Seki Japan MASAMUNE, Japanese Vegetable Kitchen Knife, Nashiji Stain Finish Stainless Steel Nakiri Knife, Shiraki Handle, 6.3 inch (160mm) Review:

I've been a chef for 12 years, five of which I spent at a very high level making sushi. Great value for a sturdy small knife that won't keep an edge all day but will fast return to razor sharpness. Perfect for beginners who want to safely learn how to maintain a knife or for serious users who require a working tool but cannot afford to spend $120 on a miyabi utility. I didn't anticipate falling in love with it as much as I have.

Chef Knife - Professional 8 Inches, High Carbon Stainless Steel, Ultra Sharp and Ergonomic Handle Perfect for Sushi, Chopping, Slicing, Dicing & Mincing. Wisdom Series Kitchen Knife Review:

Today I received my gorgeous chef's knife from Spirit Wisdom. It was cushioned with air pillows and packaged with care. Beautiful red and black box with an outer sleeve and an inner fold-over magnetic box. There are textual descriptions of the knife and handle inside the lid. The implanted spirit knowledge logo is a glossy silver and black, and it stands out against the dark pakkawood. A black plastic sheath protects the blade. When the knife is not being used, a small red ribbon tied to a black plastic peg holds the sheath in position. One side of the blade has the Wisdom series emblem engraved on it, and the other side has Chinese characters. I'm not a fan of knives, yet I fall in love right away. I test its sharpness on the tips of my hair, and sure enough, it's sharp. I tremble at the prospect of all that acid being so close to this gorgeous blade in my dinner of hamburger and sliced tomatoes. I'm reassured by the maintenance instructions inside the lid that all I have to do to keep it secure is immediately wash it in warm, sudsy water with a sponge, and then dry it. It has just arrived in time for fall canning and is wonderfully shaped for the rocking action so essential for good vegetable cutting. I will never longer spare any tomato, cabbage, or celery from my wrath!

Yoshihiro Shiroko High Carbon Steel Kasumi Deba Shitan Handle Japanese Fillet Butcher Chefs Knife 6 Inch(150mm) Review:

The knife slicing through the fish is comparable to a hot knife in butter. I just finished filleting a yellowtail that was over 20 pounds and around 4 feet long. It sliced right through the thick skin as if it weren't there. Splitting the head was also no problem. went through the bone with little difficulty. Excellent knife, and I would buy another one. The price is reasonable for such a sharp knife, thus I will probably look into other models they produce.

SHI BA ZI ZUO Chef Knife Chinese Cleaver Kitchen Knife Superior Class 7-inch Stainless Steel Knife with Ergonomic Design Comfortable Wooden Handle Review:

This knife is excellently built, razor-sharp, and portable. I never used a knife that cost above $200. I therefore can't remark on that. But just $30, it's a great deal. It seems to be a good choice for regular cooking. This is all you need if you don't need to slice bones. This knife is large compared to a western chef's knife but modest for a Chinese chef's knife. You could prefer this one even more if you have small hands and want a chef's knife in the Chinese style.Whoever chose the sticks for this knife is unknown to me. It is difficult to get rid of them, as others have stated. I applied the heat. The top layer (the plastic labels) will come off easily after heating them, but the adhesive will not. Alcohol used for rubbing was unsuccessful. To completely remove the glue, I had to use Goo Gone. This is absurd. therefore taking away one star.

Kutt Chef Knife Set, 8 inch Professional Kitchen Knife, German High Carbon Stainless Steel Utility Knife, Work Sharp Chopping Knife Review:

I purchased this chef's knife during my recent trip to the US, and it is excellent. The package includes an 8-inch chef knife with a pakka wood handle that is a very clever odor-removing tool that is handy after chopping garlic, onions, and other strong-smelling foods. Not to mention, it has a finger guard that is excellent for chopping. After using the knife for a week, I am particularly pleased with its balance and sharpness. For those just starting out, chef knives' balance is crucial. I've owned various knives in the past, including inexpensive, medium-priced, and costly ones. This one, though, surpassed all of my expectations. In addition, compared to other knives available, it is a great pick because of the pricing and accessories. I'll return for more KUTT goods.

Utopia Kitchen Chef Knife 8 Inches Cooking Knife Carbon Stainless Steel Kitchen Knife with Sheath and Ergonomic Handle - Chopping Knife for Professional Use Review:

I truly enjoy this knife because it offers so much for the price. great weight, bolster, and full tang. The handle is very well-shaped, incredibly pleasant to hold, and it moves quickly around the board. Very sharp right out of the box; we'll see what occurs as it becomes dull and I use a stone to sharpen it again. I got another one because it seems to be really good value for the money and I didn't anticipate "feeling" this kind of quality at this pricing. We shall see! Fast arrival and everything was as promised... but I guess I underestimated it! I've been looking for a really good knife that wouldn't break the bank. I decided to give this Hiroshi knife a shot after seeing so many positive reviews. I adore this knife more than anything! Kai Seki Magoroku Kinju ST Japanese Deba Knife 180mm (AK-1103) Review:

I wasn't sure what to anticipate with this knife. Although heavier than other blades, it feels good in the hand. The right-handed single bevel blade is sharp and the handle is comfortable. Because of its fairly substantial weight, I imagine it would be difficult to use all day, but for my purposes, it works great. I was able to cut prosciutto into paper-thin, nearly transparent slices. I am ecstatic beyond words.

MSY BIGSUNNY 7 inch Deba knife Kitchen Cooking Chef Sushi Knife High Carbon Stainless Steel Blade with Rose wood Handle Review:

I gambled on buying this cheap knife and was pleasantly delighted. Nice German steel that is comfortable to hold, incredibly sharp right out of the box, simple to sharpen using a good two-stage stone, and handles delicate fish and light vegetables very well. Just a couple minor surprises: the blade is only beveled on the right side, making it best suited for right-handed people, and the grip is not a complete tang, making it unsuitable for heavy-duty cutting. But I suppose that both of these characteristics are appropriate for a light-duty filet/sushi knife. Simply including these details in the description would have allowed customers to make an informed decision about whether or not the knife is suited for them. Fortunately, it's unquestionably the best knife for me.I had to chuckle when I read one really unfavorable review that was extremely scathing of a sushi knife produced in China. Many goods of very high quality are produced in China. Everything simply depends on the specifications, designs, components, and quality control procedures used by the business ordering and selling the finished product. His assertion that a quality sushi knife cannot be produced in China is roughly equivalent to someone asserting that all foreign vehicles imported into the United States are incapable of being safely driven on American roads. Silly! Just be selective about the goods you purchase, regardless of where they were produced.
