These were used on my wedding's dessert table. I placed my order a few weeks ago and was a little concerned because some reviews mentioned having trouble getting the rods into the bases. While some of them required a tight fit, simply twisting the rod into the base was sufficient for some. Others were a wonderful fit. I was relieved because I hadn't noticed in the description that these also came with pink and white chalk markers and a tiny bottle of whiteboard cleanser. I used these two markers and didn't need to purchase any more. The ink adheres well and doesn't smudge. You MUST use the whiteboard cleaner to remove. This was great since I could create my dessert tags two weeks ahead of time and not have to stress about creating attractive, tidy designs for the wedding setup day. Since my wedding was two days ago, I don't yet have any pictures of my dessert table, but these are the tags I have at home. After the wedding, I tried cleaning one sign, and even after the ink had been there for two weeks, it came straight off with the whiteboard cleaner, leaving no stain or residue behind. The sign on the chalkboard is adorable! I wouldn't recommend this sign if you're searching for anything substantial. Initially, I believed the sign would be the right size for my popcorn business after looking at photo reviews. My buckets are as tall as the sign, so I fear it could be too tiny. But I might decide to lay down a white tablecloth, cover it with a silk overlay, and then set the sign on top after inserting some kind of bucket between the tablecloth and the silk overlay to give it a towering effect. This paper for a chalkboard is AMAZING. It took some figuring out, but I adore it. It was fantastic once we figured out the best method to use it. It can be applied to frames or used alone to make amusing borders. It takes some getting used to, but once you do, you'll adore it. With a moist rag, it cleans up well. Here are the advice we came up with, along with the markers we purchased that went wonderfully with it:Don't hurry. Apply slowly while removing a little amount of the backing (1–2 inches at a time). Rushing results in undesirable wrinkles and air bubbles. To help smooth it out at first, we used a plastic wallpaper tool, but that also creased the paper. The ideal tool to use is your thumbs, moving slowly and firmly from the center outward to smooth the paper. You can also use your fingers. After pressing and smoothing, take more of the backing off and work your way downward. If there are any air bubbles that won't disappear, gently lift. Take your time, and it will apply flawlessly. If you are doing most of it or the whole thing by yourself, having a second set of hands to hold the bottom for you is quite helpful. If you stick it again after making a mistake, it will get less sticky each time. No issue if it happens a few times. We used a damp paper towel to clean ours, and it worked great. A cloth is included for that use as well.We used washi tape to add colorful borders to ours. A interesting board might be made by applying it to vintage frames or mirrors. Actually, it could be used for virtually anything. We stuck it to the bedroom wall, the back of a door, and the fridge. For the birthday board I made, this worked beautifully! When I moved to a different brand of chalk marker, I no longer had a problem with my chalk markers not washing off. This is a lot of fun! Because I was concerned that regular chalk would simply smudge, I purchased the colorful chalk pens to utilize. The surface is exceedingly smooth but not slippery, and the opaque chalk markers function flawlessly. The same flamboyant appearance can be achieved by using pastel or neon gel pens on dark or black paper. I've always like how these are employed by cafe bars, baristas, and microbreweries; their style of design and decoration is almost cultural! I divided the enormous 6 foot roll in half and positioned the two 18" x 36" sheets on opposite walls. Kids will love it, and the liquid chalk doesn't smear. A moist towel is all that is required to quickly wipe away the mess and start fresh, much like a chalkboard. Although it has high tack and is contact paper, I wouldn't advise tacking it to papered surfaces. It will easily pull off painted walls.

They are adorable, well-built little chalkboards. They work well for occasions. Beautiful, minimalist design as opposed to just a plain rectangle. They thoroughly clean off. In the midst of a situation where I wanted to revise something, I was able to use my jacket to wash it down without using any water, and it came off looking brand new. This was bought for our homeschooling space. I adore the color green and chose it since it is more aesthetically pleasing than black while still complementing the majority of hues. Both the regular chalk I used and the Chalkista chalk markers look fantastic on this. I usually write a heading that will remain on the board for the entire week, wipe it clean with a damp cloth at the end of the week, and no marks are left behind. I prefer to wash with water because that is truly the only method to remove chalk markers completely. For ordinary chalk, a conventional eraser works just fine. A few pieces of chalk can fit in the tray that comes with this. The tray's ability to slide from side to side is a feature I appreciate because I occasionally need to move it over. Definitely, I'd buy this again!

I wanted to leave this white board on a good note. Purchased it for the family, who as you can see like drawing on it. We'll get more so we can turn the entire wall into a dry erase board. The application was a little challenging (kept wanting to roll in on itself, mostly because of how it is packaged), but if you had a partner to assist you, it's easy. Even after pulling it off and reapplying it to straighten out our crookedness, the adhesive remained stuck to the wall.

This chalk board was ideal for the purpose I had in mind. In order for guests at a graduation party to express their wishes for the graduate's future, I used it to mount it on card stock and I added a stick to the back of it. So that people may be imaginative, I went to Amazon and got chalk pens in a variety of colors. On the back of the contact sheet, there were lines for simple, straight cutting. It was simple to remove the contact paper and adhere it to the board. I discovered that all I needed to do was gently pull the sheet's backing off a tiny bit. I then laid the sheet down on the cardboard and slowly peeled it off, smoothing out any bubbles or wrinkles as I went. This filled 6 12x12 sheets. With the guests at the party, this was a great success. They were original, and the graduate loved them so much that he intended to remove the stick and hang them on the wall of his bedroom.
