The flags are made of plastic that has a rather poor feel to it and is curled from storage and rubber bands.Any size can be accommodated with belts. Due to the belts' flexibility, the set could be used by children and adults.If you didn't have anything else on hand or simply wanted something relatively portable to take to a park or beach, cones would work just fine. They are small, weak, and somewhat deformed from the package, but they would get the job done.These will endure a lot of wear and tear over the years because we have a lot of kids and a large piece of property, especially when we have family gatherings and need to keep the kids entertained.Excellent complement to your outdoor sporting equipment that only takes up a small portion of a shoebox in storage. I bought my seven-year-old kid this kit for his birthday.He adored the game, and after gathering a small group of kids at a nearby park, they were playing an epic game of capture the flag in less than ten minutes.The flags have the correct amount of give, are robust enough so that they don't fall off too easily, and are neither flimsy nor difficult for the children to attach themselves to the belts.Because they are so little and concealed by any length of grass, the cones are essentially useless. However, this is not a reason to avoid buying; simply swap them out for taller cones.

Here we go with this strange review. One of these penalty flags was sent to us in a fantasy football draft kit. Although we never used it for drawing, one of our cats really liked it. So much so that for months, it has been her only plaything. She is always cuddling and licking it. When the first one finally started to rip rather badly, we bought these to use as replacements. As of now, so nice! She is currently using the first member of the group, and it is doing well.They are just tied shut with a metal vegetable bag tie, which I dislike but do not hold against them (like the ones you tie your vegetable bags closed with at the food store). We removed that and put in something more substantial that she cannot swallow. I'm not deducting a star because of this because I know that this is not the intended use for these toys. Since they are well manufactured, this pack ought to last us for some time.

For the past three years, I have used and bought these for youth camp. When we played weekly flag football games, we used to go through belts like crazy, therefore I love these flags. the velcro flags were used. Would not continue! A belt that would simply clip around your waist was tried. Would frequently break the clips, requiring the purchase of a new box around every two weeks.These are fantastic and unbreakable in nature. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because the belt cups that hold the flags start to lose their form. Or, more precisely, they are not all the same size. When you switch them around, you'll discover one with a tighter fit, and the flag will then stay in. However, some will have the flag fall out, which is somewhat of a pain. It is a headache to have to stop playing whatever game you are playing in order to get your flags to stay on your belt.Football games make this less of an issue because you only need to remove the flag from one or two players at a time and you can quickly grab your own and put it back on. I primarily use these belts at camp for the game Last Flag Standing, in which each team attempts to steal a flag from the opposing team, and the round is won by the team with the "Last Flag belt Standing" or equivalent. Thus, the final calculation results in more than 30 flags of both colors laying around the circle. Despite your best efforts, it is inevitable that the child will mix up "his/her" flag with the one they recently lost.Although they don't happen frequently, the loose flags that come with them can nonetheless disrupt some games' natural flow. Other than the fact that these belts won't break, when the flag is pulled, you can hear a "sonic boom" or pop. which is very helpful. Overall, the purchase was quite worthwhile.

We were aiming for a significant flag football match. I put off making the purchase while browsing a variety of possibilities online. So my choices were now limited to those with next-day shipment. Additionally, I didn't even understand why they made flag belts with only two flags; I was only interested in those that had three flags each. The description on this indicated it could accommodate 10 or 14 players, however I wanted ten players, and there was no selection choice. For the record, mine had 14 flag belts.Cons: The price ($35) was higher than I planned to pay, but getting it the next day made up for it. Although the belts struggled to remain on securely and did come off at least half a dozen times, this was by no means a deal-breaker. When I put them away, I saw two belts where the Velcro had started to come away from the flag material.additionally, to answer a concern I had from a different review. The belts arrived quite tightly coiled. Prior to the game, I unfolded and flattened them for 20 to 30 minutes. The fact that the flags had not curled by the start of the game made me very delighted.Remember that the included cones are little larger than shot glasses and are useless on an outdoor field. The very cheap bag that comes with it is also something I will never use.
