have encountered no issues with this. Was concerned that it wouldn't track properly on a hard desk surface without a mouse pad, but it does! extremely thin but cozy in the hand. Additionally, the clicking, moving, and rolling of the ball is virtually completely silent, which is advantageous in a calm lecture session. It works great with my Surface Pro 3 when I use it. I appreciate how the USB can be inserted directly into the mouse. I initially believed they made a mistake and failed to package the USB connector, however it is located right next to the battery!Do you? The ball scroller is not actually a ball, I should point you. Although it seems like it should go in all directions, it does not. It only travels forward and backward on the same track. This is good, however despite what it appears to be, you cannot scroll in any way.

Some people have complained that this mouse is too little, according to reviews I've seen. Despite having little hands, I didn't anticipate finding something so tiny. I have no issues with this mouse at all. I adore the way it feels, including the size, shape, and material it is made of. Since it's not a gaming mouse, I don't expect it to be on par with one. However, for the price, it performs flawlessly, and I'd even venture to say that you could play games with this mouse and have fun. Right now, I'm using this mouse on my laptop. Although I did not purchase it with the intention of using it for gaming, I would definitely think about replacing my gaming mouse with this one while I wait for a replacement. Simply a fantastic purchase. When I showed a friend, he said: "Wow, this is what you get from Amazon for $6.99? This is superior to the mice my employer buys for us." One of my all-time favorite wireless mice is by far this one. I love the sounds that my computer equipment make, from my Cherry mx Blue mechanical keyboard to my Corsair gaming mouse. Unfortunately, I also have a lot of trouble respecting other people's privacy and mine. Those sounds are soothing to me at home, but they are inappropriate in a classroom or library. Despite the near silence, pressing nevertheless provides gratifying feedback. If I had to compare the sound and feel of a mech keyboard to a cherry mx red switch, it doesn't feel like one.Anytime I am not near a computer, I utilize this as my primary tool. It is an easy plug-and-play gadget. On my Surface Pro 3, I utilize it. The grip is excellent. My hands are somewhat medium in size. The mouse is silky and delicate. The battery has a long life! I frequently use the scroll, which also functions as a third button, and it scrolls quite smoothly.The lack of software support is the main issue I have with this. Hence, there is just one setting for the sensitivity. On my Surface Pro 3, which has a 12" screen, this works just perfectly. When I attach it to a larger display, such as a 24 in. There is a definite lack of sensibility. The dpi on the gaming mouse I use for personal use on my computer may reach 12000. (Corsair m65 pro). At 1000 dpi, this one min/max. I use an 8000 dpi personal mouse. So I'm working on a computer monitor at approximately 13% of the speed I use at home.Hence, aside from the slow DPI on large monitors. Keep in mind that both screen size and resolution are important. The mouse was the same speed when I used the Surface Pro 3 and my 24 in. monitor at 1080p, but it took me longer to move from one end of the screen to the other because the monitor's screen real estate was larger. The mouse speed did change when I increased the surface resolution to 1440p, but since the screen is so little, it didn't really matter. Just keep in mind that this mouse will function flawlessly with any 13-inch laptop or smaller, regardless of resolution (with the exception of 4K). You will see a difference with anything larger, from 15-inch to extended monitors, especially if you upgrade to 2K or 4K resolution.The back and forward buttons are the smallest thing I have to mention, but I always miss them when using this mouse. It is frustrating to have to shift the pointer to advance or turn pages! I had no idea I had buttons until I started using this mouse. Therefore, it's only an additional step when exploring the web, but as long as you have a smaller screen, poor quality display, it's not a major deal. On a long display with 2K resolution, having to continuously turning around to get back is a nuisance. The entire mouse pad, from one corner to the other, must be used (large mouse pad).Overall, very strongly advised. For my HP Spectre 4k 15in laptop, I'll also likely soon purchase a more expensive programmable wireless mouse, although the current mouse still works great.

