This is a cheap method to get fantastic macro results! I quickly fired a test shot to compare the two. With my beloved and frequently used 50mm lens, I was only able to get as near to my engagement ring in the second photograph (the little ring). These have been used by me on my Sony a6000, and I'm pleased with the outcomes. The ability to use two different spacer lengths offers a lot of flexibility. When I combine the two, I may approach the subject directly and obtain a close-up macro. You can see some of the plastic's texture in the photographs I've included. This is compatible with my two lenses well. These spacers enable me to go farther away from the subject while still taking a macro photo when I use my zoom lens. This is advantageous if you require additional lighting from a macro LED ring or a similar source.The lens is simply spaced farther away from the camera to make this work. Auto focus functions just as well since the metal in the spacer connects the camera body to the lens. The spacers are constructed of metal and are of the highest quality. I had no trouble putting the spacers in or taking them out of my camera. I strongly advise you to test out these lenses if you wish to try macro photography before investing in any other lenses.

These are for use with the Oly 60mm f/2.8 macro lens and the Oly FL-LM2 kit flash with cardboard snoot/diffuser that I recently purchased. With the additional extensions, the flash is somewhat obscured because the diffuser was designed to extend to the tip of the 60mm lens; but, I haven't had any problems yet. With 26mm extensions, you can almost achieve 2:1 magnification on the m43 sensor, however the image is a little bit soft. I'm not sure if this was a focus that was overlooked.With the 60mm, these extensions perform admirably. The 10mm practically always remains on the lens. It's really challenging to utilize the 60mm's native 1:1 setting with it, but it's a good way for me to achieve 1:1 when I'm not standing an inch from the lens' tip. Meike mentions this in the instructions, but I was able to utilize the 10mm extension on the 12-40mm f/2.8 at the 40mm end but not the 12mm; fortunately, that lens has decent close focus capabilities anyhow.The unit feels less secure because of the additional lens-to-body connection, but I don't believe there is any real problem.

Let me start by saying that the macro extension tubes do function, along with all of the electronics (auto focus, aperture, etc.). It receives four stars since it is by far the most affordable method I've found to get macro tubes and electronics operating.The awful now. It feels really shaky to attach the tubes to the camera or the lens. When mounting a lens, you need to use much more pressure and effort than usual. It requires pressing the lens release button in before it will twist on when the tubes are attached to the camera body like it would normally. The manufacturing tolerances, I assume, are only below what we're all accustomed to. They feel, in a word, janky.Don't get your hopes up if you were wanting to convert your 35mm or 50mm lens into a 1:1 macro. My wider-angle lenses won't focus with any extension tubes on other than the 12mm (smallest) one. I have to use my 135mm to use the larger tubes, or perhaps all three. Although it should be stated, I assume this is not a problem with the tubes themselves but rather a result of physics. It's quite remarkable that my 135mm lens can focus when all three tubes are put together.Given that they actually work and are far less expensive than Canon tubes, I questioned how many stars to offer this product but ultimately decided on 4 for the time being. Just head right to the Canon macro extenders if cost is not a concern. If you intend to use these frequently, I'd even advise choosing the Canon versions. They are useful if, like me, you just use them occasionally.

Macro auto focus extension tubes, MEIKE MK-N-AF1-AIn essence, these three tubes performed flawlessly in every combination. With three Nikon bodies, two Nikon lenses, and one Tamron lens, I gave them a go.They all fit snuggly together, as did the three cameras and three lenses I tried using them with, but not as tightly as other people have claimed extension tubes may fit. Attachments lock with a pleasing snap and are smooth and firm.The set I received is beautiful, had good quality control, and passed my thorough testing with a variety of cameras and lenses. I spend more time indoors than I'd like due to health issues, and these tubes give me more macro options than just the Tamron 90mm Macro.I obtain a magnification of 1.64 when stacking all three of these tubes and using my Tamron 90mm 1:1 macro on my D750, which is significantly more than half the subject's original size. Using a Nikon D3500 and the 18-55mm kit lens, I was able to get a maximum magnification of 1.68x. Although the depth of field is small, the image clarity is quite impressive, and the magnification is higher than many out-of-the-box dedicated macro lenses.Would advise anyone looking to enter macro without investing a sizable sum of money to do so.Although auto-focus does function, it occasionally fails if the lens is attached to the tubes *before* the tubes are attached to the camera. To start, simply attach the tubes, and you should be good to go. However, given that the field of focus is so small, you might have to resort to manual focus.

