Cake Decorating Supplies,214 PCS Baking Set with Springform Cake Pans Set, Cake Rotating Turntable, Cake Decorating Kits, Muffin Cup Molds, Perfect Cake Baking Supplies for Beginners and Cake Lovers Review:

Despite my love for baking and cooking, I have never actually purchased any equipment (apart from my set of pots and pans:)) For any aspiring baker, this set is an excellent deal because it comes with everything you would need: Cake pans in three different sizes, one small heart-shaped pan, tools for working with fondant (like making flowers and stuff), a spinning cake stand (to spread frosting evenly), spatulas (for spreading), reusable cupcake molds, reusable frosting bags, disposable frosting bags, rectangle things to smooth the sides of the cake, numerous piping tips, a small number of Russian piping tips, a cake cutter wire, and what appears to be a serrated knife (I assume it's for cutting the cake I can't wait to give it a shot for my birthday sweets. I've made delicious cakes, but because I lacked the necessary tools, I wasn't able to design them as I would have liked. I've never been interested in learning about fondant, but now that I have some tools, I might give it a shot. Although the kit is not of professional or commercial level, I am pleased with its performance for any home baker. I would tell a friend about this.

OXO Good Grips Cake Tester – Non-Slip Handle – Simplify Baking Review:

It works fine for me as a meat/fish tester, however it is prone to bending and becoming crooked, which might cause errors for me. It's a nice product overall, but it would be amazing if it included a holder for my coat pocket. Wonderful handle.

Teenitor Cake Scraper Cake Smoother, 7 Pcs Cake Icing Scraper Cake Smoother Scraper Cutters Smoother Tool Set Review:

I'm happy with my buy. Since I am only experimenting and don't want to invest in art materials, this set seemed like the ideal choice for me when I was seeking for something to paint with. The set is exactly as shown and described. Although the quality is just fair (it's plastic), I'm still satisfied because I didn't anticipate anything better for the price. These will probably work great for baking and cakes as well.

Wilton 46-Piece Deluxe Cake Decorating Set, Cake Decorating Supplies Review:

Although I haven't decorated a cake in a while, I want to make the birthday cakes for my preschooler and perhaps even teach her how to do it.Overall, I think this is a great collection to start with. There is a good selection of the fundamental tips, "disposable" bags (which are lighter than the vinyl bags but heavy enough to be washed and reused at least a few times), a nice offset spatula, a quick coupler, and a box to store it in—all of which are crucial for keeping all of your supplies together and not dispersed throughout your drawers. You can always drop your tip directly into the bag before adding icing instead of using the coupler. But if you want to use a few different tips, it's extremely handy since you can use the coupler to change the tip really easily without using another bag or more icing. However, since the coupler base goes into the bag with the icing, you'll definitely need a few additional couplers (or at least coupler bases) if you intend to use the same tip with different colors. If you plan to leave the tip off the bag for a while, there is also a cap to cover it.The bigger tips are incompatible with the coupler. Only the smaller points fit. I think you can get bigger couplers to use with those here or somewhere else.A bag cutter is included with the coupler. You must trim 1" off the ends of the bags because they don't have an end hole. I find that a quick snip with the scissors is quicker and easier than using the cutter, but I imagine the cutter could be good for that if you have difficulties trimming too much or not enough. For the majority of home decorators, this set is pretty beautiful overall. The instruction manual is where I have the most issues. I was pleased to discover that a pamphlet was provided because it had been so long. But as soon as I cracked out the pamphlet, my joy gave way to annoyance. The pamphlet will be absolutely useless to you if you are over 35. 6 point type is used for the writing. It was so difficult for me to read. It's a straightforward saddle-stitched booklet printed in black ink on cheap paper. The cost of production isn't all that high. Wilton, please include 4 more pages and make the text in the pamphlet at least 11 points in size. I saw in various reviews that the coupler's use was not covered by any instructions. There are instructions, but many people can't even read them because they are so tiny.

