Avery 1" Durable View 3 Ring Binder, Slant Ring, Holds 8.5" x 11" Paper, 4 White Binders (17012) Review:

If purchasing an Avery binder, choose the "Durable" model over the "Economy" and the "Heavy Duty" models for the following reasons:Because of the Economy's use of lightweight cardboard, binders can easily bend. Furthermore, the material used to cover the binder is thinner and more prone to tearing. These binders are a complete waste, and I wouldn't even recommend using them lightly. They term the EZD ring on the Heavy Duty a one-touch device. As a result, there is only one tab at the bottom that opens the rings rather than two tabs, one at the top and one at the bottom. So easily that the rings will actually start to develop gaps after little use. In addition to making it harder to turn the pages and causing pages to separate and tear where the holes are, gaps inevitably get larger over time. Additionally, the gaps are a result of the rings not opening equally. With a tab on only one end, the rings will be pulled from one side more strongly than the other. For these reasons, I don't like the one-touch EZD ring.I prefer the durable model, which is this model. To begin with, the cardboard utilized is highly durable and will safeguard the information kept in your binder.— Since the cover material is of acceptable quality, defects like tears typically require years of severe daily use. A handful of the Avery Durable binders I own are easily eight years old, while others only survived three. Just depends on how you use it.— The tabs on the rings create a loud noise when they are opened and closed; this indicates that they have a very strong closing and are of extremely high quality. In my experience, even when the binders are completely full, the rings have never formed gaps. Keep in mind that I never pull or push on the rings themselves; instead, I always open and close them using both end tabs.— The only major drawback I can find is that the d-ring is little more slanted than I would want. The ring tilt increases with binder size.— Standard front and back pockets are seen on binders. On the front, back, and spine, they offer clear view pockets as well.

I suppose you lose all pretense of coolness once you evaluate a binder. Here it is: I currently have three different brands of binders in front of me because the durability ranges widely. The cardboard flaps

Avery 17001 Durable View Binder w/Slant Rings, 11 x 8 1/2, 1/2 inch, Black Review:

For a sizable project that was long overdue, I bought a total of 3 binders (two of this specific size/color, one of another size/color). See, I've been collecting fashion magazines for a few years because I enjoy the photos that are printed in them as art references to use when drawing or painting, but I got pretty tired of the amount of space that this collection took up (and how much of it was wasted with articles and pictures that I had no use for or interest in) as well as the fact that the photos weren't very accessible and couldn't be organized. Consequently, I made the decision to cut out the pages I needed, place them in diamond clear page protectors from Avery, and then fit them in a binder so that I could easily access and arrange all the magazine images while also significantly reducing the amount of space needed (I went from an entire 60 quart plastic storage tub filled to the brim with magazines down to a total of 4 binders; two 2-inch, one 3-inch, and one 1-inch; the gutted magazines were then taken to the recycle center). These binders undoubtedly fulfilled my expectations! The page protectors fit snugly inside the D-rings, which makes it easy for me to flip through the pages as frequently as I like and add or remove pages as needed whenever and wherever. Since I'm using these binders as reference books and they will unavoidably be touched and used frequently, the covers are also rather strong and have so far handled the quantity of material I've put in them (around 175 page protectors loaded with 1-4 glossy magazine pages apiece). The coverings don't seem like they will readily rip, flex, or split apart. The general use from storing them, opening them, carrying them around, etc. doesn't seem to be able to damage them, which is precisely what I wanted! Of course, I don't think I could use them very severely. The only thing about it that I don't particularly like is that the D-ring strip is attached to the back cover of the binder rather than the spine. Even though it was expected, I guess it just feels a little weird to me because I'm so accustomed to O-rings mounted to the spine. However, since I chose a 2" rather than a 1" or 1.5", which are more common sizes that can have spine-mounted rings without a problem, it's not really a drawback since I kind of expected it would be like this. The pages would need to be moved from the side to the middle every time the binder was opened or shut if D-rings were attached on the spine.Anyway, Avery is unquestionably a trustworthy company that produces high-quality projects, so if you're looking for a high-quality traditional binder for a project, job, or school, I certainly recommend these!

Avery Durable View Binder, Slant Rings, 500-Sheet Capacity, 2" Blue Binder (17034) Review:

To store project pages in sheet protectors, I purchased this binder. It does so admirably. All 100 sheet protectors I purchased fit perfectly in this folder. It's a blue hue. What more could a product possibly offer? It works!I create project pages and adult coloring books on 8 1/2 by 11 inch pages. In each sheet protector, I put two sheets, then I put them all in this binder. I refer to the color schemes I've used on previous projects on the project pages. This binder serves the purpose I'm using it for admirably. For the previously mentioned intended use, I heartily endorse this product.

Avery 17021 Durable View Binder w/Slant Rings, 11 x 8 1/2, 1 1/2" Cap, Black Review:

This was necessary for my partner because the textbook she had acquired online for one of her classes arrived in a loose-leaf style without a binder. She needed something that could accommodate all the content, which included a few little booklets that weren't hole-punched (a difficult task). That meant she required a binder that had pockets and could contain a LOT of three-hold punched pages. The clear plastic sleeve on the front is fantastic as well; she was able to put the book's cover in there so it now almost looks like an actual textbook. This was the perfect size to store all of her course materials. She frequently removes chapters so she can read them on the go without having to bring the entire large binder with her. Sometimes the metal rings are difficult to open, but if that's the price to pay for the pages remaining safely within, then it's well worth it. Finally, the pricing and delivery time on Amazon are unbeatable. I'm overjoyed with this buy.

Avery 3" Durable View 3 Ring Binder, EZD Ring, Holds 8.5" x 11" Paper, 1 White Binder (9701) Review:

Since he was a preschooler, I have been homeschooling my seventh-grader. We keep track of our work in a three-ring binder with additional tabs each year. I eventually bought an Avery binder one year after using other brands, and I was pleasantly pleased by how much better it held up than the other brands. I now only buy Avery products, and I place an annual order of one as I get ready for a new homeschool year. The larger binders contain a ton of paperwork, and I like how simple it is to open the rings. Additionally, I appreciate the pockets on both interior covers; they come in helpful for putting particular forms, calendars, etc. close at hand. Additionally useful is the clear view front cover, which enables me to make a cover page for our binders (you can also download a template to use to create a spine label as well which is super-helpful to identify which binder you need from the shelf). The finest feature about these Avery binders, in my opinion, is that despite frequent opening and closing and everyday use, the seams have not come apart like they have with other binders. I use different ones for household information, recipes, garden information, product information booklets, and warranty information because I like these so much. These Avery binders are excellent, and I will be using them in the future.

Avery Heavy-Duty View Binder, 3 One-Touch Rings, 670-Sheet Capacity, DuraHinge Black (79693) Review:

This binder is excellent and reasonably priced. dependable and easy to open with only one touch. There is only one minor issue that I've noticed after buying several of them twice: the clear plastic covers of the binders frequently have small (1"–2") blemishes, cuts, or slits on them. This is presumably due to handling during packing. Unless the binder's aesthetics are extremely crucial, they are just decorative and do not influence the binder's functionality or justify the inconvenience of seeking a replacement.
