Very helpful, particularly if you photograph people outside. I appreciate that they are lightweight and simple to open so that my equipment bag isn't burdened by them. Additionally, they are quite small—about nine inches across. Since I'm not a professional photographer—I'd say I'm a fairly decent amateur—I can't comment on the caliber of these pictures. However, given their low cost, they make a nice complement to my equipment and make it simple for me to add some reflected light when I'm taking pictures of people. You might use these for other things, like as commercial photography, but I only use them when I'm taking pictures of people because I try to avoid using a flash whenever possible. These merely add light that seems more natural and give me the ability to direct it precisely. Furthermore, I can adjust the light's hue and strength thanks to the various colored reflectors. Although the gold one does emit a really lovely color, I tend to utilize the white ones more frequently.These come highly recommended if you're looking for inexpensive reflectors or if you just want to play around with them. Reflector screens cost a lot of money, but this Neewer 32 "It's difficult to resist the reflector screen because it's such a great deal.A nylon carry case with a zipper is included with this screen. The zipper should not be treated roughly and functions perfectly. It may jam up on you if you start zipping vigorously out of haste or the nylon of the case may catch in the zipper teeth as you zip. Simply go more slowly and gently—it works just well.The screen essentially unfolds itself with a spring-like action, and when it is finished, you are shown a 32 "Disc of diameter, silver on one side and black on the other. The outer circle of the black/silver cloth has a zipper that, when opened, displays a white surface on one side and a gold surface on the other. I enjoy learning about photography, thus I was interested in investigating high speed exposure photos. Therefore, I purchased a flash (Altura Pro Flash Kit for Nikon; you can see my review of it on its Amazon page) and sought out a reflector kit that would be affordable yet functional.So I chose this one: "Neewer 5 in 1 Portable 24 x 36"/60 x 90cm Round Collapsible" owing to the pricing, size (I preferred an extended one over a circle since I was intending to capture water droplets, splashes, etc.), and reviews.I utilized this kit for that purpose and it worked well for me. The pictures I shot with them are visible. In some photos, I placed a diffuser in front of the flash, and in others, I used a white reflector to bounce back light from a camera in front of it (the angles had to be just so to prevent the light from being reflected directly into the camera). The reflector/diffuser was used as the photo's background in both situations. Obviously, during image post-processing, I had to get rid of the backdrop flaws. Setting the light to overexpose the reflector/diffuser will make things the easiest because the light will already wash out the background and just require minimal post-processing modification.The majority of reflectors and diffusers that you can imagine are included. When adding more reflectors, you place that on top of the diffuser, which has a tensioned ring diffuser (which is the norm for these type of cheaper kits).It has been working well for me for a few months now. Naturally, as soon as I pulled it out of the box, I dropped it, but it didn't break. Although it is heavy, you won't be slowed down by it. To hold a reflector securely, it needs to have some weight to it. It immediately had a distinct rubber aroma. The scent was gone the next day after I put it in the garage over night.Functionality:This component easily fitted onto the top of the Neewer light stand that I purchased separately. Additionally, it fits onto my other light stand of a different brand. It is simple to turn the dials that change the clamp's angle. The piece stays tightly in place regardless of the angle at which you lock it. I attached a white foam board I got from the dollar shop to it to show you how adaptable this item is. For portrait photography sessions, these reflectors are excellent. You as a photographer can alter the colour of your photos thanks to the variety of hues. I particularly enjoy using the golden one to give my pictures and headshots a lovely warmth. When faced with tricky circumstances, such as strange shadows emerging on the face, the white reflector is excellent for balancing back light onto your subject. They take some work to pack up, but considering the price, this is not a deal-breaker.

The quality of this product astounds me. Of course, I had no idea how wonderfully it was manufactured before I bought it. But at this price, I anticipated that it would fall somewhere between complete trash and something that could be used. I've used things that were considerably more expensive. The teardrop reflectors by "luma something" that Joe McNally specifically sponsored and designed had been on my want list for a while. However, it was just a wish at far over $100. I have taken this off my wish list and will be looking for this manufacturer for many more things now that I have this. I utilized the McNally-designed reflector, and I was quite pleased with how well it was manufactured. Although the McNally product has somewhat different features, it is obvious that his name, not the product, is what drives the price increase of $100.Just how nicely manufactured is this reflector? The handle and frame are made of a heavy-duty, thick material. Because the handle is sturdy, the reflector can be held by it at any angle. I can hold this in my hand while shooting with my other hand because it does not sag at the grip like other reflectors do.In reality, the additional colors that are applied to the frame are a pocket that slides and zips onto the frame. The zippered pocket is black, white, and silver/gold in color.To switch colors, slightly unzip the pocket, take it off the frame, flip it inside out, and then reattach it to the frame with the new color. White diffuse is the hue that is firmly stitched to the frame.I was anticipating a short piece of Velcro on which you would adhere the required color. That would need me to stretch and reposition myself regularly. With this product, such is not the case. The zip-up pocket is the correct size and, when attached, appears to be hard-sewn to the frame; it takes close inspection to realize that it is, in fact, removable.The zipper has sizeable teethers and is stitched with a respectable edge to prevent binding on the nylon fabric.About how beautifully made this product is, I have nothing else to say. Although it doesn't require as much strength as you might think to put it away, it just doesn't meet the same standards as other $16 items. It is of such high quality that folding it and then letting it open requires more strength than you would think because the material of the frame is thick enough to spring open with a fairly robust velocity. It is kept in a bag, which is quite convenient.Because the price was so low, I decided to purchase two so that I could have any combination of silver, gold, black, or white. I am so pleased with my purchase that I will seek out this brand for all future reflector purchases and requirements.

I previously owned a diffuser of a similar type, but I recently decided to test "the newest thing" (fancy things that use magnets to attach different modifiers). They were functional, but I detested having to put and remove the flash holder. And I required (or at least wanted to try a snoot setup). So I made the decision to try them again, largely since the large one can be rolled into a snoot. I am happy I did. They are simple to install, store, transport, shape, and otherwise use for what I need. They don't waste light by spreading it out where your camera can't even see, and the bounce/spread they generate is of really good quality. I can't recommend the fancy magnet ones, but if you flash all day and switch modifiers frequently, you might appreciate them. I can heartily suggest these. The "newest, best thing" isn't often actually anything new. The bend/shape component is the best, (newest?), and most effective feature of the tried-and-true bounce modifier concept.Test these.
