Bissell 78H63 Deep Clean Pro 2X Deep Cleaning Concentrated Carpet Shampoo, 48 ounces - Silver Review:

I've been using this stuff for a number of years. It does an amazing job of getting my carpets nice and clean. I'll get a stain on it and it won't get cleaned for quite some time until I'm ready to clean the carpets and it comes right out. On really good stains, I'll shoot out a little extra cleaner onto the stain and let it soak in a couple minutes and then go over it. My Carpets almost look NEW even though they aren't. I'm seeing some of these other pictures and the carpets are nasty. I would never let my carpets get in that condition. I'd be embarrassed for anyone coming over and seeing that.

I normally go over each section a couple times. Do my whole house. Then start all over and just use water. I always use HOT Water also. Just using water, I still get more dirt out. In the end, the carpets are nice and clean. I make sure I go over them a few times to make sure it sucks up as much water as it can as it'll dry out faster. I think the Scotch Gaurd helps getting the carpet clean once again. So you need to use this stuff before the stains are there so that they are scotch guard protected. Depending on how dirty your carpet is, is what level to set the machine. A hallway, for example, gets a lot of traffic. Heavy use!!! If it's not really that dirty, set it to normal. Then you don't go through the cleaner so fast.

Some people maybe should look at not wearing shoes in the house!!! I don't know what you're doing to get your carpet so nasty, but this stuff is not a miracle worker. You have to care a little bit about where you live. Clean far more often. Maybe use one of the small machines to clean right away just so the carpet doesn't look like a disaster zone. Looking not as bad as before is not good. If should look NEW when done. If you take care of your carpet, it will last a very long time.

Zep All-Purpose Carpet Shampoo Concentrate 128 ounce ZUCEC128 (formerly Carpet Extractor) Review:

I own and operate a busy collision repair and detailing shop. We do A LOT of work, from cleanups after collision to used car prep details for various local used car lots. In the picture attached to this review, you'll see the left side of the photo where we hadn't done any extraction work yet. This vehicle was previously owned by a heavy CIGAR smoker who apparently smoked at least 4 cigars a day with his windows up for the entire life of the vehicle prior to trading it in, if the staining and offensive aroma was any indication. On the right side of the photo, you'll see it looks significantly cleaner, and that's after only one set of overlapping passes. The ratio I used was roughly half a cup of extraction shampoo per gallon of water in my extraction machine, and, well...the photo speaks for itself. I've tried many extraction solutions, from Meguiars, to Rug Doctor, to Chemical Guys, and everything in between. They're all significantly more expensive than the Zep product per gallon, but the results I get from the Zep product is SIGNIFICANTLY better, so the value is INCREDIBLE...incredible enough for me to order four more gallons for my detailing shop after seeing the initial results.

BISSELLProHeat 2X Revolution Max Clean Pet Pro Full-Size Carpet Cleaner, 1986 Review:

Let me start by saying I wrote off all home carpet cleaners several years ago because no matter how expensive or how nice they were they all had the same problem, cleaning them after use. This new Bissell design however has taken that known issue and eliminated the worst part of it. Never have I had such access to the suction tunnels and brushes that you have with this machine. The ease of cleaning is amazing so it brought me back to the home carpet cleaner bandwagon so to speak.

This unit came packaged very well, and by very well I mean it was in a giant box, inside that giant box was another large box and filling for the empty space, inside that box was finally the product box. Inside the product box the machine was tightly packaged as you would find with any cleaner or vacuum when purchased so no surprises there. However I would like to commend Bissell for not using a ton of Styrofoam so kudos there.

Assembly was quite straight forward, all 4 pieces snap together easily and only 1 Phillips head screw needed to be installed. After consulting the manual I was able to figure out how to take apart the front section for cleaning so I was prepared.

Cleaning was a breeze especially with the flat design and getting under the end of beds or furniture. I also appreciate the fact that the accessories and hose come in a separate bag that only need to be attached to the machine when you are using them so leaving less bulk when using the main unit. Another kudos from me on this part. Main carpet portion was straight forward and using the foot controlled “extra” hot shot was pretty nice as well. Basically if you have a spot coming up in front of you there is a foot pedal you can step on that will squirt hot cleaner solution on the spot before the machine gets there to help assist with the removal of said spot.

The handheld attachments made quick work of my couches even with my dogs still laying on it. very easy to attach to the machine and very easy to use. If you have ever had a home carpet cleaning machine you will find most of these things pretty similar.

Now the cleanup. Super easy with the removable pieces off the brush heads. The only part I had to bend down and clean while still on the machine were the brush heads themselves. Ease of access and there was even a tool included to assist cleaning these brushes.

