This thing was recently delivered, and my first thought is WOW! What an amazing value on such a great product. You receive a sharpie, a utility knife, two rolls of tape, and a tape gun. You truly can't complain about the price you pay. Although I haven't tried them yet, they appear to be rather good. I'm pleased that metal was chosen over plastic. And it's fantastic that you receive two rolls of tape with them. Instead of ordering the uline ones and receiving only one with no tape at all, I'd rather spend a little more money on these and get everything that comes with it. Additionally, if you order it along with other things that can also be sent the same day, it can be delivered to you that day.

Since I have never before utilized a tape dispenser to wrap boxes, I can't really speak for others. I'll tell you this, though: this dispenser pistol is fantastic. I have had no trouble wrapping anything, and the included tape is excellent as well. Not a "shoddy" add-on at all. The tape is of excellent quality. Always remember to remove the cutter's protection before using it if you receive one of these. (My bad). It serves two purposes: to maintain the cutter sharp and to shield you. Despite the fact that I am new to wrapping, I have never experienced tape jams or unwanted tape placement. I'm at a loss as to how it could be made better. I highly suggest this tape dispenser gun!

Some of them, I'll admit, ranged from cheap tape dispensers from the dollar store that lasted only for the first roll to an expensive automatic commercial/industrial tape dispenser that I borrowed for a significant moving operation. But this time, I was searching for a useful item to take the place of an old favorite.I used one that belonged to a local friend before purchasing this Duck Brand Standard Tape Gun with Foam Handle. It came with a single 54-yard roll of Duck Brand clear standard tape, but I'll get to it later. This is a good product that lived up to my previous experiences' expectations.Good Elements Extra-sharp blade easily cuts tapes up to 2-inch wide Sturdy design; coated steel chassis Foam covered grip; built for user comfort Red tension control knob; highly adjustable 109-yard cassettes can be used; 54-yard tapes are the norm.Not Quite So Good1.6 mil packaging tape is far too thin for standard use.â—† In Use:The blade of this Duck Brand Standard Tape Gun is protected by a black plastic shield. Make sure to take this out before using it, and if there are children present, keep it close at hand because that blade has very sharp serrated teeth. To keep it close at hand, I attached the shield to the side of the tape gun.Once you get the hang of loading the tape, it's not too difficult. Put the red tension control knob on the tape gun's side and in the up position. Make sure the tape is positioned so that the free end is facing counterclockwise before inserting the roll into the cannon by sliding the cardboard core onto the big retention wheel.The metal bar below the roller and the roller are where the tape feeds between them. Simply make sure the tape is placed such that the free end is facing counterclockwise.
