I've ordered both this brand and the Hawaiian Shaved Ice brand in the past month. Choose this brand if you want snow cones for a birthday celebration or other enjoyable event. The flavour isn't as strong and it's obviously thinner than Hawaiian shaved ice, but it's acceptable for fun occasions when the kids aren't really interested. The lower cost is unquestionably justified. Pay more for the Hawaiian Shaved Ice, though, if you're selling snow cones as a fundraiser (like we were) or for some other purpose.

This is the bomb, people! It's the greatest caramel sauce I've had in a long time (and I've been purchasing it from Amazon for a long time).I make an effort to limit my consumption of alcohol to one bottle every month. A caramel latte is my indulgence, and thank heavens I don't have them every day.The caramel is buttery, thick, and flavorful. gorgeous color I add a touch of caramel on top of the coffee before swirling it around the mug. It's delicious and far less expensive than going to a large coffee shop. A thick, rich liquid that works its magic on some desserts, this is liquid enough to squeeze out but not thick enough to keep its shape. In the summer it is a little thinner, and in the winter it is a little thicker. A pretty great product that I keep using.

Thus, accessing it is challenging—requiring the use of a step stool and a challenging climb—to say the least.Because I would simply down the entire bottle in one shot if it were out in the open where I could easily access it!this stuff is man,G!O!O!D!!!!!!Recall: This is a SAUCE, not syrup!(I know, Captain obvious, thank you, but I've informed three people about this product and two of them were shocked when they received it and realized it wasn't Torani syrup.)It resembles caramel sauce in appearance when poured over ice cream because of its creamy consistency. And then poured on top of pumpkin ice cream... WOW, I always eat it far too quickly and end up with brain freeze!I also add it to my Nespresso machine's lattes; for a triple shot latte with 6 ounces of frothed milk, I use roughly 2 tablespoons.I pay roughly $7 for the cocktail at the Buck with Stars, but I can make it at home for about $1.75.Since I bought the espresso maker in July 2018 and started making my own at home, my husband makes the joke that I have paid for it at least twice and am currently working on a third time.I spend more money during this season because I can't get enough pumpkin lattes!I make my lattes with pumpkin sauce and a dab of vanilla and caramel syrup, and I'm in love...with a cup of coffee! My spouse claims that the sauce reminds him more of sweet potato pie.His brain may be jumbled because he was born in Mississippi, but who cares?Sweet potato pie is one of my favorite foods. The only drawback is that it contains a whopping 100 calories per serving (2 tbs), and I usually go overboard and increase it when I put it on ice cream.I just need to get better at eating ice cream and drinking lattes while using my Max Trainer, or at the very least, start using it as soon as I complete either one!

