I chose to buy 2 of the containers after reading the reviews and seeing so many positive ones regarding them. Although there were a few unfavorable reviews, the majority of them were complimentary. My food containers have now been delivered. They appear to be completely new. Each container came with a scooper, and the tags and labels were still attached. The rubber seals are excellent. Each container is in fantastic condition according to my inspection. There are no faults, worn seals, or cracks as some of the unfavorable reviews claimed. I placed an order for 15lb bag containers. After washing and drying them, I filled each one with my dogs' food. There is a lot of space. And each container has extra space to spare. Taste of the Wild Bison for puppies is on the right. Racheal Ray Grain Free Bison is located on the left. These are kibble-sized foods. I suppose those who claimed that a 15-pound bag of food wouldn't fit might have a larger bag of dog food. There is greater room between each kibble the larger the meal. Even the tags on the containers stated, "Depending on amount of kibble," that a bag might hold up to 15 lbs. To show how nicely the 15 lb. of little kibble meal fits in the containers, look at the photographs. The canisters in our pantry fit perfectly under the shelf. The square shape is particularly wonderful because it fits in that space exactly. A huge pack of puppy training pads and 2 containers fit wonderfully. The quality appears decent, and the containers are airtight and well-sealed. It's time to put them to use for a bit and see how they hold up to regular use. Updates coming in a few months. Unless I forget. LoL.

Strong, well-made container. I've seen some of the other reviews where people complain about how cheap it is, how the rim fractures, or other things. But this container's quality is obvious when you examine it and use it. Additionally, if the rim fractures, they probably overtightened the lid's twist. I'm not sure what he's complaining about because one individual claimed that the business sent him a new rim after he complained. I recently acquired another Vittles container after owning a smaller model for just over a year. (I usually have two different types of dog food; I wanted to add another.) I also don't just flush money down the toilet. I would not have placed an order for a second container if I had felt the first one was inadequate. Being able to travel and camp without worrying about the dog food becoming wet from morning dew or even heavy rain is quite convenient. In the end, I'm a happy customer.

According to the packaging, it can carry more than 54 pounds of dog food. We purchase two 25.3# bags at a time. This image shows the container with one full bag inside; to me, it appears to be more than halfway filled. I was afraid the second bag wouldn't fit and I'd end up with a partially full, open bag of dog food — mouse heaven — so I didn't take the chance of opening it and trying to pour it in. How could they truly know how much it would contain since all this has to do with food density, I'm sure. Not to worry... Until these dogs finish a few meals and give me enough room to add the second bag to the top, I'll leave it in my car. Nevertheless, this item was exactly what we need.

The Vittles Vault Airtight Stackable Pet Food Container is the subject of this review.adore it The airtight/watertight lid on this is ideal for keeping a 40-pound bag of dog food dry and fresh. I detect no smell of dog food permeating the plastic.The cabinet in our kitchen easily accommodates this. Its width is 12". The back is 15 1/2" tall, while the curved lid at the top is 16 1/4" tall. The depth is around 20 1/4". The top flat portion is 9" by 9". The hole measures 8 1/2" in diameter on the inside.I'm glad that this plastic is of food-grade quality. The hole is so big that it's quite simple to scoop out the food. A plastic cup for scooping out the kibble is also included.A 5 gallon plastic paint or utility bucket and a lid with the same design as the Vittles Vault's cover, both made by Gamma, were the materials I intended to use to create my own dry storage container. Dry food storage is available right away because the lid simply slips over the top of the bucket. However, it would have cost around $15 and not been able to hold the whole bag of food. This therefore fulfills the need exactly for twice the price of my own solution.There have been some complaints concerning the container's capacity to accommodate a 40-pound bag of kibble in its entirety. Kibble does come in a variety of shapes. Some kibble "compacts" into a smaller space because it is small and regular in shape. Other kibble is shaped differently, thus it will take up more room for a given weight. As my video demonstrates, I haven't encountered any problems. We purchase Kirkland dog food, and I receive 35 lbs of variety per bag. It fits in the 40lb Vittles Vault with plenty of room to spare.I've read extensively about the difficulties some individuals have stacking these containers. They discover that it is challenging to lift and move these since they lack handles. Additionally, when a stack is at capacity, users report that the bottom containers' round openings take on an oval form, making it difficult or impossible to screw the lid on or off. These should not be stacked more than two units high, with the heaviest unit on the bottom. You won't experience that problem if you follow those instructions. These difficulties don't effect my use of this because I just use one container in my cabinet. I gave this five stars for that reason. This is the ideal way to store the food for our pets. The 30 pound bag of Bil-Jac Select dog food fits nicely and easily in a 55 quart container. The bag doesn't need to be dumped; nonetheless, doing so is advised to preserve its freshness. Just enough space remains in the bag after cutting off the top for a bowl filled with the contents of the prior bag. I'm pleased I didn't get the smaller version because I worried this could be too huge after reading the description. The container's sticker claims that it can carry more than 45 pounds of dog food, but for our brand, it is untrue. Even though the bag is disguised by its dark hue, if you look closely you can see what is inside, which may be beneficial if you had several of these. Although the wheels are small and made of plastic, they move easily, so I wouldn't tip the container over or drop it once it was fully loaded with food. The lid has a gasket integrated in it to keep the seal tight, and the latch is simple to use with with one hand.

We are really happy we purchased this small bag because it makes it easy to carry and access dog treats for use during puppy training.
