This Aleppo pepper, which I just got last week, appears to be as fresh and high-quality as anything I've ever bought from other retailers. However, according to the label on the container, this spice was manufactured on shared equipment with a number of common allergies and sensitivities, including wheat. I had a margarita with red pepper flakes and had to purchase more to take home. I constantly add to the collection of hot and spicy condiments since I enjoy spicy food. Despite the fact that I enjoy this grind, I will use it on pizza, eggs, potatoes, etc. Corn is a common example. Be astounded by the results after wrapping one ear in aluminum foil and seasoning it with this spice. Still seeking for a crushed flakes version for the margaritas, even though this works in a pinch!
