Coin collecting can be a very lucrative hobby. With the right knowledge and a little bit of luck, you can make a lot of money from coin collecting. Of course, like any investment, there is always a risk involved. However, if you do your research and invest wisely, you could see a great return on your investment.
There is no definitive answer to this question as different people have different hobbies and interests. However, it is fair to say that Millennials are less likely to collect coins than older generations. This is likely due to a combination of factors, including the fact that coins are not as valuable or useful as they once were, and the fact that Millennials are generally more interested in digital and technological forms of entertainment and communication.
Hobby Lobby does not have coin protectors.
Numismatics is the study of coins, paper money, and medals. It is considered a hobby and an investment. There are many ways to become a numismatist. The most common way is to start collecting coins. This can be done by visiting your local bank or a coin dealer. You can also join a coin club or attend a coin show.

REVISION: July 21, 2016RATING IS UPGRADED FROM 4 TO 5 STARS.I received an email from the seller requesting me to give the product a review. I replied to their email by stating that I had previously done so and that I had given it four stars. I also said that I had numerous pages tear while adding 2x2 flips. I also advised that instead of using the dollar bill sleeve, they add a couple 2x2 flips for huge dollar coins (or in addition to them).Without my request, Rick from Hobby Masters ([...]/coins) replied and promptly delivered four additional page inserts and a few enormous dollar 2x2 flips.I will make future purchases from this firm because of their exceptional customer service. I have changed my rating from 4 stars to 4 stars because their level of customer service obviously merits 5 stars.Original published on July 11, 2016 ==============PROS: A nice selection for someone just starting to display their collectionCONS: When putting in 2 x 2 flips, a few of the sleeves tore on three pages. Large dollar 2 x 2 flips being included in the bundle would be good.Regarding the productOverall, a decent beginner package On schedule and securely wrapped. The kit came with a 2 1/2 inch blue binder with three D-rings, a cardboard coin box, ten currency pages (for bills), and twenty pages to hold 2 x 2 flips, as promised. Finally, it contained 150 flips in 3 sizes of 2 x 2 cardboard flip coin containers, each with a plastic circular center. There are no marks on the cardboard inserts itself, as there should be. Three sizes are available. The smaller flips accommodate dimes and cents as well as the next-size nickels and quarters, Kennedy half dollars as well as the new small dollar coins. An explanation of the sizes and the coins that go in each one would have been helpful for beginners. to demonstrate how to staple them, too.NOTE: The flips were simply in a plastic bag, so I am unsure if they are PVC-free despite the fact that they make no mention of it. Despite the claim in the advertisement, they are "ARCHIVAL SAFE!"The plastic pages require extreme caution when using staples. The only issue I had was that when I inserted 2 x 2 flips along the inside edge of three pages, several of the sleeves tore. The binder should not be stood up with the binding vertical as it appears to be somewhat weak for the weight it can support. It might disintegrate.Just my viewpoint.

Each Book Holds 36 Elongated Cents and 8 Elongated Quarters (88 Total)

Anyone who collects pressed pennies will love these penny passport books (or pressed quarters, or pressed Euros, as all of these will fit inside). The book is designed with a page for larger coins like quarters and euros and a few pages dedicated to pennies. Once inserted, the coins fit snugly, making it challenging to rearrange them but also indicating that they are securely in place, allowing you to display your collection without concern that it will break. This product has a stylish cover and is composed of high-quality materials. I kept one and gifted the other. The inclusion of the two free pressed pennies is a great extra.

My child enjoys collecting pressed pennies. These are excellent because they have larger spaces for pressed quarters and can store his pennies as well. The only thing I would change is to have one side sewn down. Every time he looks at his book, the quarters fall out because both sides are open. Additionally, it would imply that I could place pennies there and they would remain. We don't have a lot of quarters, so I'd want to fill in some blank spaces in his books. However, you can envision the pennies if the quarters fall out. The book's quality is still good both inside and out. He will always be able to get new penny novels because this brand is simple to find in shops and online.

