was the optimal position for shooting with this (now) 5 lb. weapon. The p1377 will maintain its air charge without issue throughout the entire night (3 pumps and safety "on"). Long-lasting lithium batteries power the scope. Turn on the scope, turn on the IR light, adjust into the aiming position, turn off the safety, and the rest is history once you're informed of the mouse's presence (either by a motion sensor or by plain hearing). My Crosman p1377 was equipped with the Crosman 2289 thicker forearm pump arm, the UTG Dovetail to Picatinny rail adaptor (MNT-DT2PW01), the steel breach conversion kit, the Custom shoulder stock, and more. For practice shooting, I used Benjamin.177 hallow point pellets and 200 Mega Pack 4 inch target stickers, all purchased from Amazon. The Armasight WWZ scope was the only item I couldn't purchase from them since they won't deliver it to my location. It's comforting to know that the same procedure will be followed the following time this occurs, and I will undoubtedly succeed.

I grew up around single-action revolvers. For my sixth birthday, my parents gave me a pair of cap guns that looked like Peacemakers. I did the neighborhood's cleanup. I got rid of rustlers, bank robbers, bandits, and other two-legged varmints from the neighborhood. Even though I was brave and well-armed, it occasionally landed me into problems. Later, I acquired my first actual firearm. A Ruger Single Six was used. I was able to get a pair of Colt SAA in.45 Colt a few years later, followed by a couple more. I have three of these left.I don't visit the range very often these days. I had purchased a few air guns, mainly CO2 models. Using a nice pellet trap—of which I have three—I can shoot these inside the home. The other day, when I was admiring and cleaning my prized Peacemakers, it occured to me that Umarex also makes CO2 powered versions of these in.177 caliber pellet. After doing some research, I went back and placed an order. Despite my reservations, the cost was not out of the question.I fell in love the day it arrived. My hopes were considerably exceeded by this CO2 powered Colt SAA. The accuracy of it astounds me. The views are spot on on my. Although useful, the ejection rod is not truly necessary. In actuality, the cartridges just drop out of the pistol when it is canted with the muzzle up. Unexpectedly, I dropped the first one to the ground. I adapted to it.The base pin can be taken out of the actual Colt in order to remove the cylinder from the frame for cleaning. For this, one requires tools for the Umarex replica. However, with this pistol, it is not really essential, therefore I do not advise you to tamper with it. Simply leave the cylinder where it is. In addition to the six silver colored cartridges that were included, I also ordered extra. I got three sets of the ones in the gold/brass color. They perform the same functions as the silver ones but are less expensive. Now, these bullets don't look anything like the actual.45 Colt ammunition. Instead, they resemble.357 Mags in appearance. I'm not bothered about this. If I want to brag, I'll tuck the Umarex inside one of my belts or holsters in the Western design, which have loops for.45 Colt rounds.This revolver has the same weight and balance as a real revolver, and it looks and feels authentic. The grips are unlike any I've ever seen or touched, but they have a very attractive appearance. I simply act as though they are uniquely made, which they kind of are. This gun's appearance is remarkably accurate to the real thing. From the original piece, there is one obvious difference. There is a black colored polymer type insert on the grip frame, directly where the hammer and frame connect. This, I assume, has to do with the fact that the replica is CO2 driven. Nothing can be done to change this. I'm okay with it.In my shop, I tested it out across an 8 meter range. I've been using RWS Meisterkugeln pellets for years; they're the only ones I've ever used. I could have filled the hole with a nickel with my first round of six shots, which were all on target. I suppose the enthusiasm over this new rifle made me a little irritable. The following day, I fired three further six-round groups, each of which I could have easily covered with a dime. I have decades of expertise with various air and firearms, including nearly 8 years in the US Army MP Corps.I am quite happy with this Peacemaker in general. I can only advise somebody who has the aptitude for it. You won't regret it.

