An excellent kit for a fair price. The curved jewelry pliers are well-made and of good quality. Picking up findings is best done with a pair of bent nose tweezers. A jump ring tool and enough two-tone findings for a batch of inherited jewelry, much of which needs repairs and regular upkeep. I've used it a few times and they're effective. If you wish to replace jump rings and clasps or perform other minor repairs, I suggest using this. On my jewelry, I prefer lobster claw clasps since they are simpler to operate. I wasn't sure how they would appear, so I ordered the black. Instead of being a paint, it is more of an anodized charcoal gray. that is good because the color ought to last. Read through the numerous spilled part complaints. I guess seller paid attention because the plastic container arrived taped shut. These worked perfectly, arrived quickly, and were precisely what I needed for my senior collection. However, these rings are actually fairly thick; I had anticipated thinner rings. The quantity worked nicely, and the selection was excellent (particularly since I wasn't sure what sizes I would need). To make opening and shutting easier, I really needed two sets of pliers; I had a minor ding issue, but it wasn't anything to be concerned about. I was hesitant to buy this since I anticipated it to be a pair of incredibly inexpensive rings that would shatter quickly, but I was pleasantly surprised. The ring I purchased to fix a bracelet I was given turned out to be superior to the bracelet's original! Both the container and the jump rings work perfectly. Each pair of jump rings is wrapped and sealed in plastic, so you don't have to worry about the container opening up during shipping and jump rings all over the place.The absence of labels is something I dislike. It would have been wonderful if they had added that in so that I knew what jump rings I could use for certain projects. There is nothing on the package or in the shipping that tells me what size jump rings they are and what size wire it is, let alone aspect ratio. However, they work excellent for tasks that just call for a single size of jump ring or when used as jewelry components.It was quite sad that the curved tweezers were not included in my package. I paid for things because I wanted them, thus I was expecting to get them. The other tools work just well. They are nothing special, but they do the job. They probably won't withstand frequent use. For example, the only thing holding the pliers' working spring mechanism in place is the plastic coating. I'm scared that eventually it will peel off and become useless. As of right now, they are effective. The fact that the wire cutters are so dull is my sole gripe. Even the smallest hard wires can be severed with these. That also caused me a great deal of disappointment, as it was one of the factors in my decision to purchase the package. I wouldn't advise someone to use these chills if they intend to use jewelry or chain mail on a long-term basis. These are useful for one or two projects, but not much more. If you're buying this to replace genuine tools, do yourself a favor and spend the money. If you're purchasing it for the jump rings, I recommend purchasing them elsewhere because none of them are labeled and you can't really tell what you're getting or utilizing to duplicate your work.