Both this one and the ones I bought are exactly what they should be. a novelty product. It is not described as a silver coin, but rather as silver plated. I noticed in one comment that the person was upset with the piece after receiving it "to find out it was not actual silver." I enjoy collecting silver coins very much. Anyone who believed they could purchase a silver coin for $10 does not understand silver. The only reason I gave it a 4 star rating was because I was a little let down by the coins' smudges, which nearly gave the impression that plastic or another material had come into contact with the coin and left a patchy residue. In the end, I am content with the coins I have thus far. In a few years, they will become excellent discussion starters.

LOOK AND FEEL OF GENUINE COINS. Our coins are very dense, and have the look, feel and sound of real metal pirate coins. They are made of zinc making them safe, sturdy and resistant to unwanted tarnishing and discoloration. We've included a variety of dazzling gold, silver, antique silver and rustic gold finishes.
WE LOVE OUR CUSTOMERS. If you’re in any way shape or form unhappy with your we’ll issue a full refund. We're only satisfied when you are!
AWESOME GIFT AND ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES. Everyone loves our treasure coins and they use them in birthday goodie bags, birthday presents, decorations, pirate costumes, and treasure chests.
PERFECT SIZE. Each pirate coin measures 3/4†in diameter which is roughly the size of a quarter. These gold and silver silver doubloon replicas are portable and fit perfect in the palm of your hand.
MODELED AFTER REAL WORLD TREASURE. The pirate coins are inspired by hand-struck Spanish 2 Escudo Doubloons minted between 1651 to 1773. While most of the fleets carrying the original precious merchandise made it to their destination, many were lost and sea, leaving the glistening treasures to be discovered by explorers and pirates for centuries to come.

I've bought two sets of these coins and am happy with my purchases. Metal coins generate a lovely clinking sound when they are poured into a pile. They have a fair weight to them despite being a little on the thin side (about the thickness of a US dime with a greater diameter). Coins made of gold and silver have a good sheen and will sparkle as expected in the sun. Grab a $1 bill from your wallet; it's usually very worn down. The copper coins are worn, as you might expect from the most widely used coinage.Even if there are different amounts of each coin in each lot, I'm still satisfied with the outcome. The breakdown of the coins in the two 100-coin lots I bought is as follows: I received 25 silver coins in both lots (50 silver total out of 200 coins), 25 gold coins in the first lot but 30 gold coins in the second lot (55 gold total out of 200 coins), and 50 copper coins in the first lot but 45 copper coins in the second lot (95 total copper out of 200 coins). Although I frequently would deduct a star for consistency, the coins are excellent and function nicely as D

State Quarter Map Quarter Collection
Unique Design
Map has slots for all U.S. Territories and the District of Columbia.

I purchased this map as a Christmas present for my 11-year-old son. Since it's instructive and he was already saving some quarters, I thought it would be entertaining. But now he is fixated. This map only covers the years 1999 through 2009 because I didn't understand there were different state quarters for each year, but he doesn't seem to mind.It was a little challenging to remove the circular piece that pops out to insert the quarter into the map, but as we figured it out with a standard kitchen knife, it worked well, quickly, and easily.

This is just what I needed. I needed something that, when put in a little book (about 8" x 6.5"), I could open up and readily see the 50 state quarters. The quarters fit snugly and won't fall out when I insert them. But if you ever need to, you can easily delete them.Between the two layers of quarters, there is an additional flap that folds over within the book to serve as a barrier of protection. Therefore, when the folder closes, they won't come into contact with the other coins. You can see the quarters nicely arranged when you fully open this. This was a straightforward, small, sturdy, and safe way to store and display my state quarters. Also, everything is reasonably priced. You won't be sorry.