Given that it comes with a holster and extra magazine clips for a reasonably low price, this rifle is unquestionably a good value. The rifle works best with pellets, so this particular bundle includes one BB clip and four pellet clips. I discovered that using competition pellets while shooting in single action gave me the highest accuracy. The holster holds up really well, although I would quibble with how it holds the gun in place. The plastic connector is good in and of itself, however the end of it is attached by a removable button, thus it could come off if you rub against something while wearing the holster. After pointing out the minor flaws, let's discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the pistol itself.Advantages: - The back sight can be adjusted, which results in excellent accuracy. Even right out of the box, it shoots quite well because the factory has calibrated the rear sight before shipping.The trigger is exceptionally smooth. Except for the slightly heavy double action pull weight, it is a very good trigger. The smoothest and most accurate technique to fire the gun is with a single action.- Despite being primarily plastic, the pistol as a whole is fairly durable and has held up quite well.- Because the barrel is rifled rather than smooth bore, pellet shooting is exceptionally accurate.- Around 75 bullets may be obtained from the cannon thanks to how well the CO2 mechanism uses the gas. After about 60 shots, you might wish to refill the CO2 for the optimal performance.- Unexpectedly well lubricated for being fresh out of the package, the pistol.- The CO2 loading mechanism is exceptionally slick and tightly sealed. I lose shots when I try to load the CO2 with less expensive pistols because it leaks out quickly before I can tighten it adequately. This gun's inside handle is made of gun metal, and the screw is made of metal rather than a spring. You can even screw it in more quickly with this than with a typical pistol. While loading it, the CO2 leak is completely silent.When I opened the box, I could tell the gun was not poorly made because of the grip's comfort and how "well built" it felt.Cons: - Although the grip may be strong, you must be cautious when removing the two plastic pieces that make up the grip.- You must press a release button and "break" the barrel of the rifle to reload the pellet/BB clip. The pivot connecting the barrel and the button are both overly snug.- Shooting BBs out of the gun can actually affect the rifling of the barrel and shorten the pistol's overall lifespan because the barrel is rifled. Although the double action trigger pull is strong, it is smooth. For the best accuracy, you must shoot it in a single motion.Overall: Because the pistol was so nicely made, there weren't many drawbacks that I could detect. The holster is also well crafted; it keeps the gun somewhat safe while being strong, stable, and attached to your belt. Personally, I advise not using it for anything other than shooting pellets, however BBs aren't too bad for the rifle and penetrate slightly better than lead. This is a pretty decent gun if you're looking for one to shoot in the backyard, kill a rat with, or just to play about with a BB/pellet pistol.

Along with the Crossman Destroyer Pellets, I purchased this. I purchased both items without confirming that the pellets were compatible with the gun because Amazon had listed them as "often bought together." Since everyone buys it, I assumed it must be the greatest choice, but I was mistaken. The round, spherical B.B.s are used in this B.B. pistol; the pellets are ineffective. So bear that in mind if you're going to buy.It's been excellent so far except from that. Although I haven't fired it yet, it appears frightfully accurate and even feels somewhat substantial. It's difficult to see because the.177 barrel is set back from the barrel tip a little bit. I'm happy with this Glock 19 so far. I only wish they offered a CO2 blowback variant because CO2 is considerably more portable than green gas, particularly when used on the go or in a structured airsoft-style event.

This BB pistol is very incredible. It is extremely great because it is heavy and because the interior parts are all beautifully made of metal. The plastic is extremely strong and difficult to scratch. I was amazed by the appearance right out of the box; the design and construction were excellent. I've discovered that steel BBs work best in the rotary mags, so use those when loading the rifle. It was quite simple for me to access the integrated hex key, which is much more practical than carrying a separate hex key about. Put a small amount of pellgun oil on the top of the cartridge before inserting your CO2 to lubricate the O-ring and puncture needle within the gun and maintain a seal. The gun is fairly precise, and I've fired roughly 100 bbs through it so far. You should change your CO2 cartridges between 65 and 70 rounds. I fired the pistol at a piece of wood at a distance of about 50 feet, and it sank into the wood. Additionally, I fired a metal target at a distance of roughly 50 feet, leaving a definite dent. Although it can shoot in double-action as well, I prefer to utilize single action because the trigger is lighter. This pistol makes a rather terrifying noise; indoors, it sounds similar to a.22, and outside, it's roughly as loud as a clap. Overall, this device has VERY impressed me, and I would HIGHLY suggest it.

These negative reviews are so funny, First and foremost, the review with the picture showed that the shell appeared to be jammed. Yes, shells can jam if the pin is pushed back to expel them, but 1. That pin absolutely does not need to be pushed, and 2. The ridiculous reports about things being "loose" no I own a Smith and Wesson. Even if you do push that pin and they become "jammed," it only takes around.2 seconds to dislodge the stuck shell with a simple grip of the index finger and thumb. If you're holding it in firing position, there will be some slight play because you need to access the co2 compartment, but you don't need to "remove" the handle to change cartridges. However, if you're not holding it in firing position, there will be slight play because you need to access the co2 compartment. Simply pull back (there is no squeaking, just the usual sound of plastic sliding) and change the cartridges. I believe that people are merely attempting to get their money back in these negative evaluations (the ones with pictures).

I bought this pistol to teach my young son about ethical gun ownership and handling while also serving as an introduction to BB guns. The handgun has a speed loader magazine and is mostly made of durable plastic. However, there are a few small complaints. To start, the pistol's sights are not very precise, and it fires about 2 degrees to the right. The speed loader clip is functional for the first 4-6 BBs that you load up, but it isn't great. This means that you must remove the spring loader clip (located at the bottom of the magazine) and shake the handgun to cause the clip to reload around every five shots. Additionally, the gun only holds one round, so each time you shoot a BB, you must pull back the slide (which is great for smaller kids and the main reason I bought it). Therefore, you will need to find another option if you plan to fire off BBs semi-automatically. The reported muzzle velocity of roughly 240 fps, in my opinion, is largely true. The BBs that are shot have just enough force to pierce one or possibly two sheets of paper, but not enough to pierce a milk jug. (which, once more, is excellent for a starter BB pistol) The pistol is not horrible overall for my young son, however the speed loading glitch subtracts about one star from its rating. Even though I'm still testing the gun, I'd rate it right now roughly 4 stars.
