To help my son with his YouTube videos, I bought this. Before giving it to him, I made the decision to test it first. Considering that I had never even used a microscope before, I installed an application from the Microsoft store and gave it a shot. It performed admirably. I sung a song, and usually, I detest hearing my voice on record. Actually, I was so satisfied with the sound that I think I'll keep it for a few songs and then decide where to go from there. A USB microphone like this one. For $52, don't expect a professional microphone of the highest caliber. In any case, it is easily worth $100. When not in use, the microphone is exceptionally well-packaged for travel or storage. The desk stand is strong and substantial enough to maintain its position. Although the shock mount is adequate, the total shock system is a bit on the tiny side and is fitted so tightly that some carry through vibrations are possible. Given that I live in a quiet, low-vibration area, it worked nicely for me. The cardioid polar pattern of the microphone did a good job of picking up only the sounds that I wanted to record and had good sound reproduction. In terms of gameplay, unless you are sitting very next to your workstation, this mounting is probably not what you want. A more flexible and maneuverable mount that is clamped on would be preferable. The microphone would be excellent on its own.The building is well made. Each component feels sturdy and like it belongs in a high-quality product. If you want an excellent recording setup and you require a tiny desk. This one is worthwhile to buy.

I use many different types of mics as a youtuber. As long as you have a computer with a free USB 2 or 3 port available to plug into, this particular kit is a full, ready-to-use bundle. Recently, I had to buy two mics for a project at work. One of them comes from a bigger, more renowned business. This model was the other. I looked for a less expensive solution because I had invested a lot of money on the first mic just to discover that I would require two. After all, I was only recording a podcast and wouldn't need the best microphone to complete the set-up I already had.While I'm still testing this microphone, I made a head-to-head comparison with a more well-known type (let's just say its name is inspired by a mythological creature that inhabits the snowy Himalayan highlands) and discovered that the two mics sounded remarkably similar. Although I haven't done any additional analysis on the two, pairing them together closely enough to record the same audio source has resulted in very tiny changes (if any). In most circumstances, this is a more than sufficient solution if you don't require a studio-quality mic, which you wouldn't find at this price point anyhow.

I was hesitant to spend $10 on a microphone because I've had bad experiences with inexpensive microphones that don't last very long or don't work at all, but this one much exceeded my expectations. It was exactly what I wanted, and I purchased it for Cortana voice detection on my Windows 10 desktop. More than I anticipated with a cheap mic, I can now engage voice controls from more than 15 feet away from my desk (even with my fan on, as shown in the linked video) when the sensitivity is set to its maximum. The provided accessories, such as the pouch and mounting clip, were very helpful for mounting the microphone in a covert manner (I pinned this one under one of my monitors and still get excellent voice recognition results).The only thing left to do is figure out how to utilize my computer's enhanced capabilities.

I use this as a backup microphone when I'm doing live videos and streaming. It works well for a beginner's microphone. It is inexpensive and equipped with everything you need to set it up. Even when the microphone is mounted in the shock mount, the bright blue finish is noticeable. (However, I believe a black shock mount would look nicer than a dirty silver or gold one.)Despite being simple to set up, the microphone is not exactly plug-and-play. This means that the sound quality won't be perfect out of the box. You will need to use some kind of recording software to prevent the microphone from picking up every sound in the room since it doesn't come with any special software. There is a faint hum that never completely goes away, although it might be muffled out if you are playing a game or have music playing in the backdrop of your livestream or video.The actual setup is extremely simple. All of the pieces screw in well, and the articulated arm is completely adjustable. The pop filter attaches to the arm snugly, but the screw holding the filter to its articulated arm occasionally comes away and needs to be tightened.But I would advise getting a better desk clamp. Its included clamp was not the best and bent quite easily. However, I now use same clamp to secure a camera to a tripod so that it can stand upright.In general, you receive what you pay for. By no means is this a professional kit, but it is a reasonably priced entry-level gear that offers acceptable sound for the price. This microphone is a wonderful place to start if you are new to streaming or making videos for YouTube because you can learn the ropes without blowing all of your money on expensive equipment. I'm pretty happy with it overall.

I've been looking for an adapter for my GoPro Hero 4 silver for a while, but none of them have ever worked before.
