On our driveway, my son and I use these to play hockey. The straight blade of the previous sticks we were using made it difficult to hold the puck for shooting. On the other hand, these feel much better when playing because they are molded for lefties or righties. He utilizes the 43" version (he is 4'1"), whereas I am 5'9" and use the 53" version. Since the shaft has a small amount of extra length, it should last for several years until he outgrows it or it goes out. The blade's plastic construction appears to be quite strong and long-lasting. The hardwood shaft appears to be sturdy and well-made as well. These are excellent if you're searching for a cheap way to play street hockey.

Although the hockey sticks in the picture are well-made, two different types are shown. The 1010-40 model has the phrase "street" and a solid fin, however the model with the word "NHL" is superior and has holes in the fin. However, both are seen here, and yes, they sent me two left-handed sticks first, followed by a right-handed stick. Lol

It was a sweet gift for my son, who is 2.5 years old. This was ideal for him because he loves hockey and the Rangers. The wooden rangers stick we had from MSG broke. I used the white version of these twenty years ago, and they were ideal for the tennis courts and streets we used to play on. They were slightly chewed up, but other than that, they performed admirably. I recently acquired one so that I could use it on the street without damaging the wooden sticks I use for the dek. Despite having greater flex than before, they are nevertheless sufficiently light.I can feel the blade swaying a little bit when it stops or deflects the ball when I take a heavy hit from one of the adults. This isn't a bad stick for an inexpensive street hockey stick, but the old white ones seemed to have a little more flex and to be a little bit thinner. It is the best option for the money and the objective.

For starters, it was sent past the "free two day shipping" deadline and was delivered for free by overnight delivery, which was cool. I only fiddled with it for a short while, but a few things struck out.1) It is made of wood. all of it.2) Clearly shows signs of prior use, suggesting that this was a consignment item. The stick itself has wear, and at least four stickers that were added earlier can be seen in the pictures. Even though the blade has wear, I taped it before writing this evaluation.3) Seems to be reasonably durable.This stick is fantastic for playing some street hockey while goofing around, but in the long run, it will serve as a flag pole, so I wouldn't suggest using it heavily. Otherwise, scroll on and spend a bit more money on a better item.