I know this seems like a lot of information but I wanted to makes sure I expressed anything I found so anyone looking at buying this unit could see my interaction with it first hand and hopefully help them make their decision. Long story short I would absolutely recommend this to anyone with carpet cleaning needs in their home. My mother in law has already been eyeballing mine

Good luck and enjoy you will not be disappointed with this machine.

Puracy Natural Carpet Cleaner Detergent, 4X Professional Pet Stain Remover & Deodorizer, 25 Ounce Review:

The strong scent in most carpet shampoo gives me a headache, and I have kids, so I was excited to try this more natural option. The scent is a very mild orange scent, which is a big plus, and I'm not worried about my baby crawling on it, so that makes me happy. However, be warned! This concentrate is VERY concentrated! It needs to be diluted A LOT before putting in the the solution tank of a carpet shampooer. It is much more concentrated than your average carpet cleaning solution. They're not joking when they say 4x concentrated; it seems even more concentrated than that to me. On the bottle it says use 1 oz with 100 oz of water and pour that in the water tank of the machine. I have an average Hoover Power Scrub carpet cleaner that mixes the solution with the water for you. It doesn't say in the Hoover manual what the ratio of solution to water is, but I know it takes many full tanks of water to go through the solution, and the ratio seemed about right based on the size of my water tank and solution tank. I was wrong! After cleaning my carpet once, and rinsing twice, it felt very gummy. I rinsed it 2 more times the next day, and it's starting to feel normal. It could probably use a couple more rinses. On the bright side, my carpet looks very clean, I don't have a headache, and this bottle should last forever. In the future I'll dilute it before putting it in the solution part of the tank. I would buy it again.

Bissell Professional Power Shot Oxy Carpet Spot, 14 ounces, 95C9 Stain Remover Review:

This works BIG time. I am notorious for spilling my ice coffee drink, or bumping into my dog and spilling a little bit of red wine. ( God forbid she should move a little bit when she's laying in a good spot. Lol). This stuff is absolutely excellent. And I love the spray nozzle, because you don't have to pump it, it just keeps a steady stream until the stain- area is covered. Unlike a pump that's a pain in the butt on your hand, and sometimes can fail. I've tried plenty of other products, and I might as well have put my money in the shredder. If you drink coffee or red wine, do yourself a favor and spend a little more and get this. Inevitably, you get what you pay for, and you end up using less because the formula is so effective. Bissell products in general I find to be very good. I used their carpet shampoo with a little cap full of their Power Boost formula, and my carpeting looks a shade lighter after I'm finished! And also, it has a pleasant scent. It doesn't smell like school/ office industrial carpet cleaner.

Bissell Pro Oxy Stain Destroyer Pet with Brush Head Cleaner Review:

This is a great spot cleaner for cleaning up messes that the anipals leave on the carpet or the occasional spilled drink or food. After picking everything up, squirt the cleaner onto the carpet or rug - I let it sit for a few minutes. There is a brush built into the bottle that works good for basic scrubbing but with bigger messes you will need a bigger brush with deeper bristles. You can either let the cleaner air dry or place a couple paper towels over it to soak up. After the carpet or rug is completely dry, run the vacuum over the area to make sure everything got picked up.

Easy to use, easy to clean smaller messes and stains, good value compared to buying a jug of shampoo and breaking out the big carpet shampooer. Works on a lot of stains, not just messes from the anipals. Red Gatorade or Koolade took some effort but this little bottle and brush cut through a surprisingly large chunk of it. It has some kind of odor control that helps erase the stink of pet messes. I'll buy another bottle or two to keep on hand just in case, great product for smaller messes and stains.

Rocco & Roxie Oxy Stain Remover - Tackles The Toughest Stains with The Cleaning Power of Oxygen - Pet Stains, Blood, Wine All Disappear - Leaves Carpets, Upholstery, and Laundry Clean & Fresh Review:

Let me set the stage for this long review. I am diagnosing myself as CP phobic (cat pee phobic). This is not yet an official disease but I am working on a patent. The roots of my CP phobia come from my childhood days as does everything else that is wrong with my life but I will skip the details for a book I will later write and discuss with Dr. Oz. Cats were around me in my childhood days and due to absent parents, they peed everywhere and little was done to clean it up. Therefore, the smell of cat pee brings severe anxiety, anger, and anything else that is related to a negative feeling. In 2002, a small kitten followed me into a 7-11. She was friendly but obviously abandoned and probably had her days limited if left in the busy parking lot of this convenience store. So on this wonderful day in the winter, I walked out with a Diet Coke, a pack of Marlboro lights, and a kitten. All three items were destined to deteriorate my health.

