The issue is caused by the way the plastic mat is folded horizontally to fit inside the retail box, which results in a horizontal crease (and subsequent multi-note triggering). Because it was predicted to rain and because school was out once more in my neighborhood, I ordered this product. I have four grandchildren, ages 7, 2, 2, and 1. The 7-year-old found it difficult at first since, you know, kids her age assume they know everything. However, after showing her the CARDS, she conquered it! Oh what fun, the other children are now learning their colors and numbers in a different way! If there is such a thing, I should have bought the one where kids could learn the musical keys for the keyboard. Lol.... However, I appreciate the chance. On schedule and intact, the item was delivered. My four-year-old son enjoys using it and picked up using it rather quickly. We make more noise than music when I play it with him, but we both like it. I am reminded of Tom Hanks playing the floor piano in the toy store in the movie BIG. The addition of a volume control button is the only change I would advise the manufacturer to make. My son loves how loud it is, but sometimes it would be good to be able to lower the level. Overall, it's a fantastic value; my 4-year-old likes it and there haven't been any issues.

Despite the fact that this toy is intended for children aged 3 and above, my 28-year-old boyfriend found it more entertaining than my 2-year-old nephew. However, my partner was impressed with the variety of instrument noises and the fact that it records. After the initial excitement wore off, my nephew quickly became bored and preferred to play with his cars or basketball hoop. It speaks more to his present attention span than it does the toy, which is by no means a criticism:) This toy is still something I'd suggest because it's versatile, well-made, and lightweight.

This was the only thing my teenage daughter wanted for Christmas, so I ordered it for her. It makes me happy! There are many excellent sound and rhythm options, an LED display that functions flawlessly, and NO PLUG OR CORD PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER! (I've seen some people have problems there!) possesses an HDMI port to connect it to a computer or television. The stand is reliable, simple to put together, etc. Excellent sound quality, especially considering the cost. Not sure why some people complained about the sound or quality when ours arrived in priest in perfect shape and was packaged carefully. I love that you can wear headphones with it and it still sounds wonderful (no offense to my adolescent, but mommy doesn't want to hear it 24/7, so she got headphones for Christmas too HAHA). The volume works fine (saw others has trouble there as well, we didn't). The included microphone is of VERY poor quality in terms of construction, however this is the ONLY drawback and is not reason enough to deduct any stars. The microphone is made of lightweight, inexpensive plastic, but we haven't actually used it because she doesn't like to sing. Once she does, I'll provide an update on the sound quality. Since a mic is a "accessory" and I got this for the keyboard itself, not the accessories, we would simply purchase a new one if she chose to use one frequently. A mic is simple to obtain, and with the variety of options available, you can customize the accessories to suit your needs. Overall, it's a GREAT product that sounds gorgeous and I, along with my teen, could not be happier with! I'm excited to hear about all of her future musical endeavors and compositions! Many thanks