Over the past five years, I have bought a number of these mice and will continue to do so. Although it has a lengthy battery life and an off switch, this mouse loses points because the batteries stop working after 9 months of everyday usage.4 stars for sizeThe mouse is smaller than many "ergonomic" mice yet a little longer than most. Many smaller mice don't easily fit my larger palms, unlike this one. Smaller hands like my wife's make it easy for her to use. My little children, who number in the multiples, also have no issues with it. The mouse is pleasantly symmetrical, but my hand is not, despite being attractive to look at and fitting into smaller pockets. On one side, I have a thumb, and on the other, a pinky. Although I haven't met most people, I would say they are like most people. This leaves your pinky resting on the surface you are using the mouse on and your ring finger sort of hanging. Your pinky would cramp up if you forced it into the thumb groove. You may assume that this symmetry makes it useful for lefties, and while my sister who uses her right hand prefers to use it, the extra forward and back thumb buttons are on the opposite side, making them difficult for a lefty to use as she must use her ring finger. She claims she could adjust to it, but first she'd have to buy a mouse of her own and quit taking mine.Five Stars for Connection and LaserThe nano receiver that the mouse connects to plugs into any USB port. It is NOT Bluetooth, which is fortunate because Bluetooth has pairing troubles. The movement is fluid, and the connection is strong. Other wireless mice have a problem where they enter standby after a short period of time and fail to register the first movement when you start using the mouse again. but not this one. This mouse travels easily and tracks on any surface I have tried it on. I've used as many as five of them simultaneously in the same room without experiencing any negative affects or "cross talk." I've read that it's possible to attach a mouse to a different nano receiver, but I've never tried it or messed around with it. I've also heard that posting a legal disclaimer on your Facebook wall will protect your copyright and privacy rights, so who knows. Just make sure you don't lose the tiny receiver; there's a place for it in the battery compartment. Additionally, avoid forgetting where you put it and searching your entire home for it after putting it in the battery compartment. Finally, because the optic is invisible, neither a red light nor a blinding laser of death protrudes from the bottom.3 stars for durabilityI'm tough on my mice. My kids aren't either. About 50 hours a week are spent using my work one, although it is only used at a desk and is hardly ever dropped. My office mouse typically lasts nine months before the buttons begin to double click. It is used on every surface in the house, including the couch, bed, dog, desk, wood-grain table, carpet, wall, glass stove top (while the stove top is off), tile wall, wife's back, bottom of shoe (ineffective, yes), and, on rare occasions, a mouse pad. My personal mouse is used less frequently but still for several hours each week. My personal mouse gets dropped, thrown, covered with drool, occasionally kicked, and used as a shield when my wife slaps me. It resides in a bag that is frequently tossed around when not in use. This one typically lasts 7-8 months before the laser stops reading as many surfaces or the buttons cease clicking (or double clicking). The mouse in my media center is only occasionally used—a few minutes daily are spent beginning or stopping a show. We switched it to the little used media center mouse after a previous mouse served me for seven months and the laser began to be finicky about surfaces. More than a year has passed with this mouse being in this position without becoming any worse. Therefore, I am convinced that the problem is one of abuse and overuse. It is important to note that none of the other mice from Microsoft, HP, or Dell that I have used or owned have lasted this long.Rating for Battery Life: 5The mouse uses two AA batteries, which last for a while if you put them in the same way (ick). If you utilize rechargeable batteries, you may fit somewhat larger ones inside the chamber. When not in use, my two mice are off, but they get a lot of use, and the Duracell batteries that come with them typically last longer than the mice do. There is a nice little strip of plastic built in that, when you pull on it, the batteries pop up.Unusual top light: 3 StarsOn top, there is an odd glow. It illuminates when the mouse is turned on, ensuring you that the mouse is indeed on. Because batteries endure forever, you are spared the agonizing anxiety of wondering if the batteries are dead every time you switch it on. To save battery life, the light switches off after a short while. Although nice, it is not essential. Also, I believe I saw it flash angry red at me once after it was flung across the room, so who am I to stop it if this is the mouse's main form of communication?5 stars for noiseThe mouse is quite silent. Usually, I can't tell by sound alone whether it's on or off. Turning the switch on and off or hitting either button produces a gentle, pleasing click sound. Usually, the surface I'm utilizing for the mouse generates a lot more noise than the actual mouse.Switch Off: 5 StarsIt works. A colored pad under the switch allows you to see a little amount of red when it's off and green when it's on, and there is a small ridge in the middle that provides just enough friction to effortlessly flip the switch on or off. This is advantageous because the words for on and off are etched on and are only visible under certain lighting conditions.

An fantastic wireless mouse that lasts a long time, however it takes two batteries. Because the USB receiver is kept in the same compartment as the batteries, the batteries could go loose if the USB receiver is hit during shipment. Overall, I'd suggest that the M510, the mouse's older sibling, is preferable if you travel with it in a bag. However, it is incredibly snappy, and just like the M510, it can be used for gaming at home with little to no lag and no tracking concerns.However, using a wireless mouse during a competition is not advised due to potential interference from nearby cell phones and other wireless devices.The scroll wheel on this mouse is constructed of inferior material, and as many others have noted, it wears out quite rapidly. The surface turns smooth, and the mouse wheel's center axis has so many feedback bumps that rotating it makes it feel cheap.

After using my first Magic Mouse 2 for three weeks, I'll share my experience with it:The mouse has an internal battery, so you won't need to replace it. It comes with a charging cable. It supports gestures, so once you learn them all you won't need to use the trackpad on your Macbook, which will increase productivity.1 drawback: $76 for a mouse? Yes, it is really pricey, but I bought it so I could use it. Will you advise purchasing it? Most likely only if you want to spend a lot of money.#2 Precision: The mouse's DPI is only 1300, which is terrible given that the majority of modern mice have more than 10.000 and can be adjusted dynamically. This implies you have to move your hand a lot to move the cursor if you need to work with many monitors.#3 For a $76 product, the Macbook constantly loses Bluetooth connections!!! Only with inexpensive equipment can these problems be anticipated.#4 Ergonomics: You won't want to hold this mouse for a long time. Because I build software, I spend at least 8 hours a day in front of a computer. Pro: This wireless mouse is effective. When not in use, the tiny USB receiver can be stored inside the mouse. When installing, 2 AAA batteries are required (took me a sec to figure that out). It was promptly recognized by my Dell laptop and functions in every other way the same as a wired mouse does.Con: It will take some getting used to since it is shorter than a typical mouse. Although this seems to be a trend with wireless mice, I wish it were the same size as a regular mouse. I've included a photo.

Pro: This wireless mouse is effective. When not in use, the tiny USB receiver can be stored inside the mouse. When installing, 2 AAA batteries are required (took me a sec to figure that out).
