I also appreciated that it arrived quickly. First, I loved that we could get the single item without also ordering the screw drive or a component of a rail system, etc. In contrast to some of the other openers, the Genie is simple to install; if it isn't put together properly, you'll have a hard time taking it apart. As the instructions were a little hazy, it happened a few times. Given that I have a 1/2 horsepower screw drive double speed system with four (4) openers that has served us since around 2001, I believe Genie offers more value for the money. The only issue was that my wife might have accidentally bumped the door before it fully raised, shattering the plastic trolley screw drive carriage. I liken this to a fuse; it's better for it to blow than the motor, the screw drive, or a lot worse things. Once more, it's easy and adds so much! You might get the precise size of the faux window you need for your garage doors by cutting the sheet magnets to your desired size.The day after receiving my order, I ordered two additional sets since I was so impressed with the goods. Plain garage doors have never been my favorite, especially when they face the front of the house like ours does. Since the garage at our new home is very simple, I wanted to give it a little makeover. The garage doors at our previous homes were built of wood, so I was unable to use the magnetic windows I had always wanted for them. I was overjoyed to use these magnet windows when I brought a refrigerator magnet out to our garage and attached it to the door (as you can see in the pictures I also bought the magnetic handles and hinges). I initially used Lysol wipes and alcohol to clean the door, then I let it dry before attaching them. Simple! To make sure it was even, I measured it out using blue tape and a tape measure. Such a significant change! In our vast subdivision, our garage door is pretty much the only one with these, and it looks wonderful! You won't regret purchasing them! I invested roughly $50 total. less expensive than purchasing them from home improvement retailers!