:::::::: The third update, which I guarantee will be the final, is as follows:I then ordered two more sets because the price was reasonable when I received the last set of coins, which were substantially less tarnished than my initial two sets. OH MY GOD! Considering how perfect these two sets are, I'm pleased I did! No rusting occurs, and the packaging is much improved! It arrived in a plastic case with plastic covers protecting the coins and plastic films covering the backside of each coin. The coins themselves are in really fantastic shape! They have the best shine of any coins ever and are completely flawless! They are excellent! I discovered the reason behind the coins' inconsistent conditions. The Noble Collection sold this most recent order. FFB Direct sold the other sellers with the tarnished coins and subpar packing, while The Go-To Store sold the worst set. Make sure the seller is the Noble collection if you purchase these coins. I updated my pics to show the noble collection package and how shiny the sickle is.Update number two is:This product's price decreased from $21 to $17 and then to $15, as I could see. I then made the decision to purchase another pair just for fun. To my amazement, the set that arrived is in fantastic shape! On one side, the sickle still has a TINY amount of tarnish, however it is not perceptible. I am overjoyed with this collection of coins. It's very much hit or miss to purchase this stuff.::UPDATE::After returning the first set, I ordered fresh coins, and this time I was let down. Thankfully, the galleon was flawless on both sides and the case was genuinely brand-new this time! The Knut was in much better condition than the first one I got, but the sides of this one are still rusted. Even though one side of the sickle is flawless, the other side is foggy, and this time it's the entire face of the coin that let us down. Why this keeps happening is beyond me. I updated my photos, holding the second sickle I got. You can see that while the wizard side is entirely matte and hazy, the dragon-side easily reflects my image. How is Amazon doing?the initial post:I'm devastated. I was really anticipating receiving these coins. Although I had read in several reviews that some coins had been scratched or cracked, I didn't anticipate such dismal luck. I wouldn't mind a minor ding or chip as much as the significant rusting and discoloration my coins have. The sickle has a persistent hazy tarnish throughout its face and is entirely dull on both sides. The galleon has one side that is flawlessly shiny and the other side that has some blotchy cloudiness on the edges and in the middle. The edges of the knut are entirely corroded and scraped, looking like someone dragged the edge over a concrete pavement. The wizard on the knut has been fully scraped, and you can tell that the golden coloring has also been removed. There are some scratches on the back of the case, and it appears that someone tried to cover them up with a black Sharpie. The shining portion of the galleon has a lovely appearance, and each coin has a decent thickness and weight. The packaging, a tiny box, is very lovely. I'll be returning this set and placing a new order in the hopes that they'll send me one that's in better condition. Overall, I'm dissatisfied with Amazon for claiming that this item is "new" when it is OBVIOUSLY used and flawed.

I received the item in perfect condition, packaged in a plastic sleeve. The record has a gorgeous appearance, and the plastic sleeves are in excellent shape. There is less concern that valuable coins will fall out because to the little flaps' reasonable currency security. Of course, you shouldn't try to leap on it or act as though it's unbeatable. Although a fantastic product, it fell short of my expectations.I have a collection of coins called Pokemon Trading Cards, which are about the size of standard US 50 cent coins. Later, I'll include pictures. This would have worked perfectly if the pockets had been bigger.

There are a few factors that suggest coin collecting may be on the decline. The most obvious factor is the decreasing circulation of coins. With the rise of debit and credit cards, people are using cash less and less. This means there are fewer opportunities for people to stumble upon an old coin and decide to start a collection. In addition, the price of gold and silver has increased in recent years, making coins worth melting down for their precious metal content rather than collecting. Finally, the younger generation doesn't seem to be as interested in coin collecting as previous generations. This could be due to the

If you have old coins that you are unsure what to do with, you may be wondering if you should keep them. There are a few things to consider before making a decision. First, are the coins valuable? If they are not valuable, it may not be worth keeping them. Second, do you have a sentimental attachment to the coins? If so, you may want to keep them even if they are not valuable. Third, do you have a place to store the coins safely? If not, they may be better off in a bank or dealer's vault. Ultimately, the decision
There is no one answer to this question as it largely depends on the current market conditions and trends. However, some coins that have been known to increase in value over time are Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash. These coins have all shown strong growth potential over the years and are often considered to be good investments.
