These track lighting heads are a significant upgrade from the previous ones I had, which burned hot and were bulky. They are really simple to install and have amazing looks. I was having trouble deciding what should replace the (very outdated) light fixture in my entryway when suddenly everything fell into place. I was able to pay tribute to my mother and draw attention to the amazing artwork she had created. My entry is now a miniature art exhibition with each of the four locations pointing to a different image. It appears fantastic! The light isn't too bright, but I'm still debating whether to add a dimmer. It took only a short time to install. A new church lobby needed a way to get additional light for a reasonable price. There were cheap M16 halogen bulbs installed in "H"-shaped Halo tracks. These fittings, which cost around $10 each, performed admirably for us. Our lobby is considerably nicer now that we've installed BR30 LED bulbs, and the pricing was extremely cheap. Make that the three wire H-type tracks are present and oriented correctly. (It is possible to do it incorrectly, but if you do it correctly, it will be much simpler.) Moreover! When installing these, be sure the switch is not in use. Your fingertips could get caught in the live 120 volt electrical current inside the track.

They arrived in individual boxes. Because of the tight fit, they are a little challenging to install. The base-to-track module has a sliding lever that must be pulled down before being twisted counterclockwise into track. Installed solely by hand-grip. By utilizing water pump pliers, I didn't want to cause any harm. They finally take a seat and make a small "snik." As soon as they are in the desired location, you can modify them for the required rotation and angle. wonderful little lights They will outlive me if they last as long as they have promised. In addition, non-LED fixtures are being replaced, which consumes more energy and generates a lot more heat. sufficient to discolor and melt They function flawlessly with the dimmer switch I have, and at maximum output, they resemble daylight. Happy with the purchase. More significantly, Mom is joyful, and everyone is joyful when Mom is joyful.

One word of advice: remove the end caps first, then slide in each light fixture to where you want it. When we tried to put the individual light fixtures in the track and turn them 90 degrees as instructed, the tracks split apart just enough to prevent electrical contact into the fixtures. To allow track to fixture contact and electrical passage to the lights, I then had to force the track sides back into place using strong pliers and soft cushioning. You'll be pleased with the effects once you've got the lights in the desired position and have replaced the end caps. I believe that included this in the instructions would solve a lot of the issues that people are having with this and other kits of a similar nature. Apart than that, this track lighting kit is excellent.

To replace earlier track lights from the 1980s or thereabouts in our guest home, I ordered three sets of these "heads." Shipping was quite quick! The new heads I had to "twist" into the track was the only problem I encountered. Quite durable, and I was concerned about damaging them. Consequently, I applied clear household oil to each of the three contact tabs on each head. I then carefully twisted a pair of channel lock pliers clockwise while slowly inserting the contacts into the track groove until they clicked into place. The old dimmers that were there, from around 1980, worked perfectly with them and they work fantastically. Well-made purchase!