Although they shouldn't be utilized frequently, if done creatively, they can increase the project's worth. I tried it since I'm a filmmaker and I needed to use these macro adapters for a documentary that will heavily emphasize messaging. I'm in awe. I'm using a 50mm f1.8 lens with an a7iii. I advise using a higher f stop to achieve a larger field of focus. Once you have locked focus, I also advise turning off the AF while maintaining peaking. This type of shooting calls for the use of these adapters. They didn't even scratch my lens, and as I said, these will only be used occasionally rather than on a regular basis. As a result, considering the price, I wouldn't hesitate. They are a genuine necessity. Last but not least, I advise utilizing the 10mm or 16mm separately because combining them will make it extremely close-up (unless you need that of course). Otherwise, both are surprisingly effective with AF considering their prices. I truly didn't think it would have this much worth, but I was wrong.

Right out of the box, it functions.I use a full manual lens. Remember that. Since I don't own any AF lenses, I can't even test these extensions' AF capabilities. I use manual lenses for macro photography and focus peaking for manual focus on the LCD or EVF. Great results. These may be used with any 50mm lens to get extremely near reproduction for genuine macro. The Rokinon 50mm F1.2 with these extensions focuses at approximately 2–3 inches away and is razor–sharp at F5.6 with enough DOF to take care of something 5–6mm thick, give or take a little. I use manual primes with my Fuji equipment. For this, I'm using a flash set at sync speed.I was concerned that I would require a third extension, but every new mirrorless user should put their outdated dSLR mentality to rest. You currently function with less space between your sensor and glass, therefore you don't need any further extensions. If you want to get the focus point closer, you don't need much extension.These work fantastic and offer very near focus for macro shooting without having to purchase a specialized macro lens, according to my testing with my 50mm F1.2 (Rokinon) and 85mm F1.4 (Rokinon) lenses. These are manual once more. I never employ AF.I would rate these 5/5 even if I didn't use AF because they work, fit tightly, and are generally well crafted.

I've only ever used this kit with my EOS Rebel T6i to digitize film slides. I've used a Canon EFS 18-55 mm lens or my old 28mm Pentax Takumar with the 13 and 21 mm tubes (each individually). Works fairly well, and the EF or stabilizer functions have never given me any trouble. Although the metal tabs on the tubes are not as user-friendly as the large button on the camera body, the contacts between the tube and the body and the tube and the lens are fairly smooth. Actually, what's a little stiff are the connections between adjacent tubes. The huge lens release button on the camera body is slightly hampered by the metal tab on the tube closest to the camera body, but this is just an issue with the 13 mm tube and not a significant one even then.I can't comment on the electrical integrity of two or all three tubes stacked because I've only ever used one tube at a time. I'll simply mention that when you open the package, you should carefully examine the contacts. On the back of one tube, mine only had a few little plastic encroachments over the margins of the gold. You might run into issues if your intrusions are worse than mine were.In addition to the pair that was already mounted and provided on the tube stack, they also included an extra mating set of front and back covers. Unexpected yet appreciated, especially if you wish to store the tubes that aren't currently being used individually. These days, it seems like the microfiber cloth is always included as a "extra" with the purchase of a camera attachment, but this one is really useful and all are convenient. To keep everything together, there is a lovely velvet drawstring bag. Very great touches all throughout.Overall, it's a solid set. Why only four? since I haven't even attempted using the entire stack of 3 for extremely closeups, let alone a ring flash driven through the contacts. Remain tuned.***Update*** This evening, I got the opportunity to magnify a small section of one of the slides I was digitizing using all three of the tubes. The connections were successful in driving the EF function, but I am unable to comment on the stabilization function because, under these circumstances, my SOP is to immobilize the camera with respect to the subject. Furthermore, the stacked unit seemed sturdy and there was no indication that any of the three would come unfastened. By the way, the red rings, which are the front and back seating surfaces and engagement mechanisms, appear to be made of high-quality aircraft metal and not plastic. I'm not sure if the material of the black tube is plastic or carbon fiber.The last star, I still believe, should be reserved for after I have a little more experience.