Brown rice syrup has a glycemic index (GI) of 98, which is higher than refined white sugar and comparable to glucose (GI of 65). It has a GI of 25, contrary to what is stated in a number of online sources. But disregard the GI; it may be quite deceptive. Agave nectar, for example, has a high fructose content but a low GI since fructose doesn't induce a surge in blood sugar levels. Nice, huh? No! A high-fructose diet can cause liver damage, high triglycerides, free radicals (which increase the risk of cancer), insulin resistance, and belly fat. So a low GI isn't always preferable to a high GI (ice cream has a low GI since it has a lot of fat-based energy!). Typically, brown rice syrup has 3% glucose, 45% maltose, and 52% maltotriose. Both maltose and maltotriose, which are made up of three glucose molecules instead of two linked together, are swiftly converted to glucose after consumption. When consumed in moderation, glucose is one of the most common and manageable sources of energy in our bodies.Since the starch from the grain is transformed to maltose (a.k.a. glucose), conventional ("light") corn syrup and brown rice syrup are practically the same thing. Compared to high-fructose corn syrup, where a significant portion of the glucose has been converted to fructose (ouch! ), this is substantially different. Fructose to glucose ratio in agave nectar is about 2:1 (also boo! While sugar, coconut sugar, honey, and maple syrup are all roughly 1:1 fructose and glucose (Dr. Oz acknowledged that he was mistaken on this point) (when you break it down). Some of them, such as unprocessed honey, maple syrup, and brown sugar, also have beneficial minerals or phytonutrients. The most prevalent type of sugar found in fruit is fructose. Fructose is not harmful when consumed in moderation in fruit; nevertheless, difficulties arise when large amounts of fructose are consumed often without fruit's fiber and other nutrients (e.g. in a soda or certain processed foods). Less than 10% of the fructose content of even delicious fruits like apples and grapes. The key to managing your intake of sweeteners is to balance the amount of sugar in each meal and snack with other nutrients like fiber, protein, and fat. However, glucose is a better option than fructose if you're cooking something that's highly sweet (> 10% sugar), like cookies or a cake.Although the quantities of arsenic discovered were somewhat greater than the EPA standards for drinking water, your actual intake of the syrup will be so small (compared to drinking water) that I don't think it makes a difference.Brown rice syrup has been criticized for being less sweet than sugar syrup or honey, causing you to use more of it. When substituting 1 14 cups for 1 cup of syrup, Lundberg advises doing so. I used mine to make homemade granola bars, and they turned out okay. However, for the next batch, I used raw honey (Y.S. Eco Bee Farms Raw Honey - 22 oz), and I thought they were better. The honey is more expensive than brown rice syrup, but because it is sweeter, I can use less of it, so the difference in price is offset. Organic honey is likely the most environmentally friendly natural sweetener, but maple syrup is also excellent if you are vegan or allergic to honey, though it is obviously more expensive. The advantage of brown rice syrup and corn syrup is that neither contains fructose (see below for further information). Then there is the tasty and largely sustainable Date Lady Organic Pure Date Syrup — 12 fl oz (review: http://www.amazon.com/review/R3KQJQIBKJB2MM/), or you may make your own simple syrup by mixing water with the environmentally friendly type of sugar you like (coconut sugar, organic raw sugar).I believe the product gets 4/5 green stars for overall environmental and social impact, which is equal to the 4/5 standard gold stars for quality and value when compared to other sweeteners and other businesses. The brown rice syrup is presumably closer to you than, example, coconut sugar because it is manufactured from rice grown organically in California. However, the water need is higher: Rice needs just modest watering, which is more than sugar beets and coconut palms (which, incidentally, make up 55% of the sugar marketed in the U.S.). It is equivalent to most other grains in this regard. There are more factors at play here than when making maple syrup or honey because the conversion of the rice to syrup requires energy and resources (enzymes, acid, and base). Each year, as a condition of membership in the Sustainable Food Trade Association, Lundberg publishes a thorough report including topics like worker treatment, energy and water efficiency, and waste diversion from landfills. On their website's "About" page, there is a link that will take you to the report. They debuted certified biodynamic rice in 2014, and even their non-organic rice is produced sustainably. They use natural pest control methods, agricultural rotation (including nitrogen-fixing crops), water-saving irrigation systems, and habitat preservation (for migratory birds, for example). They also have a rice breeding program where they research and cross rice types with objectives including shorter seasons and water saving. This program also includes measures for methane reduction and carbon sequestration (such as returning harvested rice stalks to the field). They use big solar panel arrays to produce portion of their electricity, and they offset the remaining amount with carbon credits.

This kit is what I bought to go on top of our soft serve ice cream maker. These were the only syrups that satisfied my criteria for not needing to be refrigerated after opening so we could leave the toppings out without worrying about keeping them cool. They are incredibly well-liked, and everyone loves all the flavour variations. The salted caramel has been a favourite for us, but I haven't heard any complaints about the other tastes. Although the included spoon is very high quality, we decided not to use it with the syrups and instead used it as a scoop for the malt powder.

A wonderful, pure pomegranate syrup is at last available! I adore using pomegranate syrup, but until now, I was disappointed that I couldn't find one that wasn't made with corn syrup and artificial colours. With this rich, sweet, and tart syrup that can be used in so many ways, Just Pomegranate Syrup saves the day. I love to mix it with sparkling water for a quick, refreshing cocktail, add it to salad dressings and marinades, and even just drizzle it directly over my yoghurt and oatmeal.

I recently rediscovered my passion for strawberry milk, and while I greatly prefer the syrup to the powder, either would be fine with me. I would estimate that since I started, my milk consumption has increased by around 10 times. I also enjoy buying flavoured Oreos, particularly the Lemon or Cotton Candy kind, and dipping them in strawberry milk.

Okay, my wish has come true!I started eating healthier, therefore I was seeking for something to flavor and add sweetness to my meals without adding a lot of calories. Reading the reviews made me unsure because some people had complained about the flavor, and I am quite particular about that. I adored it! I was concerned that the shipment might arrive damaged, but everything was perfect.:DI just can't believe it has no calories, even though the flavor is excellent! I only use a spoonful every use because bottles last so long. I've had it for two months, just finished the chocolate, and still have more strawberry and caramel. You can add it in anything; I put it in fruit salads, Greek yogurt, cereal, healthy ice cream, and smoothies.I unquestionably recommend it to anyone keeping track of their calories, and I'll absolutely purchase it again!