Fast forward to 2017 and this same cat is still with me. I am almost certain this cat will outlive me and I am only 34. This is the last cat I will ever own. Due to her age, attitude, and possibly her political views, she decided to start peeing on the carpet. I immediately google "life span of indoor cats." I realized I have at least 2 years left but maybe 5 years. I then take this 11 pound ball of fur to the vet to pay a lot of money for a diagnosis that my cat is healthy and a brat. Both of us come home hating each other. The peeing continues. Below is how I handled the situation in which she is still alive and I am slightly more unhinged than before. Several products will be mentioned as I am copying and pasting this review to all the companies who are responsible in allowing this cat to currently live through her natural life with me.

I spent a HUGE chunk of money on the litter robot. I recommend going to the litter robot website and researching this expensive toilet for cats. They have great customer service too. The litter robot is life changing for anyone who actually plans on owning cats for fun and for cats who refuse to use a dirty litter box. Due to my CP phobia, I plunked down the money. Everything worked great until my cat saw me enjoying life. The peeing began again. I put down a plain old square litter box and added "Cat Attract" litter. The peeing stopped. My adorable ball of high maintenance fur now uses the litter robot to go number two and the plain square box to go number one. The "Cat Genie" trash can is a must with anyone who has CP phobia. It keeps the smell down to a minimum and saves on trash bags.

Now that my 15 year old queen is satisfied with her restroom, I am now left to attack the cat pee smell. Putting Febreeze on a cat pee spot is like putting a cute SuperMan band aid on an 8 inch deep gash; it's super adorable but we all know I am going to pass out from the blood loss. Attacking cat pee is serious business and requires hours of work, determination, and money. Did I state how I will never own a cat again?

First you will need Rocco and Roxie pet stain remover. Just buy the jug if you are battling cat pee. The spray bottle will not be used. Pour Rocco and Roxie on the cat pee. It needs to be a puddle that soaks in through the carpet and into the carpet pad. We are not using a band aid, we are going in and sanitizing this dire situation. As you get the spots you can see, grab a UV light, turn off the lights, and prepare for night battle. Find all the illuminating spots and pour that Rocco and Roxie on all spots. Cat pee is no laughing matter to people like me. After all the spots are drenched, wait it out for a few hours and soak as much up with paper towels. If you use a towel, I feel you are transferring cat pee from one spot to the next. There will be a slight chemical smell. Again, cat pee is not like spilling your tumbler of vodka and soda water because the cat trips you up on purpose. Cat pee is anger and anxiety wrapped into one huge ball which needs strong chemicals to destroy.

If you are satisfied with Rocco and Roxie, and no odor of cat pee is present, then continue on with your life. If you are CP phobic and can detect a small whiff of cat pee, proceed to step 2.

Step two requires buying Angry Orange. Angry Orange is a smell that cats hate and is actually pretty pleasant to others. It smells like straight oranges. I bought the spray bottle and the concentrated refill bottle. Because I am CP phobic, I put a lot of the concentrated angry orange in a spray bottle and a little bit of water. I grabbed my UV light and went after the spots like the crazy, mad woman I have become. I sprayed all the spots only to have the entire house overwhelmed with the smell of orange. I am pretty sure my neighbors think I have opened a juicing station in the middle of my kitchen. I highly recommend following the directions of using the correct ratio of water to Angry Orange. If you do not follow the directions, not only will you think about writing a book called "James and the Giant Orange" but there will be slight orange spots on your carpet. Which now we can go to step 3.

Rocco and Roxie has an OxyClean product. This carpet cleaner gets out the toughest stains including my error of Angry Orange stains. Spray the product on any stain, let it sit for 5 minutes, and then start working on it with paper towels.

At this point, I am satisfied I have fought a good battle but I am still wary. I have an oreck orbiter to clean my travertine floors. I bought the attachments for cleaning the carpet and also Oreck Dry Carpet Cleaner. I spray the Rocco and Roxie OxyClean product as a mist on a 6 by 6 foot spot and then sprinkle the dry carpet cleaner all over. A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY. I rub the cleaner into the carpet with my oreck orbiter. Wait 45 minutes to 2 hours and vacuum. The Dry Carpet Cleaner gets out stains but it also gets out all the allergens and cat litter smell. I am not a fan of steam cleaning carpets. I have never had success. The Dry Carpet Cleaner is great for spring cleaning carpets or being completely unhinged by cat pee and needing to verify, the carpet is indeed clean.

Finally, after a week, I spray the areas in where I want my cat to never pee on, walk on, and or let alone even look at with the Natural Lemon Aerosol spray. Cats hate the smell of lemons and oranges.

I am now 90 percent satisfied I have won the battle of cat pee. I will not be 100 percent satisfied until I replace all the carpet but that will not happen until my cat crosses the rainbow in which she will probably pee on because that is how she rolls.

My cat has cost me a lot of money and time but I hope when I am old and peeing everywhere, that someone will take care of me and I will have two toilets in the same room. Did I state I will never own a cat again?

I hope this helps with anyone who has CP phobia and is willing to go above and beyond of getting rid of any trace of cat pee. I wish you well in your battle.
