Due to this, the strap is incredibly comfortable while carrying a big object like a vintage Les Paul that hasn't been weight eased.Regarding style, it's essentially what I was going for—subtle, subdued, but not monotonous. Rich, dark, two-tone brown leather is complemented by gold stitching on this item. My red SG, Honeyburst Les Paul, and red ES335 all look great with the strap.The strap appears to be well-made. The fact that Fender produces these "Strap Blocks" leads me to believe that they must have had Fender guitars in mind.They work well with the strap buttons on my Fender Telecaster guitars, but not so well with the ones on my Gibson guitars.Stats for the Fender Strap Block —————————————————-s:: 1 inch total diameter: 3/8-inch strap button opening diameter: Measures 1/4 inch thick.The Fenders' strap buttons have a bigger head and more space for the strap and the Strap Block, making them much more functional. There is less room and the straps don't seem as secure on the Gibson, which seems to utilize the same size strap button on most of their guitars. The Fender Strap Blocks must be abandoned or I must use a thinner strap.The design and head size of the two distinct guitar strap buttons change the most when you examine them more closely. Because the strap button stretches out past the original 14 inch spacing and has a bigger diameter, the Fender actually has a larger gap than that. The Fender Strap Block will not stay on, and the Gibson strap buttons do not have a large head. I like how it looks and is done. The way the leather ends taper toward the strap buttons is incredibly appealing. Unfortunately, when I tried the strap with my Epiphone Les Paul, I found that it wasn't appropriate for this type of guitar (8 pounds). The reason I docked a rating is not because most people would consider it stupid for me to use a 2" cotton strap on an LP. I took away a star because it kept catching my attention while playing and itched around my neck and shoulder. It had to be moved all the time. Since then, I've relocated the strap to my Ibanez acoustic (AEG20EVV), where it works so well that I almost forget it's there (as it should be). In light of the affordable price and fashionable appearance, I'm pleased with my purchase.

Wow. This strap has me genuinely impressed. When I realized that it was cheaper, I went to the product page to write my review after having originally bought one for my new telecaster. I reasoned that since I enjoyed it so much, I ought to get one for my old strat.PROS: Exceptionally high quality. The material is heavy. The suede looks good. Definitely not cheap.- includes a leather strap and two strap locks (nice if you like the strap going to your headstock instead of the body)Pick holder: On the strap's reverse side, there is ANOTHER unnoticed pick holder (at the end in the suede). Since the maker makes no mention of this, I choose to share a picture of my orange pick in the holder. Although the pick is rather deep, this one isn't the best for rapid grabs during a performance. However, it's useful to have as a fallback option.CONS: I wish the pick holder was located closer to the strap's end. Though not a big deal.I can't stress enough how highly I suggest this strap. This is a fantastic option if you want something elegant that nearly seems vintage. Although TimbreGear appears to only have seven goods available at the time of this review, I will definitely keep them in mind for future music-related accessories. The two guitar straps have my utmost satisfaction. Excellent value for both comfort and functionality.The "pick-holders" are a practical joke made to I have no idea what sort of pick it is, but it doesn't matter to me. Reading other reviews made it quite evident that they are useless. Such a great strap. It works great for both my bass and me! The appearance is also sick. Like all straps, this one is adjustable, and it's made of incredibly plush material. Because of the oppressive heat where I live in Texas, I occasionally enjoy practicing without a shirt. If I ventured to play without a shirt, other straps I've worn in the past would chafe and cut into my skin. But look at this! Oh my God, before switching to a suede strap, this one was the most comfy you could wear. I can't really comment on the durability because I've just used it for about an hour. Single stitching on the leather straps connecting the instrument should be sufficient for the majority of instruments (weight). The way it feels and looks is well worth the price. Additionally, a small goodie bag including guitar picks and other accessories was sent. The picks will eventually be used in an art project, but wow what a wonderful price! I paid for basic shipping as well, yet I still got my package in two days. Excellent service everywhere you look.

For years, I've been a fan of Ernie Ball items. It's made in the USA and a terrific strap for the money! adore that Some have expressed concern that the leather is too thin, that it might rip, and that even if it doesn't, the strap might come off since the leather surrounding the perforations becomes ragged and loose. If you're concerned about things of that nature, I recommend investing in some strap locks for a few dollars. Since I don't play one of those double-necked solid-body mahogany electric guitars, I'm not concerned that the leather will rip. My issue was actually that the leather on two previous straps I purchased was too thick. The leather was so thick and stiff that attaching it to the guitar was a pain. Therefore, I suppose that the Goldilocks of leather thickness can't satisfy everyone. But I can definitely wear this straightforward strap! m/

First off, ignore the boilerplate description that claims it is 2 inches wide (which could be appropriate for a guitar strap perhaps); this one is actually 3/4" broad, with the exception of the wider portion where the headstock chord attaches.The amp wire jack on my tenor ukulele serves as both a strap button and is bigger than the several precut slot/hole connectors on this strap. So, using the circle/hole cutter tool included in the X-Acto knife set, I measured which slot or hole to use for the right playing position and then cut it a little larger. (If you are very cautious not to make the button hole too huge, any razor-sharp craft knife, even a box-cutter, will work.) I trimmed off the excess strap that would have dangled below the button once I had my strap button the proper size (yours may be the same without enlarging) (rounding the cut precisely, for looks).I then held the two ends of the shoelace-like headstock cord together and secured a single knot with both ends. To wrap it around and secure the knotted end, slide the other, unknotted end of the loop under the strings on your headstock, right above the nut. Next, insert the knot through the wide slot at the strap's end (after untwisting, so the strap is flat from button end to headstock end). This step should eventually lead you there through trial and error.Oh, and remember to take the cord into account when determining which of the strap's button holes to adjust (if necessary).If it has a strap button, this is a great strap for a tenor uke. I believe that's all you'd need. (This type of strap, in my opinion, is superior to the hook kind that wraps under the ukulele body and fastens to the bottom of the soundhole because those no-button-needed wrap/straps deaden the instrument's resonance slightly.)
