I mix Bondo and epoxy using tongue depressors. I used some wire cutters to remove the round end to obtain a mixing stick with a flat end. This product is fairly flexible and thin. I prefer a more rigid tongue depressor, which I can buy at a more expensive local art supply shop. To make the sticks more rigid for my purposes, I've started using two sticks at once. Many sticks for the money.

These are *ideal* for the task at hand, which is to scoop cat food from cans. Since my daughter works as a professional in the field of animal rescue and care, I can only assume that many people and facilities use these for that purpose. We only have one cat for now, so I buy the tiny single serving cat food cans, and I keep a stack of those cans and the box of these tongue depressors right by where I feed him at night. They are *very* handy and ideal for this! After some research (yeah, I need to get a life!:) I've come to the conclusion that the reason they are called "senior" tongue depressors is to set them apart from "junior" tongue depressors, which are pediatric tongue depressors (for children) and therefore significantly smaller (see, for example, Puritan Junior Tongue Depressor, Grape Flavored, 50/Box).

I would rate these tongue depressors a 4 out of 5 stars, with 5 stars for quality and 1 star for informational dearth.I thought the quality of these tongue depressors was superb. When I split mine in half while they're still in the wrapper, they do so more neatly and without leaving sharp edges like some other kinds. The fact that these "sterile" (?) tongue depressors made of "birch wood" (?) are shipped in a plain white box without any printing confirming their provenance—not just the country, but also the manufacturer—and that the individual packaging is plain white without any printing confirming their sterility or their use of birch wood are two things that irritate me.I find the absence of information concerning the quality a little unsettling, but once they are opened, the polished, smooth, and consistent birch wood quality is readily apparent. They are individually wrapped, 100 pieces per box, and so far every single box has been smooth and polished. This is significant for me because I apply emuaidmax [another fantastic product (5*)] to the sterile tongue depressors before using them on my sensitive skin. As a result, using the consistently smooth depressors doesn't cause any further issues with my daily routines.Despite the lack of information provided, I would have no hesitation in recommending these tongue depressors to someone searching for a high-quality depressor that also offers a great price.peace,s

I used them at a school health check, and I had a hard time getting them out. Knowing they could bring this with them, all of the children simply lined up to be checked. They get twice as much flavor because it is on both ends of the depressor and lasts for a very long time.