RFAQK 64 PCs Cake decorating supplies kit with Cake Turntable-Cake leveler-24 Numbered Piping Tips with Pattern Chart & EBook- Straight & Offset Spatula-30 Icings Bags- 3 Icing smoother Scraper set Review:

Everything in this was of decent quality when I purchased it. The tips, in my opinion, could be a bit larger, but it wouldn't cause too much issue. The cake leveler is one thing you most definitely shouldn't get this for. The spatulas are actually rather fine, and the turntable does its job. The blue pieces are smaller than I anticipated and were somewhat disappointing, but a beginner can work with them. Overall, the purchase is essentially worthwhile.

Kootek 42 Pieces Cake Decorating Kits Supplies with 36 Numbered Icing Tips, 2 Silicone Pastry Bags, 2 Flower Nails, 2 Reusable Plastic Couplers Baking Frosting Tools Set for Cupcakes Cookies Review:

Click the HELPFUL button if this review has been helpful to you.My first attempt at baking is a cupcake with icing, therefore I was looking for an inexpensive tip and piping bag when I found this one. Now let me tell you about my experience with it.1. SturdyI find the tips to be sturdy enough to use as I create the cupcakes because they do not sideways open. I am still using them. Regarding the bag, mine tore at the bottom, possibly from the connection because I occasionally switch out the tips. But the bag was useful for a time.2. Design The frosting design is identical to that of other tips. With this, you can accomplish what you see online. All you need to do is practice.3. OrganizingThe hardest aspect of the process, especially after icing, is cleaning. I suggest have a little brush ready to clean your tips completely. You should also be aware that food coloring or gel in your icings will stain your piping bags. Even if it will be difficult, it is worthwhile, especially for a newbie like myself.

Wilton Easy Glide Fondant Smoother Review:

When working with fondant, this is one of the best tools you can have. It removes air bubbles that are present between the cake and fondant and beautifully smooths the fondant. You can trim the fondant by pressing the edge of the smoother on the fondant as you smooth it into sharp corners around the perimeter of the cake. It's a really straightforward tool, but it's crucial for achieving a clean, polished appearance.

Ateco 1446 - 3 Sided Decorating Comb and 1447- 4 Sided Decorating Comb & Icing Smoother, 2 Pc Set Review:

It's a metal tool here. For example, you can smooth buttercream on a cake using the flat side before covering it with fondant. The frosting won't be absolutely smooth because the other three sides will instead make a pattern out of it. According to the directions, ice the cake thoroughly. Then, before the crust forms, dip the smoother/comb into hot water, brush off the excess, and sweep it across the iced surface. basic and straightforward. Less frosting will be removed from the cake if you hold it at an angle. Imagine holding the tool completely perpendicular to the cake's surface, with the patterned edge resting on the icing, and then folding the hand holding the tool in toward the cake while maintaining the edge's position. I'm not sure what the advantage of a rectangle tool over a square one is, but the two long sides can easily accommodate a typical two-layer cake side. At the top and bottom of the cake, the little sides may need to be drawn twice against the frosting. I was relieved to see that it is metal and will endure over time because I had assumed that this was plastic acrylic. It can be bent with a lot of force, but it won't bend naturally when used.

Grosun 6Pcs Sugar Stir Needle Scriber Needle, DIY Baking Pin Whisk Stainless Steel Needle Biscuit Icing Pin Review:

These tiny scribing needles are rather wonderful. They work just great for the reason for which I bought them—using royal icing to decorate cookies. The points are a little bit sharper than I would have preferred, but it's not a big deal. Although the handles are not ergonomic, it is still quite simple to hold them. I can tell that using them for extended periods of time would make them unpleasant in the hand, but I don't. They appear to be sufficiently robust and fared well when rinsed in a mesh bag on the top shelf of the dishwasher.

Prepworks by Progressive Dough Press, Set of 3 Review:

This was a wise investment. They make making ravioli and empanadas so much simpler for me. It takes a little practice to gauge how much stuffing to add, but once you get it down, this is simple. One suggestion is to make sure your dough completely encircles the ridges. Before opening, peel off any extra dough from the side. When closing it, press down firmly enough to ensure that the edges seal securely. Additionally, you can simply rub a little flour on the inside of these if your dough starts to adhere to them.Compared to manually creating ravioli, empanadas, turnovers, etc., this is a lot quicker and easier. Highly advised.
