Composite decks are made from recycled materials, so they are much more environmentally friendly than wood decks. Do composite decks get hot?

We often get asked, “Do composite decks get hot?” The answer is, it depends. Composite decks can get hot, but not any hotter than traditional wooden decks. The difference is that composite decks are made with a material that does not absorb heat the way that wood does. This means that the heat will not be transferred to your feet the way it would with a wooden deck. There are a few things you can do to keep your composite deck cooler in the summer months. One is to use a light-colored decking material. This will reflect more

Yaheetech 27PCS Patio Pavers Tiles Interlocking Wood Flooring Deck Tiles Hardwood Flooring Fir Wood and Plastic Indoor Outdoor Applications Stripe Pattern 12 x 12in Review:

Excellent value for the money! was straightforward to install and came in a well-packaged container. fantastic for our patio. excellent drainage beneath the tiles A few of the pieces had splinters, but the most were in excellent color-matching condition. We'll see how they fare over time since we've just had them for a little over a month.

Mammoth Easy Lock Sustainably Sourced Solid Acacia Wood Oiled Finish Interlocking Deck Tiles, Water Resistant Outdoor Patio Pavers or Composite Decking Flooring, Pack of 11 (11 SQFT) (Stripe (6 Slat)) Review:

Excellent and extremely simple to use product! Actually, I purchased these to line the floor of my shower. They were fairly simple to put together, and if necessary, only a good set of sturdy scissors were required to separate some of the slats. You can see how similar the colors are by comparing the objects on the bench to this product and the ones on the floor to authentic teak shower mats. This product has been in use by us for approximately three weeks now without any problems. There are no splinters, chemical odors, or other unpleasant characteristics, and it is not slippery. I got a shower mat with holes that I positioned underneath because they are slippery when placed directly on the tiles. This shouldn't be a problem, though, if you're decorating an entire room. However, if you're searching for a little space like this, you might require rubber feet or something underneath to give this device more "grip" on slick surfaces.

Domi Outdoor Living Patio Deck Tiles, 12 x 12 inches Composite Interlocking Decking Tile, Four Slat Plastic Outdoor Flooring, 9 Pieces One Pack, Dark Grey Review:

Although it was quick and simple, these are really expensive and don't stretch as far as you may think they would. We needed something quick to lay down for outside of our outdoor shower.

Abba Patio 12 x 12 Inch Outdoor Four Slat Wood-Plastic Composite Interlocking Decking Tile, 6 Pieces One Pack, Dark Grey Review:

These composite decking interlocking tiles are fantastic! They feel quite well crafted and are sturdy. They are great since they are over an inch thick. They fit together more easily than I could have anticipated, which I value. What I particularly appreciate about these is that I can pick them up and transfer them very simply to wherever I want to in a matter of seconds, unlike pavers, which must be dug out and placed in the ground where they remain afterwards immobile.I'm currently using them in front of our fire pit as a platform. It is much nicer to stand on these than the grass when we toast marshmallows and hot dogs. Additionally, they keep some insects off our feet. Despite the fact that I'd like to get another set to make it even wider or have two separate platforms, my husband and I can both stand on it comfortably. As my bucket never sits straight while filling in the spring, I will move these in front of one of our rain barrels where the ground isn't quite flat. It will be a pleasant difference to finally have a level workspace once I can place some dirt under these squares. I also appreciate that you can arrange them so that the lines run back and forth or straight across. In exchange for my frank evaluation, I was given these for free, and I couldn't be happier with that.

Multy Industries Multy Home MT5100057 6-Pack Deck and Balcony Tile, 12 by 12-Inch, Slate Review:

An excellent choice for a moist location with a top-notch flat floor already in place. These, as previously mentioned, were offered at Costco in packs of 10 but came in a variety of various flavors. Additionally, the cost at Costco was $1.50 or $2 per piece. Unfortunately, Costco does not carry these, so I got the goods through Amazon to finish a portion of the floor. I placed an Amazon order for one of the six-packs, and I've included a photo of the actual item I received. I used the tiles to cover a 10 × 15 space, removing them roughly every six months to clean the floor and the tiles. It's best to have a few extra tiles because the connecting tabs did break on a couple. The product is not the least expensive solution for anything other than a tiny area at $5 per piece via Amazon. But Amazon is a great choice if, like me, you need a few more to fill in a gap.

Samincom Deck Tiles Interlocking Wood-Plastic Composites Patio Pavers, Water Resistant Flooring Tiles Indoor Outdoor, 12"× 12", Pack of 11 (11 sq.ft), White Review:

We put up these deck tiles because we got bored of painting the concrete slab surrounding the hot tub every year. When getting in and out of the hot tub in the cold, they went down quickly and easily, look wonderful, and are warmer on the feet. Having a wide selection of hues makes it difficult to decide. We're content.

Acacia Wood Deck Tiles | Composite Decking, Flooring & Patio Pavers | Indoor and Outdoor Flooring Tiles| Check Pattern 12”×12” - Pack of 11 Tiles Review:

Even today, when it isn't completely finished, it appears good and sturdy and not too frightening to walk on. the first image shows one box Two boxes may be seen in the second image. will continue uploading till my deck is complete. Very simple to install and doesn't seem to move even before the job is finished. Compared to the deck I was walking on and am now utilizing as subflooring, I feel safer on this material. I also concur that even after using a slip-resistant stain, this deck is less slippery than the old one if maintained as advised. A third image shows three of these boxes. I need at least three more of these boxes to finish the floor because my deck is so little (the longest route is the length of two boxsprings and the shortest is roughly one boxspring). I am so pleased with these so far. a fun fact for you guys, guess what? The Ark of the Covenant was made of acacia wood! What do you say? This content is fantastic; it is much, much better than I anticipated. The primary reason I purchased these is because it is actually secure to walk on and not at all slick even when it rains. My deck was dangerous before, but it is now secure. This deck is not at all a large deck, yet it still required 9 boxes to complete.

Pure Garden 50-LG1190 Patio and Deck Tiles – Interlocking Criss-Cross Pattern Outdoor Flooring Weather and Slip Resistant Square (Terra Cotta Color 6 Pcs), Review:

I'm renting a little apartment with a balcony. Old and filthy balcony wood was used. I wished I could lounge barefoot on my balcony whenever I pleased. In addition, I wanted a space where my two tiny yorkies could unwind and where I wouldn't have to scrub bare wood if they unintentionally urinated on the floor. For this project, I ordered SIX crates. I basically ordered however many I believed I would need without measuring. I am glad I bought those tiles. They are fantastic and quite simple to install. I'm a satisfied, happy customer!
